Tonight's debate does seem to stand out as the most important Presidential debate in awhile. Obama had already distanced himself from McCain considerably in 2008 by the time the debates rolled around, lessening the impact they had. But tonight, we essentially go into the debate with the race tied nationally.
Here are my thoughts on what both sides will need to do tonight...
