If anyone here happens to have this game, what are your thoughts on it? Like? Dislike? Neutral?

Love it - the loot aspect is awesome, always finding guns that could be a little better than what you have, in certain situations. I keep three sniper rifles on me, plus a shotgun and assault rifle.

I didn't expect much of a story and that's pretty much what you get - there's some story there, but it's buried under a mountain of spent shells. I also didn't expect offline single player to be very addicting, but was kind of surprised to find it's still addicting. I kept wanting to quit one day, but kept finding a new weapon and thinking "okay, five more minutes"

I have to admit, when I heard it was an RPG of sorts, my mind thought "World of Warcraft" and I was leaning towards not buying it....yet it being a marriage of RPG and *FPS* just kept me thinking it wouldn't be so bad.

And it's really not. It does get a bit tedious to have to go back to certain base points to collect rewards, but that's a minor quibble at best.

It's Diablo but FPS. What more needs to be said, really?
