Romney Opens Up Big Leads In Colorado, Santorum Up In Minnesota
Posted by Ashish on 02.05.2012

Some interesting new poll numbers from Public Policy, particularly in Minnesota where they actually have Rick Santorum leading. Somebody better stop Romney in Minnesota, because he is rolling in Colorado and if he wins both, this thing will wrap up quicker than Newt Gingrich is letting on.

* Minnesota: Santorum 29%, Romney 27%, Gingrich 22%, Paul 19%
* Colorado: Romney 40%, Santorum 26%, Gingrich 18%, Paul 12%

Look, Romney is cool and all and Imma let you finish the primary, but I just want to tell you that Obama is gonna end up being re-elected president.

Seriously, folks, do you people honestly believe Romney is going to win? I highly doubt it and if he does, then I will eat my hat, take a slice of crow cake, and scarf down a piece of humble pie. I'm not above in admitting that I'm wrong when I happen to be buuuut...considering this? Say hello to a 2012-2016 Obama Administration for me ;)

Oh and let's address something here, shall we? For all of you who argue that gay marriage "violates the sanctity of marriage" allow me to point something out:

Sanctity - the state of being holy, *sacred*, or saintly.

Sacred - (1)Connected with God(or the gods) or to a *religious* purpose. (2) *Religious* rather than secular. (3) Embodying the laws or doctrines of a *religion*. (4) Regarded with great respect and reverence by a particular *religion*, group or individual.

Now the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution reads:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of *RELIGION*

So not only is the anti-gay marriage argument invalid, it's unconstitutional. We all know Romney is going to be an opponent against it so...yeah. Have fun with an unconstitutional president, if he wins anyway.

Suckers!

Wow... Santorum is doing well in Colorado and Paul is doing poorly? You all really do like having people TELL YOU how to live your lives don't you? That's the fundamental message of this election: be a slave who is a snide douche to free willed individuals, or have free will support free will and lose. Fuck.

In other news the economy is doing better and Obama is beating all of these idiots in a new CBS poll.

You think these rednecks and mentally challenged republicans are mad now....just WAIT until Obama wins re-election!!

Maybe Texas will be the first to secede in 2013!

Not to mention, over 50% of straight marriages END in divorce. The way anti-gay rights people make it sound, a straight man and a straight woman getting married in Vegas after meeting drunk in a bar 6 hours before is more 'sacred' than a gay couple who is in love and want to spend their lives together.

Plus, pretty sure that divorce is frowned upon in religious circles, but I don't see the hardcore religious community fighting to outlaw divorce. It's homophobia, plain and simple. Seriously, what 2 consenting, in love adults do behind closed doors is nobody elses business (straight or gay), doesn't affect my life any, so what is th big freakin' deal over allowing gay marriage?

hey at least they don't have the public policy poll in missouri that has gingrinch leading the non-binding primary, except there is oh one huge glaring problem the ppp should've checked before they released the poll, and that is i don't know maybe the fact newt isn't on the ballot in missouri, i mean a little research people. plus you know why the right-wing is against gay people, maybe you should read the bible, why do you think sodom and gomarah was destroyed, because part of it was oh i don't know men were lying with men and remember when the angel came, what the men asked, it was where did that man go, so gee maybe if you would look at the bible people would you realize god doesn't approve of that lifestyle

And the bible also says that I can own slaves and that I can beat them within an inch of their lives. Sounds like a pretty good source of morality -- if you live in the dark ages.
