Earlier today, middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik (32-0, 29 KOs) and company held a media workout at the Southside Boxing Gym. Pavlik was in high spirits as he prepares for his upcoming super middleweight bout against Jermain Taylor (27-1-1, 17 KOs) in a rematch of their 2007 middleweight classic that resulted in Pavlik knocking out Taylor after recovering from a 2nd round knockdown.
The rematch will take place on Saturday, February 16th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, NV and will be co-promoted by Top Rank and DiBella Entertainment.
i love how overatted jermain taylor got owned by kelly pavlik, it was also very satisfying for me how kelly proved that prick lou dibella wrong. i also won fifty bucks from the first fight so that was cool too.
