Jesse Brinkley Heads To D.C For Bout This Saturday Night

Jesse Brinkley, who is ranked #11 by the IBF, is ready to battle James Johnson on December 20th. The two fighters will exchange leather for a scheduled six round bout in the Burr Arena in Washington, D.C.

Johnson brings a record of 23-30-3 (13 KO).

"I've been training in Rhode Island with Peter Manfredo Sr. since September but this fight will give me an opportunity to shake a little rust off", said Brinkley 31-5-0 (21 KO).

If everything goes as planned the young prospect will be set for a city grudge match against Joey Gilbert on Saturday, February 14th. "Civil War", as the card is headlined, is set for Saturday, February 14th at the Reno Events Center, NV.
