so i guess i don't understand this scoring at all.
i checked it before i went to bed last nigh...all games were done, and penguin was up 1-0.
i just checked it again, i have one player playing right now who has 4 SOG, and penguin has zero player playing, but the score in our matchup has changed to 5-4.
i don't understand.

It goes by categories. If the score is 5-4 that means one team is beating the other in 5 categories to the other's 4. And since there is a total of 13 categories then the other 4 are tied. Click on MATCH-UP and you'll understand a little better.

that doesn't explain how the score goes from 1-0 to 5-4 when he doesn't have anyone playing and i have one guy playing who did nothing but get a few SOG.
other than 5-4 is the same as 1-0.

it updates almost automatically.
and there's no calming down involved, i'm not upset about it, i just don't quite get how the scoring works.

hey, my score said that I was losing 9-7 for a while there, which is odd considering that there's only 13 categories in the scoring, so I think Yahoo is just trying to work out the kinks..

Wait until there is a red IR after his name then drag him to the very bottom of your bench and an IR spot should appear.
If you want to make it easier, go to the top of your roster page where it says "roster edit type' and switch it to classic. Then when you open the drop down box of the player in question, there will be an IR listed there.

Also, after you IR a player, you will have an open roster spot to pick up a player without having to drop one.

I'm sure it'll happen to all of us at some point this season. There's never much shortage of injuries in hockey.
It's the broken bone which is really burning me right now, a certain Thrasher was producing nicely.

I've got two guys on IR and am praying someone else doesn't get hurt..at least Hossa's going to be coming back in a couple of weeks and I can stick Sedin onto IR until he's back..someone else gets hurt and I might have to do the unthinkable and draft a Maple Leaf to my roster....
