[UFC] Spike TV confirms status of UFC 72

Will UFC 72 be on PPV or free after all...

Spike TV recently confirmed to 411mania that UFC 72 (taking place in Belfast, Northern Ireland on June 16) will not be airing on Spike TV as previously speculated. This leaves PPV as the most likely alternative, though the possibility of the event airing on HBO is technically still an option.

The UFC's website currently has UFC 72 listed as airing on PPV live at 3pm EST / 12pm PST.
