Im gonna take away your treats and snacks!

But only after I eat mine first at my kids private Alice in a wonderland party with Johnny Depp that you taxpayers paid for!

I know all about health and what is good for you.

After my husband won his seat in the US senate, a hospital created a job for me earning hundreds of thousands of dollars a years...subsidized by the taxpayers...and i wasn't qualified.

Now I get to tell you all how to eat and raise your kids...

The government really has no right to regulate any type of food or drink a person puts in their body. "Hey, you can't eat that Happy Meal, it'll make you fat." "You don't need that candy, sugar is bad for you." Go sit on a spinning lawnmower blade, morons.

Maybe after they remove the shitty corn syrup put in things like coke instead of sugar because the government's made it cheaper and they get kickbacks and bribes to keep it that way.

Right troll Michele, because saying kids should probably be eating better and more veggies is some liberal conspiracy to mind control your kids.

People like you shouldn't be able to vote...EVER!

Hands up if you thought this was an Enrique article.

Guest#8543 is right.

Plus, even if we did tax sugar, who would that take sweets away from? Rich people? I highly doubt that.

As long as taxpayer funds don't go towards Fattie's health care or to subsidize a chubby-go-kart they'll use to block the chocolate bar aisle in Wal-Mart then we're all good.

Lack of food regulation = best reason AGAINST universal health care.

I remember working on my vegitibale patch out in front of the whitehouse telling the people during the easteregg roll not to eat sweets...

But then I gave my kids a big bag of peeps and took them on a tax payer funded trip to spain, and the entire families of my staff, for a mere 120,000,000 of your money.

I also beat Ellen in a push-up contest and dance off.

Yes, obese children are caused by sweets. Because kids can go out and buy what they want.

Maybe instead of trying to regulate what foods I can buy, the government keep an eye on unfit parents.

Steve Nash swore off sugar and then broke the franchise record for assists at age 37.

I said it here a long time ago, and I'm a non-smoker. If you regulate cigarette and alcohol then the next logical step is food.

Sometimes I think these government boneheads just sit around and dream of things to do instead of fix the economy.

Look, if you ask me and I know you didnt...I dont think any kids should be having sugar or cigerettes.

Just let them run around and and be healthy.

You know what else is healthy? Paying taxes if your a rich person or a middle class person...

You provide the stimulus needed to keep all these kids running around.

Like GE. GE runs on my husband's handouts of your taxmoney and the CEO does not even have to pay a dime in taxes...

Mitt Romney, he makes too much money and pays too much taxes and gives too much to charity...

But GE's CEO, who is one of my husband's senior advisors, makes even more and has not paid taxes in years...or at least his company hasn't.

HA!

Aint that a mind-fuck?

Now, what does this have to do with suger?

Well, suger, or sucrose, is like energy and energy is synomiomisis with stimulus!

Get it?!

Did you hear that I once made hundreds of thousands of dollars a year as a board member for a hospitial or something?

I wasn't even qualified! Aint that some shit?

HA!

Yeah it's a good thing job growth hasn't gone up and unemployment hasn't dropped right?

Oh wait....

Thank you Michelle Obama for saving ourselves from ourselves. I've had enough of our overbearing government and I have a feeling I'm not alone. Freedom is not our government holding our hands and telling us what we can and can't do. The government are not our parents and there is no need for them to take care of us. We can do that ourselves just fine.

What?

Its amazing how when they drop millions of people from the unemployment list for being unemployed too long, the unemployment rate goes down...cause, you know, those people no longer exist.

somebody should regulate the government.

Posted By: The Bias Ref (Guest)  on February 04, 2012 at 08:09 AM

Regulating marijuana which isnt addictive and causes little to no health issues and putting people in prison = good

Regulating processed foods which are addictive and contribute to the nation's most costly health issues = bad

Makes perfect sense

OMG THANK YOU!

Know how many times me and my fiance sat around thinking "what do we want to eat"... now... the government can just tell us! Thanks Obama!

Sugar isn't the real enemy here just the next in line to be taken down by a competitor.

What do they use to fatten pigs, chicken, cows and other farm animals?

What is much sweeter than cane sugar and in most processed foods, candies, etc in supermarkets.

What has derivative ingredients in almost every food in restaurants, store shelves, etc?

Citric acid, cellulose, xanthan gum, vitamin C in foods?

All derived from corn (quite a bit gentically altered to a super corn). It fattens cows and definitely is being used to fatten us. It's why the corn industry when confronted with the dangers of high fructose corn syrup changed its name to corn sugar. There's no doubt in my mind if a sugar tax is enacted they'll stop referring to it as a sugar and start referring to it as a naturally sweetened vegetable.

Yeah, based on your response and lack of grammar, it figures you wouldn't want to hear anyone who is from college.

It might hurt your brain.
