I saw Ric Flair vs Eric Bischoff at Starrcade '98
I also saw Ric Flair vs Carlito at a Raw in '06. Carlito is whatever, but Naitch definitely is still NAITCH. Who cares who he is in the ring with, it's fuckin' NAITCH! Great shit.
He tapped Carlito out with the figure four, the place went nuts.

I saw him in 02 when he and Austin had Austin's last match before he threw his little hissy fit and left. It was also the night Austin pissed all over Arn Anderson's legacy (and Arn Anderson).
It was a pretty sweet match, which is to be expected when you got two guys of their caliber in the same ring.

The only time I ever got to see him live was at Wrestlemania 24 in his "last" match against Michael Shawn Hickenbottom. Flair didn't do anything interesting himself in that match, as I mainly remember Shawn going through the table and super kicking flair for the last time.

I saw him at a house show in 2003 I believe it was. I wish I could say it was memorable for the match, but I can't remember who he faced, and can't for the life of me remember anything about the match other than the fact that his opponent pulled Flair's tights down and the whole arena shuddered in horror.

I saw him in 1992 here in milan during the post wrestlemania 8 european tour. it was also the first live event I ever attended. he faced davey boy smith. don't remember if it was a good match or not but I know I marked out big time.
also on the card was bret vs shawn... savage vs the mountie... LOD vs natural disasters... the rest I forgot.

Saw him at a house show in 06 in Birmingham. He and Piper were tag champs at the time. Piper was there too, the place went apeshit for them. They beat the fuck out of all five members of the Spirit Squad, and it was awesome.
I'm pretty sure I saw him again at April 07, but the only thing I remember about that show is the Cena/Michaels 1-hour classic.

I've seen him live probably 8 or so times. I was also lucky enough to meet him for a handshake and a picture at a UNC women's basketball game. (He was the honorary head coach for Senior Night, and was the only reason I was there).

I saw him live on Raw, he didn't wrestle but he challenged Shelton Benjamin for the IC title next week. What sucks is that I didn't get to see either of his matches against HHH, since the first time I had to work and the second time they taped it I think that Friday or Saturday for their New Years Eve Raw, I'm not sure what the hell I was doing.

He was in Australia with WCW for their tour in 2000. Wasn't on the actual show, just came out to pump up the crowd before nitro started. Was pretty sweet hearing his music start and the crowd starting wooing all over the place.
He cut this cool promo about how the Olympics were great, but now we'd better get ready because the nature boy and WCW were in town. Overall was pretty sweet.
Even though WCW in 2000 was usually crap, this show was sweet. Saw Goldberg, Sting, Nash, Booker, Steiner all kicking ass.

Saw him the first time in 2003 for Survivor Series as HHH's towel boy. I saw him later a house show in 2004 right after Orton turned face. It was Evolution vs. Orton/Benoit/Jerico. They did a spot where the faces pulled down the heels' trunks. Needless to say, I have seen my share of Ric Flair. The last time was the live sex between Edge and Lita. I was never so happy in my life to see since it caused Lita to pop out of bed a wee bit early also the segment was Gone with the Wind long. Its probably my best memory of him live of calling out Edge and Lita, so its good its my last.

Saw him in his first run with the WWF against Randy Savage at a house show when they were doing their whole thing. I was just a youngin at the time and didn't realize the awesomeness that was occurring in front of me.
I do remember it being an awesome match though.

I was lucky enough to see him in Charlotte several times, where he's pretty much the mayor. One of the last times, I was sitting right next to the ramp. It was the TLC match against Edge on Raw. Flair gets put through a table on the outside, and with a camera right in his face, Flair just yells, "ARRRGH GODDAMMIT!!!" It was awesome.

I've seen him 3 times live.
1. Raw in Chicago 06. This was just before the Cyber Sunday ppv. Flair was wrestling Ken Doane (Dykstra) of The Spirit Squad. Kenny came down with The Spirit Squad trying to intimidate Flair, but Flair had his own back up with Roddy Piper, Sgt. Slaughter, and Dusty Rhodes. Kenny beat Flair with a roll up while holding the tights, and The Spirit Squad jumped Flair. The Legends came down and beat the shit out of The Spirit Squad and I marked.
2. Smackdown March of 08...2 weeks before Mania 24. Flair & Shawn vs Edge, Chavo, Ryder, & Hawkins in a handicap cage match. Pretty much Flair and Shawn got raped the whole match, putting in limited offense. Lights dropped and Taker came out right before Edge escaped. Taker cleaned house on La Familia while Edge climbed the cage and escaped. Shawn and Flair got helped to the back while Taker posed down.
3. ROH earlier this year in Chicago. Flair came out cut his usual promo. Put over the home town, jet flyin, kiss stealin', wheelin dealin' son of a gun, put over ROH, elbow dropped his coat, and left.

