The Murmur of Crow: Cartoon Punch
Posted by Brandon Crow on 03.15.2007

As much as I like reading and writing about politics, I've always enjoyed a good, muscular political cartoon. Some times, it seems, a masterful picture really is worth a thousand words. I often cruise the editorial pages of newspapers across this country to look for solid, expert cartoons that pack a more skillful yet abrasive punch than words can.

With this in mind, I've hereby collected some of my favorite political cartoons regarding some of the biggest news items in the past couple of weeks. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have.

John Sherffius, Colorado, Boulder Daily Camera

Sandy Huffaker, Cagle Cartoons

Clay Jones, Virginia, The Freelance-Star

Pat Bagley, Utah, Salt Lake Tribune

Justin Bilicki, New York

Steve Breen, San Diego Union Tribune

Mark Streeter, Georgia, The Savannah Morning News

M.E. Cohen, Humorlink.com

And speaking of Walter Reed...

Pat Bagley, Utah, Salt Lake Tribune

Steve Sack, Minnesota, Minneapolis Star Tribune

Corky Trinidad, Hawaii, Honolulu Star Bulletin

Steve Greenberg, California, The Ventura County Star

Doug Marlette, Florida, The Tallahassee Democrat

Adam Zylis, New York, The Buffalo News

John Sherffius, Colorado, Boulder Daily Camera

Till next week, In Crow We Trust.
