The fight is on with both fighters making weight.

LAS VEGAS, NV -- With a filled up and rowdy crowd at the MGM Grand Garden Arena cheering their respective fighter, Antonio Margarito and Miguel Cotto both stepped on the scales this afternoon and matched each other's weight at 147-pounds. Looking ripped and devoid of any fat, the two fighters rallied their countrymen for support and delighted the fans in attendance with some words of encouragement.

Now with the weights out of the way, we simply wait another 24 hours before their mega showdown at the MGM Grand here in Sin City. The HBO PPV telecast begins tomorrow at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT through your local cable or satellite provider. I can tell you by the response these two men got today that the crowd tomorrow will be electric, with the Puerto Rico vs. Mexico rivalry in full effect and welterweight supremacy, it's a fight no boxing fan will want to miss.
