Biden Would Make Good VEEP
Posted by Bryant Daniels on 08.18.2008

Following a quickly put together trip to Georgia, Washington buzz has surrounded Delaware Senator Joe Biden as the possible front-runner for the VP position on the Democratic ticket. A former presidential candidate himself, Biden would add both experience on the national political stage as well as experience with foreign policy, two things presumptive democratic nominee Barrack Obama has been accused of lacking. But it's not just his resume that makes Biden an attractive running mate, it's his straight-talking, no nonsense approach to politics. Despite having the status of a long time Washington insider, Biden's style can overcome the "politics as usual" stigma that has handcuffed the democratic veep search.

As a Delaware resident this idea has always excited me and at the same time scared me... can Delaware really afford to lose are lone influencial factor in national politics? and what would happen in DE then? Senator Ruth Ann Minner? that would be really unfortunate... she has had a terrible run as Gov., and as a senator she would only be worse. either as Veep or Sec. of State, Delaware has a lot to lose if we lose Biden.
