Update on Jorge Arce

The former champ released from the hospital.
According to Lee Samuels of Top Rank, Jorge Arce was taken to a local hospital for observation then released. Arce added that he's just experiencing the usual "aches and pains from a fight" but seems to be ok.
Earlier today, Arce talked about plans to head to Miami to get on a cruise ship before leaving to the Carribean. "First stop is Puerto Rico where I hope to see my good friends Miguel Cotto and Ivan Calderon," said Arce.
In regards to the fight, Arce said, "I really wanted to go all 12 rounds." He plans on continuing with his career "at least one more time."
ARCE,really did great to his fight. i can say he is so condition fighter because he didnt down and survive the rounds despite of vicious attacks of darchinyan. even though he didnt win the fight, i still idolize you for your great perseverance and attitude as a fighter. although darchinyan dominated you well, but you came to fight and exchanging punching bombs with vic. im happy you survive the round...

It only shows that darchinyan has more talks than his action. He cant do what he can say. Arce showed how soft Darchinyan punch is.

I really wanted arce to win just to shut vic up. I guess it'll have to be Nonito again.

I believe that Arce is still very much capable of another fight.The good thing is that he didn't suffered a knock down unlike Mijares...

Arce will always be the best warrior in the ring, bloody and beaten he wont fall. Thats a true warrior right there! Vics naturally the faster a bit stronger puncher in the fight plus his awkward fighting style, Arce couldn't answer the riddle in Vics punches but never fell to it aswell.

arce has just to be more foucsed if he wants to fight again. donaire vs. arce could be one of the best fights in the flyweight division. if darchinyan's promoter Shaw hypocritically blocks donaire vs. darchinyan fight. darchinyan is only good on threats but could not knockdown a way smaller arce. who's next for darchinyan? maybe his promoter!

Honestly, I dont like Darchinyan. I wanted Arce to win the fight to shut his mouth! Then, agin I guess Nonito will permanently shut his mouth for good!

I really wanted Vic Darchinyan to loose and got KO because he's so really cocky and over confident. He should beat Donaire first before talk of his wins over the 'least' opponents. He was chicken-wobbly when KO by Nonito. Stop dreaming Vic, you're beatable and not a great boxer. Try to be humble. You asshole!
