Woke up to hear my wife tapping away at her laptop conversing with someone on the other side of the globe. Ain't technology wonderful? In order to get my brain going slowly I slip in some My Name is Earl and watch that while Maria continues to type away laughing from time to time. Likewise from myself until Maria notices what I'm watching and puts the PC down. She's a big Joy fan.
Work was ok, needed to get a lot done and I think we did. Friday is the big horrible nasty day but provided everything gets there when its supposed to we'll be cool. I hope. My former boss and his boss are swinging by early on Saturday, which could be a bit of a nightmare.
Post work it was back to Earl. I'm starting to run out of Earl episodes that I've not seen. I'm down to season 4, which I have on DVD. Maria heads off to bed around midnight leaving me two hours to check out Blue Valentine. After watching the Green Hornet the previous night I felt I should check out something more worthwhile. Its a good movie. I found it to be a bit of a downer but Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling are both terrific so it wasn't a lost cause. |
