Quick Notes On IN/NC Voting So Far...
Posted by Ashish on 05.06.2008

- Turnout is huge in both states, especially North Carolina.

- A LOT of Republicans are crossing over to vote in the primary in Indiana. Most suspect that they are doing so as part of Rush Limbaugh's "Operation Chaos" and will thus vote for Hillary Clinton in an effort to keep the race going. Indiana looks like Clinton's to lose at this point, and she could hit double digits there.

- A few leaked internal numbers are already going around, and early exit polling should start making rounds any minute. Be warned that these early numbers have been wrong almost every time this year so far. They were notably wrong in PA, OH, TX, WI, NJ, CA, MA, and elsewhere, so don't put too much stock on them.

- The only early number that will really tell us anything is the percentage of African Americans voting in North Carolina. If it is larger than 33%, that's really good news for Obama. If it's 31% or lower, that could set things up for a Clinton upset.

This Operation Chaos bothers me to no end..Clinton knows this is going on..and yet spins this as though it is some upset victory.

Eric,
That this hanky-panky is loved and relished by Hillary is further proof to all decent americans that the White House seat and even the bed that Monica soiled matter more to Hillary Clinton than the future of our people. What more evidence can we need that she is absolutely unworthy of ever setting foot, belly or butt there again? God bless America.

Baron;
I just hope we are spared "the Clinton Cackle" for the next four years...If I wanted to hear that I would just pop in Mars Attacks.
