Hillary, Kill Bill!

How Bill Clinton is hurting his wife and making Obama stronger...
Back when it was released I bought and read Bill Clinton's book. One of the interesting points he made was based on a conversation he had with Richard Nixon. Nixon told Mr. Clinton to not have his wife play such a big role in the 92 campaign because it makes you look weak when your spouse is always defending and representing you.
I think it is time for Hillary to take Nixon's advice. After winning New Hampshire, Hillary famously proclaimed that she found her voice in New Hampshire. Oh really? Why is it that all I hear is Bill's voice?
Bill is usually good at defending the Democratic Party. When he challenged Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday on why the network never questions the Bush Administration on what they did to prevent 9/11 he looked like a genius. However, lately, he has looked like a jackass.
It all started when he falsely stated that he opposed the war from the start. Does he think the American people are that stupid? His latest blunder was promising to tone it down only to compare Barack Obama to Jesse Jackson. All Bill Clinton had to say after South Carolina was that John Edwards won it four years ago and still lost the nomination. But no, he had to compare Obama to Jesse because his goal appears to label Obama as the black candidate instead of a candidate who happens to be black. Obama is far more of a credible candidate than Jackson based on his ability to raise money and have a significant support of whites.
Americans liked Bill Clinton. Note the use of the past tense. They liked you Bill but Americans don't like three terms. Hillary was doing fine without you. She can take care of herself. She is a big girl. You are making her look like she needs a man to defend her which does nothing to advance the cause of the women's movement or the odds that my daughter may one day be president.
Instead of toning it down, time to tone out.
Before I tone out there is a chance for you to comment on my opinion. Keep two things in mind…
1. I am an independent. I lean all sorts of ways on all sorts of issues. Declaring me as 411's conservative columnist is wrong. You'll never figure me out because I can't figure myself out. I voted for Badnarik in 04 because I didn't like Bush or Kerry. In 06 I didn't vote for Spitzer but I voted for Hillary. Can we get past the labels and debate opinions? In my career at 411 I have been labeled a communist, liberal, neo con, conservative, baby killer (my favorite), I can't possibly be all.
2. Many times my opinion is stupid, when it is stupid, feel free to elaborate.
opinions are welcomed. Because everyone should have one

saying you're an independant pisses people off because then they don't know how
to label you, and, thus, do not know which side you are on. like George
Washington said,"Fuck parties." (I think that's the quote, verbatim)

don't worry Joe, that's why i like u and all the writers on all the zones, and
escpically here in the poltics, as there are writers like u who even though
your an independent i agree with u about 80% of the time, then there's the
scottsman who sometimes i want to scream with what he writes about republicans.
Keep up the good work Joe
