Doug Williams vs "The whitest man in America" The American Dragon
      #4868207 - 05/19/04 06:57 PM

2/3 falls. Just awesomeness, Doug Williams impresses me everytime I watch him and Brian Danielson is one of those guys I know is gonna be a mainstay for years to come in New Japan (I'd say America too but with only one major company and their emphasis on look over style it isn't gonna happen sadly).

Doug Williams needs to be picked up for the main event scene in TNA pronto TONTO!

As soon as Major_Tom sees this, he'll agree with you 100% but include something about Mark Burchill too

That said, Williams is a great wrestler and would fit into the TNA scene (at least) very well.

BURCHILL RUULLLZZZZZ!!!!!!!!

In all seriousness though I'd like to see Burchill develop a bit more in FWA before he packs off to the states (and I have no doubt that he'll get there).

Doug Williams is a finished product though. He's ready for the big leagues, or at least the TNA main event. Doug seems to be able to work any style, even clasic World of Sport and would surely be a big player in TNA if given the chance.

It'd probably get hin the exposure he needs for a good WWE run too.

Bleh, he'd flounder in the WWE and suffer from Ravenites (small fish-ocean) that's why I said TNA. Get him in at the ground floor in the main event scene, he'd fit in perfectly there *sigh* fantasy booking

Talk was of Birchell being brought over for a few ROH shows (this was when he debuted) but nothing's come of it since then

You may well be right about Williams in the WWE right now but if he had better exposure in the US and some of those kick-arse WWE promo films, hell even just some of those kick-arse promo films I think he could do very well.

I'd love to see Burchill in RoH, preferably destroying Samoa Joe to bring the RoH title to the UK in revenge for Daniels taking the FWA strap to the US. Come to think of it that sort of storyline cound to great buisiness for both companies.

Seen Williams a number of times and he is excllent.

I watched him have a classic against Eddy Gurerreo during Eddies time "between WWE jobs" and last year as well at Bethnal Greens York Hall.

He should be in the WWE. He and Beniot would put any other two wrestlers to shame.
