Hillary Clinton Loses It

Are we seeing the Clinton campaign hit panic mode?
The video above features Hillary Clinton more or less losing it today in Ohio, ranting and comparing Barack Obama's campaign strategy to that of Karl Rove's Republican strategies. She even acted like it was some sort of shock that Obama was debating the healthcare issue with her, asking since when do Democrats argue over healthcare. Is she serious? She has been attacking Obama on healthcare since Iowa, claiming Obama would leave people uncovered and that his healthcare plan wasn't really universal.
But I think the most telling part of this is at the end when, like a mother yelling at her child, she said "shame on you, Barack Obama." The words were bad, but her delivery of them is what could make this video the "Dean Scream" of 2008. She came off like a spoiled little girl who isn't getting her way. People tend to flock to winners and watching that video leaves little doubt as to who is winning. Anger rarely ever works in political races. People tend to prefer their Presidents to be calm and likable. The Obama camp has to be all smiles about this because it shows that not only is Clinton letting Obama get to her, she is obviously very rattled and unsure of how to respond. She tried to play up the sympathy card at the debate and said she is honored to be on stage with Barack Obama, and now today, she pulls a 180 and goes on attack mode and scolds Barack Obama for Karl Rove-type tactics.
And just to get the facts straight, the two mailers Clinton was upset about and claimed were false are actually both true. Clinton's healthcare plan WILL force people to buy in or face a penalty and Clinton, as part of the Clinton administration (which she says she was part of and uses as part of her experience), not only supported NAFTA but passed it. Bill Clinton was one of the most vocal supporters of NAFTA in the 90s and Clinton has written about her support of NAFTA in her book. It seems like a major blunder on her part to bring more attention to this issue since she did infact support NAFTA (NAFTA is a big issue in Ohio where many people feel that it cost them their jobs).
Clinton really needs to decide whether she wants to play for sympathy votes like she did at the debate or whether she wants to go all out on the attack like she did today, because going back and forth each day seems to do little good.
Look for things to get really ugly from her side at the debate in Ohio on Tuesday.

Does Hillary think voters are stupid? Her rant was filmed in OHIO, where they
have lost more than 200K jobs to NAFTA. Does she really think all those
families don’t know who passed that legislation into law, and they are well
aware that she supported it. Rather than casting a negative light on Obama, she
has made herself look foolish and only drawn MORE attention to her support of
NAFTA.
She must have seen something in her internal polling today, showing that she’s
crashing in OHIO and Texas, so she launched into this pathetic gambit that is
only going to make her fall swifter and more dramatic.

Since obviously you are not for Hillary, I wonder where is the positive campaign
your side advertises it runs?

Cry, cry, & cry some more you miserable shrew. To me, her voice (among
being hoarse almost all the time now) just seems to drip with desperation. I
wish that after she looses the nomination she fades into oblivion. Of course
that wont happen. She to be one of those people that absolutely MUST feel like
she is "relevant" in order to go on living. Classic.

Yep, looks like Obama's going to win the Democractic nomination and be elected
president in the fall. I mean look, she's a loose cannon in that video. That's
how people act when they're loosing. And McCain? He has ZERO credibility on the
special interest groups he claims to fight against because he's hung with
lobbyists in the past not to mention that he's pretty chummy with an
increasingly unpopular president and has pledged to continue an unpopular war
in Iraq. This is going to be easy choice people.

What a Jekyl-Hyde display. Maybe it's just as well that Hillary doesn't want to
meet with adversarial foreign leaders. At the first meeting, she'd be full of
hand shakes and praise. Then two days later it'd be a temper turnabout.

It's funny that Hitlary is accusing Obama of doing what she has done since
campaigning has began. She is going to be a sore loser. I wonder if she is
going to demand a recount??

Again, remember that these materials have been circulated for up to week in
Ohio. That she just now noticed them sounds like a very false reaction and
terrible advice from her handlers.

Shame on you, Hillary!

My favorite thing is actually the yes-man in the background. Watch as he nods at
everything, thrill as he looks where Hilary does!

Shame on Hillary. Remember the mailers and autobot calls she made in Nevavda? If
you debate Obama on Nafta and your healthcare plan this is a debate you will
surely lose. The caption for this video should read: Hitlary Rotten Clinton
Tirade!!!

Hillary Clinton had absolutely NO intention of conducting a "civil"
campaign. There was NO civility during Bill's two terms so why should we expect
any from her? She's seeing her plan of being the populist brought to fruition by
BARAK. Videos like this are JUST the beginning. NOW we are seeing the REAL
Hillary and for that matter the REAL democrats. NOTHING but hot air and LIES.

The worst part of the video for my mind is the Governor of Ohio in the
background nodding his head like a bobble head doll at these accusations. He
wants to be VP badly enough to look like he's had a psychotic break.

This is a race. She's fighting for what she believes in. Everyone knows she'd do
a better job but people like obama vibe better. If Obama gets elected he will
lose the race. So will Hillary actually. Sad truth.

You don't know that.
Posted By: Gman (Guest) on February 24, 2008 at 10:44 PM
I think it's awesome she's melting down. I really hope she loses it and shoots
Bill and herself in the fucking head during a national press conference. That
would be about right for a Democrat anyway...when the going gets tough, freak
the fuck out.

Uh oh, Hillary's gone off the deep end. I think she may need medication :(
