The past three days I've spent drinking and watching what could arguably end up being the two best films of the year. I was drinking Marston's Old Empire, which is just evil and gave me such a bad hangover I spent most of today asleep. I didn't even drink that much of it! That stuff is lethal.
The movies were Inception and Black Swan. Both movies have a similar theme. That being you can never be sure what's happening in a movie is real. Inception with dreams and Black Swan with hallucinations. I think I like Inception better as it goes further and makes you question everything. But two superb movies. Natalie Portman should win an Oscar for her performance too. She's amazing. Utterly convincing. |
