| So the PS3 has been hacked, and it seems a number of people are doing everything they can to exploit it. Now, hacking just for the sake of hacking is wrong in my opinion. What is there really to gain for the gaming community? When it comes to something like this, most of the victims of this are the legit members of the gaming community. The people that pay full price for games, accessories, whatever. When other people resort to ripping off software who are the ones that get the brunt of the companies retaliation? The legit gaming community, that's who. Sure video game technology has improved over the years and costs more to produce. But not by that much. When companies know that a certain percentage is going to be stolen, up go the prices. I would not be surprised the day games reach $100 each. Hackers say they are doing this for other gamers, but everyone knows that is complete and total BS! The only person it benefits is themselves. The fact remains that they are also stealing, yes STEALING, people's hard work. Work that sole purpose is to try to bring enjoyment to as many people as possible. Can I get behind that. No I can't. |
