I only watched the Celtics-Cavs game last night.

That block that LeBron had on Rondo was fucking sick.

Woo Celtics 1-0. Good game, our bench is much better than last year.

Cleveland really needs to find some way to add depth to their bench, really the team just looked bad outside of LeBron. Maybe West will give a little boost when he gets back, but I don't know how much you can really expect out of him.

Seriously. If it weren't for that trade the Lakers would possibly not have Kobe but they definitely would not be title contenders. No Gasol = No title.

I was very impressed with the Celtics. I knew the biggest hole was the 2/3 backup position and it looks like Daniels will fill that void perfectly. House can now move to the 2 where he's more comfortable and Daniels can play the 1 on offense. I really like this move.

How about Barkley saying the Rockets will be the worst team in the West? I think he has something there. The Rockets really have NO weapons offensively and just seem like a rag tag group of guys.

It's just funny that the Memphis GM complained about the Bulls not giving up enough for Gasol right before giving him up for nothing. What were the Bulls offering? A dollar in cash? Seriously, what a moron. If the Bulls were offering as much as Nocioni then the Grizzlies would've been getting more than what they got.

Either way, fun start to the year so far. Does anyone else think that Carmelo Anthony looks like a whole new beast at this point this year. If he keeps this up then I think he can be a darkhorse candidate for MVP this season.

In the other game the Blazers looked pretty disjointed. If Rudy hadn't caught fire near the end Denver would have won big.

That was a fun Bulls game to watch. I really think Vinny put together a great gameplan for that game and the players did a great job in executing it. They realized that this is an older Spurs team on the second of back to back games, and they simply just ran them all game until they wore them out. It was a very good full team effort.

Even without Carter that should be a win the Pistons don't seem very good this year.

The Celtics however are 4-0

That's a weird phenomenon in sports, that sometimes one team just can't match up well with another one. WVU football has the same problem with USF Bulls, they play our team better than anyone else on a consistent basis.

Not tonight either, Bulls pull out an excellent win. They're starting to look like the Cardiac Bulls though with their close games. The only solid win they had this year was against the Spurs, and the only time they got beaten bad this year was against the Celtics. Every other game has been close. Either way, nice way to end it, LeBron creating contact then complaining when he doesn't get a foul call. From the closest angle it seemed pretty clear that the ball went out on him. Either way, that Shaq block on Miller was a foul that wasn't called, so I don't think anyone can really complain about the officiating during that game. It was a fun game to watch though. Bulls on top of the division now.

I can't believe the Jazz beat down the Spurs as they did. I don't know how I feel about the Spurs right now. They should be one of the better teams in the west with what they have, so what happened with the Jazz?

Deng did a good job in crashing the boards against the Bobcats. I like how he's being aggressive on offense, but I am getting a bit concerned about his FG shooting, which has fallen 6% in the last 2 games. I think he should be around the 50% border with his style of game. However, if he keeps shooting it, they should eventually fall on a consistent basis.

Bulls with a couple of tough losses in a row, one where they lost in controversial fashion (overhead angle makes it look clear that the ball's on his fingertips, angle from the front makes it look clear the ball was released), then they go from a good lead and scoring 60 points in the first half against the Raptors to scoring 29 points in the second half and not hitting a single field goal for more than half of the fourth quarter and losing. Not what I want to be seeing.

So who has the sicker dunk, Will Bynum on Wednesday night or D-Wade last night?

Gotta give it to Wade.

Really? Wade (6'4") is taller than Bynum (6'0") and Varejao (6'11") is shorter than Chandler (7'1") so I'd think that Bynum's is more impressive.

Sometimes stats don't tell the whole story. D-Wade's dunk was all over Varejao, while Bynum barely grazed Chandler.

D-Wade's dunk was much more vicious.

Early candidate for Dunk of the Year. Easily.

It was definitely more vicious. No question about that.

Yeah, I'll take Wade's all day, even though Bynum's was very nice, but Wade's is among the better dunks I've ever seen.
