Yesterday afternoon, Jamaica stunned Mexico 1-0 during their FIFA World Cup qualifying match. Ricardo Fuller scored in the 14th minute denying Mexico the opportunity to advance immediately to the final phase.

With the win, Jamaica has a total of four points in Group B of the CONCACAF qualifiers. Mexico remains with nine points after their first loss of the qualifying stages.

Mexico defeated Jamaica 3-1 last month in a match originally scheduled for Kingston. The sites were switched because of the hurricane in the islands.

Jamaica will now take on Honduras on Wednesday and finish up with Canada in November while Mexico plays Canada this Wednesday and Honduras next month.