Flair slept on my couch for a week. Drank all my booze and made numerous passes at my fiance. She rode SPACE MOUNTAIN!
He tried to drop an elbow on one of my cats, but totally missed. He just laid there passed out for a few hours. Then he bladed before climbing back onto the couch and passing back out. I have mass amounts of Flair blood stained on my couch.
It was greatest week of my life.

Change Chicago to Detroit and you have my answer. I wasn't about to pay 25 or whatever it was for an autograph though.

I was at the Lubbock, TX SNME Taping in 1992 when Flair and the Undertaker faced off with Sid and Hulk Hogan and Sid walked out on Hogan. It was a GREAT show. Savage vs. Roberts and Mountie vs. Piper was also on it. I was only 8, but Flair's antics even cracked me up then.

ok... i guess i kinda *win* this thread because i saw him do 3 different house shows in the late 80's:
one match was him w/ Sting & Anderson vs Muta, and...the rest escapes me but it wasn't the other members of J-Corp. Muta was gold in that match and the running joke was "just how many different crotch hits can Muta take?!!"
another was a match with Luger that was great but went a little too long for Luger, the other shows i saw was Luger vs Pillman and their chemistry was much better/exciting
and a third was Flair & Windham vs Midnight Express. ...yeeeeeup it probably lasted 35/40 minutes at least, the advertisement was Road Warriors vs i think Midnights, but this is what we got.... ain't complainin'!!!
my 4th and only other match seeing him live was WrestleMania 8 i was devastated and depressed at the outcome

I saw him when I was like 5...can't remember what it was other than being WCW. Basically Hogan was teaming with Flair. I don't even know who they were facing but I do remember that Flair betrayed Hogan and it was awesome.

Saw Flair vs. Sting(c) for the World Title in either '90 or '91 at a house show. The only other event I'd been to prior to that was headlined by 10 second match between Ultimate Warrior & Andre The Giant, so this was much more of a treat. I was just a kid then, and hated Flair, so that tells me now that he must have been awesome.
Only other time I saw him actively compete (He did do the opening welcome for Backlash in 2006, typical Atlanta-based Flair promo, which is to say, again, awesome) was at Wrestlemania 24.
Not the best Flair match, but definitely one of the best Flair moments.
Did anybody here happen to be in Greenville on 09/14/98 when he returned to Nitro? FIRE ME, I'M ALREADY FIRED!!!

I wasn't, and I was PISSED!!! My parents wouldn't let me be out that late on a Monday night with school the next day, so they wouldn't let me get tickets. I pushed "I'll be home by midnight. Whats the big deal?" but it didn't work. I remember yelling at my dad during the Flair return segment that "I could be there! You wouldn't let me go to THAT! I'm missing it!"

My only WCW show, A Thunder taping a few weeks after he returned in 98 (Goldberg fought Raven in the main event). Him and the Horsemen came out an did a promo. I had only been a fan for about two months so I wasn't fully aware of what I was seeing, but I could tell the Norfolk Scope had such reverence for him.
Raw in 02, Jericho bloodied him, then he came out and trashed Fozzy's set.
House show in 03, he accompanied Triple H and Batista against RVD and Kane.
04, autograph signing. I shook the man's hand. Signed my copy of his DVD and a picture which sits proudly by my TV.
05 House show. Handicap match with Triple H against Batista. Dave no sold the chops and Flair yelled, "Oh shit!"
05 Jericho's "last" Raw. Flair was on the Cabana, deciding he didn't want to take Carlito's shit, ass whoopin ensued.
06, Vengence. The somewhat underwhelming 2 out 3 match with Foley. Plus I was in the nosebleeds.

Personally, I'd still take one of Flair's generic 'I heartily endorse this event and/or product' promos over 95% of anyone else's live promos.

Yeah, but for this one it kinda just seemed like he was just there and didn't really care. This was his 2nd to last appearance for ROH and the news had already broke that he was stopping with ROH to go to WWE. I hate to say this about Flair, but it was kinda half assed.

As much as I love Flair, Rock should have pinned him in that night. I still have no idea what they were thinking by jobbing out Rock N Sock to then job out Foley a month later in a way better match.

I was sad about them losing that match, but it was a real sign of the times that Batista and Orton had arrived. Also they did it in a 3 on 2 environment which made it more believable at the time that they would be able to beat the fuckin' Rock and Sock Connection who were still credible main eventers at the time in the WWE.
They still would be mad super credible if they came back today, just saying they haven't been in a main event in years there. Foley is tearing it up when he wrestles in TNA.
He just passed the torch to Abyss which is pretty wild.

I don't think anyone realized Rock was retiring and that would be his last match, in retrospect and I know it's easy to say this now but they really should have made a bigger deal and that should have been The Rock's big swan song, Foley would make a dozen more returns.
Plus I remember The Rock and Ric Flair had a singles match on Raw, I can't remember the circumstances of it but I do remember it happening.
