Question is the Make Her Say the best remix of the worst song ever? I hate Lady GaGa's song with a passion but I dig Kid Cudi, Kanye's and Common's version.

Quote: Dr. Dre Delays Detox... Again Posted by Ashish on 10.09.2009
Says he is lacking motivation....
Dr. Dre has once again delayed his long-awaited Detox album, telling ABC News (via NME) that it won't come out until at least 2010, citing lack of motivation for the delays.
"Hopefully, I'll get it done at the end of this year, and we can hear it next year," he said.
The album was originally supposed to be released in 2004 but has been constantly delayed.
This shit is never going to come out. At this point he might as well not bother. Citing a lack of motivation, he's better off not dropping the album than to come out with some half assed garbage.

Keith Murray and Canibus released "The Undergods"; 7 track album.
I've heard better from both but it's nice to see Keith Murray back to doing what he does best instead of dropping candy corn guest spots on radio tracks.

Hell yeah, I still listen to "In Rememberance of Me" and "The World Is..." on a daily basis. Fucking classics. I think he recently dropped an EP but I'm album kind of guy.
Yeah, Jay Electronica and Blu need to drop some albums already.
Blu is doing some producing, but screw that stuff. I'm greedy and need another album with Exile. Below the Heavens was the last album I could listen to straight through with no skips. Even that Juice n'Dranks track.
It's exactly the kind of hip hop that could silence the whole "all rap music is violent/sexist bullshit" criticisms.

Definitely. I've owned the Blu & Exile album for a solid year/year and a half at least. It still gets play. Dancin' in the Rain is my shit.
In fact, I think I'm going to pop that shit in right now. Good call HW. Now if you can just bring back that picture of you stalking a video game controller from out of some sort of closet type area, that would be immediate grounds for POTM consideration I'm sure.
And Common's just fine. He did his fucking time and put in his work and has a more than justifiable catalog, let the man get some fucking paper.

And that is why Mos Def continually just fucking disappoints me. Look, I get it, he did his thing with Black Star, he did his thing on his debut album. He has put himself in a position to act (which I think he's been GREAT in some stuff by the way) or play around musically and experiment, etc. to do what he wants.
I get it. It's his right. I'm all for it.
That said, he is in my top 5 in terms of spit and I love the fucking guy, he just doesn't ever bring it like he could.
Unlike this particular video, where he displays this gift. 1 out of 5 albums is hot yet guest spots and mix tapes are bananas; that ratio is ridiculous for someone with his skill set.
It's like Jamarcus Russell. Guy can chuck it with the best in the league - in the HISTORY of the league, and just doesn't want it.
It's Mos' choice, but makes me sad and I understand that it's a selfish point of view to have on the matter but it is what it is.
