Thank you for registering at 411mania.com. Please understand the following before proceeding.

We certainly hope your stay here is enjoyable, and you find good friends, fun, and conversation amongst the myriad of postings and threads that is our site.

We try to give our posters as much leeway as we can when discussing topics on the Forum, however, some topics, words, behavior, and innuendo cannot and will not be tolerated by 411mania.com.

Sometimes, a staffer on the Forum, easily identified by a colored username and/or a little "M" or "A" flag on their name, may intervene in a thread when a Forum Rule has been broken. Our Mods are instructed to step and stop any thread that falls outside the guidelines of good taste, friendliness, or what you that a thread represents. Obviously, this definition is subject to debate, but the final word is the one of the Forums Moderator or Administrator.

The following is a set of rules that are posted for your viewing, and must be obeyed at all times while visiting and user the 411mania.com Fan Forums. If a poster does not agree to these conditions, then disciplinary action in the Forum will be taken, which can range from a simple warning to account revocation.

The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this forum or any entity associated with this forum. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately. Although this forum does not and cannot review the messages posted and is not responsible for the content of any of these messages, we at this forum reserve the right to delete any message for any or no reason whatsoever. Administrators of this forum have access to any and all messages posted on this board, regardless of their public and/or private nature. Moderators have access to postings of a public nature in the Forums to which they are assigned only.

RULES (In no particular order of importance)

1. Advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are inappropriate on this forum. No ads in posts! Simple, ONE LINE mentions of a product, service, or website are allowed in signatures. This includes posts that encourage posters to surf away from 411mania.com or any of its Zones.

2. Personal attacks on a poster are prohibited. If you wish to attack a posters post, theories, ideas, musical preference, or what have you...fine. Attacking them as a person as a tactic in the thread is against the rules, and you will be banned for it. If you are attacked, and attack back...YOU TOO are guilty. Two wrongs do not make a right. The only exception to this is the poster known as Dream. He is fair game

3. No pornography in the Forums.

4. No swearing in the topic Subject Line. Swearing, within reason, in allowed in the body of a text.

5. 411mania.com and its staff consider the entire Internet its "extended family". Therefore, posts that denigrate any other Forum or Website in a malicious, non comedic way will be deleted, and the poster disciplined. We know the difference between funny, and just plain mean.

6. Spamming and/or trolling the Forums is prohibited.

7. No images in the signatures! Small, smittie sized images are acceptable.

8. You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law.

9. ONE screen name per user. If you wish to open an account for use in the E-Fed, it must be cleared with a Moderator.

10. Signatures can be no bigger than 10 lines! Forum Administrators also reserve the right to edit and alter signatures as they see fit in accordance with the rules, without warning, in extreme cases.

11. Instruction from a Moderator or Admin MUST be heeded.

WARNINGS AND BANNINGS

You will be warned ONCE for a rule infraction, as interpreted by a Moderator or an Administrator or Staffer. After that, you will be banned for no less than 2 weeks. A second ban is indefinite, and can only be revoked by a Forum Administrator. Threads involving the dispute of a warning or ban are unwanted and will be deleted without warning. Use email to email a Mod or Admin to address disciplinary actions.

WE LOG ALL IP #s AND BREAKING ANY OF THE RULES OUTLINED ABOVE CAN RESULT IN LEGAL ACTION AGAINST YOU!
