| TV shows I've been watching... |

I've been totally into catching up on TV shows recently. Here's where I am with the shows in question:
1. The Wire. Three episodes into series 3. Last episode I caught was "Dead Soldiers", which featured a wake in a bar. The characters are still strong into series 3 but I get the feeling there's a lot more to come from this season.
2. My Name is Earl. Series three is down. I only have one season to go now. My take on series 3 was that neither the prison or the coma really worked as well as it could have done. And the conclusion just takes us right back to where we were. Certainly the weakest of the 3 series thus far. Although Michael Rappaport was awesome.
3. The Walking Dead. Only two episodes in but Michael Rooker has turned up to convince me I need to watch this show regularly. Its hard to imagine where they're going with this seeing as the camp featured for the survivors looks strangely safe and yet it surely can't stay that way.
4. Big Bang Theory. 12 episodes into series 1. Latest episode watched was "The Jerusalem Duality". In which Sheldon just completely owned the entire episode with his theory that if they re-built Jerusalem in Mexico then all the Jews would go there instead and fighting in the Middle East would stop. Sheldon has gone from being a character I didn't get to being my favourite character on the show in the space of half a season.
As you can see I've been quite busy. I've not reviewed any wrestling since before Xmas and keep forgetting to check up on various 411 roundtables. Well, it is a combination of this and work making me so tired all I want to do is watch TV. I think that's how humanity is so easily controlled. |
