Yeah, we're only drowning ourselves in debt and killing the dollar right now. What harm can come from a few hundred billion more in new spending? We'll just make "the rich" pay for it...

Whats wrong with taxing the useless celebrities and sports stars more?

They earn a dispportionate amount of income. Why is no one targeting them.
And no Hollywood wont die. Just dont tax those who ACTUALLY make a movie great like the producers, directors and writers....

And if the large tax makes no one want to be an actor/musician/super-star athlete. Then ok. It wont really be that big a deal to society anyway

Well, someone has to fix the problems caused by the current president. How do you think USA will pay the debt, by conjuring money out of thin air? No, the citizens of the country must pay through taxes. The next president will have to make some very unpopular decisions to remedy the situation. It doesn't matter whether it's Obama or McCain that becomes the next president.

Then who's gonna pay for fixing the country, Connolly? The middle class? I'm sure they can afford it much more than the rich because they have so much money to spare, y'know.

Honestly, it's like you're a big sponge and they just threw you into the big red Kool-Aid vat headfirst.

It's amazing how the jealous losers want to take from the winners because they're too sorry, lazy, stupid, or attitudinally challenged to get ahead. Much easier to steal from those who have actually accomplished something in their lives than to get off your duff and get your own. Buncha fuckin losers is what you are.
