Yes, please be respectful.
I don't care if you didn't approve of Snow's politics, taking delight in his death is simply disgusting. Tony Snow never did anything to deserve a long battle with cancer. Someone simply being on the other side of a political ideology should not warrant such hatred.
As a person who considers themself a Liberal, I am disgusted with the people who claim the same mantle yet act totally opposite of everything that concept stands for when something horrible happens to someone "playing for the other team".
Think what you will of Keith Olbermann, but I think he set the example today of how a true class act Liberal should approach this event.
Keith on Tony's death...
"Tony Snow was an optimistic, funny, and courageous man who could set aside his politics and inspire others to do the same. It might surprise many at all political points, but while we could not have disagreed more on policy, we were in frequent contact, even during his days as Press Secretary, even as I was criticizing his work and he was — in his own words — yelling at the screen as he watched. It was with great sadness that I heard of his death today, and with sincerity I extend my condolences and my staff's to his family. In the best of us, there is a difference between the message and the messenger, and Tony Snow epitomized that."
