De La Hoya Rocking Houston Dynamo Colors on Saturday
Posted by Ramon Aranda on 04.29.2008

Acknowledging his newly acquired ownership in Major League Soccer's Houston Dynamo, as well as the fact that he will be fighting at the Home Depot Center's soccer stadium Saturday night, Oscar de la Hoya will accent his robe and trunks with the Dynamo's "forever orange" color for his fight against Steve Forbes. The fight will be televised live on HBO's World Championship Boxing.

"Since this is my first fight as part owner of the Dynamo, I thought it would be fitting to represent the team by wearing their 'forever orange' color as a part of my ring outfit Saturday night," said De La Hoya, who will also be wearing a Dynamo team patch on his shorts. "They are actually playing the same night I am fighting and I have a great feeling we will both come out victorious."
