Sunday was not the day of promise that it usually is. I was up at 8am to go to work. Which sucked. By the time I got home all I had to look forward to was the little things. Snuggling up next to my wife, enjoying a belated Sunday dinner and watching 48 Hrs. I was never a big fan but I've been told I was wrong so I gave it another try. Still not a big fan. Don't really see what the fuss is about. Eddie Murphy is just learning his way around a camera and Nick Nolte just doesn't strike me as a lead. Oh well, that's one of those movies I'll just have to agreed to disagree with people on.
Wrote part of the Thursday news column with a bit on pop stars who were successful as movie stars. I really can't believe the list I came up with. And I wrote it!
Late into the evening I scoped out a few online stories. Read Cracked and just generally goofed around on Filmaffinity (getting recommendations) and ummed and aahhed about possible blu ray purchases. I want several movies on blu ray but what if I'm not that into them? Then its just a waste of money. Like it would have been if I'd dropped cash for Kick Ass, which I like but not enough to buy it. At least the last thing I bought, Band of Brothers, is working out for me. |
