“Winky” Wright vs. Michi Munoz December 4th Fight and Card Cancelled

Wright suffers injury and is forced to pull out.
Golden Boy Promotions CEO, Richard Schaefer has announced that the fight between former junior middleweight champ "Winky" Wright and Michi Munoz has been cancelled due to Wright injuring his left hand during sparring. As a result the entire card, which was scheduled to be held at the Snoualmie Casino in Snoqualmie, Washington and aired on the Versus network, has been cancelled as well with no plans for rescheduling at this time.
Wright had the following to say regarding his injury:
"I'm very disappointed about having to pull out of this fight on December 4th, and I'd like to apologize to all my fans, Snoqualmie Casino and VERSUS, I was feeling real sharp in camp and I was looking forward to a great performance before getting hurt. I promise that I'll be back and better than ever in 2009."
