Hi kids.

Once again I've slipped in my bloggery. This is down to two things. 1. The visit of my brothers from the US. They're from the great state of Texas. 2. My gammy leg has had me in and out of hospital for tests, draining, dressing changes and urgh. Staph infection sounds like nothing until you've got one halfway up your thigh.

So what have I been up to?

Finished series 4 of My Name is Earl. I'm guessing they had an inkling they'd be cancelled after ripping on TV, the network and their experimental series 3 during the last but one episode. The final 20 minutes is routinely disappointing although the cliffhanger is surprisingly hilarious. On the whole I enjoyed series 4. It was certainly better than all those damn coma episodes in series 3. But I can see why its gone. They just weren't creative enough during season 4. Didn't really make enough use of the characters they had. Apart from Darnell. I'll miss the show. It was an entertaining four years. Although I'm certain if they'd avoided that whole coma storyline in series 3 they'd still be on the air.

Finished series 4 of IT Crowd. There were a few chuckles to be had there. I find it hard going from American to English TV because it exposes just how few episodes there are in a series. I feel like I'm just getting a handle on the characters when the series finishes. Reynolm in particular who's brilliant in the final episode having improved since being introduced in series 2.

I've seen a bunch of movies but they'll be reviewed in the news report on Thursday. I must have seen 6 or 7 films already and there are still 2 days to go.
