A (Re)-Introduction

...or FAQs for Dave
Since these recent events in American history have brought me back here to spill my opinions upon the blogosphere, I feel it necessary to reintroduce myself to the readership of this website.
My name is Dave Schilling, and I've been involved with 411mania for 2 years, off and on. I wrote regular columns in Movies/TV, Music, Politics and even...yes, Wrestling. I have been missing from this site for awhile due to just being far too busy to write on a regular basis. Thankfully, my newfound desire to write about politics coincides with a very comfortable, regular schedule in my life. I live in Los Angeles, was educated (publically, by the way) in San Francisco and was raised in California's Central Valley. You'll be getting a lot of local political flavor from me because of that. You'll also likely see some overlap between the film industry and the political scene due to my work in film out here. As we have seen in 2008, celebrity and the business of governing often overlap.
Ideologically, I'm center-left, with some libertarian leandings. I am a self-described patriot, with an unabiding affection for the Founders. I believe in a large middle class that can exist without expensive social programs. I believe in gay marriage and a woman's right to choose. I think prostitution and marijuana should be legal and regulated. I also think public transit should be well-funded and encouraged over expanded funding for road projects, but let's not keep talking about me.
As I write more and you learn more about me, I want to learn more about you. Leave comments, feel free to e-mail me. Agree, disagree. It's your choice. There is much work to be done to save our nation. Let's have the dialogue that will allow us to come up with the solutions.

"think prostitution and marijuana should be legal and regulated."
Seems like a good place to start a debate, why not make something like this your first article? I remember having heated debates in Law classes about the pros and cons of legalising these activities
