Redje did me the courtesy of buying the entire Wire and lending me series 3 so I didn't have to keep renting it on disc at a time. So I rocked my way through 5 episodes or so given it was my day off. Series 3 is really strong, like the first two, although Avon Barksdale ever so slightly rubs me up the wrong way. Like he doesn't understand the world anymore. But then he has been in jail for 2 years so it kinda makes sense and you need antagonism.
So that filled out most of my off day around writing the Thursday news and watching Arsenal-Man City. Boo @ Mancini yet again for sending out a team for a draw like the home game against Man Utd. I hate negative Italian tactics. Hate them. No other Italian coach has deliberately brought in that boring negative approach so I hoping Mancini wins nothing so it can be considered a failure. I was really hoping Arsenal would hammer them anyway. Nuovo rich trash.
