Let me first say that I like AJ Styles.
That being said, watching him with the World title in a storyline with Daniels and Joe just feels.......well..
Hogan to TNA sure does overshadow it. You can't tell me that a guy like Daniels will have any business near the TNA title if Hogan is actually wrestling. I feel like they are guys pretending to be main eventers just because the "big dogs" aren't around at the moment. If you put Hogan into the ring with those guys it's about on par with Hogan vs Kidman.
And again, I like Styles....and think that Hogan's 20 years past his prime.

Something's bugging me about this whole deal. On Impact, they kept referring to the deal as a partnership rather than Hogan actually signing with TNA. I've got an uneasy feeling about this.
Also, about Hogan saying he's booking. He's getting exactly what TNA want from him. Attention.

Over the past 2-3 weeks we've seen more and more comments in newsbits about Hogan actually doing the booking and "being in charge". We had Bubba talking about how Hogan signed up to run the place....Hogan talking about coming in and running things....then Hogan saying him and his "friends" are coming in to change things....how he could fire Russo if he wanted, etc, etc
The more I think about it, the more I think maybe they might be doing a "worked-shoot" storyline like Russo is so classically known for doing in WCW. They might actually play it up on tv that Hogan's coming in to "take over" and maybe they DO run with the whole "he brings his friends with him" while all of the TNA guys fight to keep their spots.
Yes, it's already been done with the TNA Originals vs the MEM.......and before that too if I recall....not to mention all of the "I'm in charge" guys like Jarrett, Foley, Cornette, etc, etc, etc.
But I wouldn't put this past them.

Yeah that could actually have some truth to it. It could all just be shit to rile internet fans up, so they can watch the show and then bitch about it more on the internet, causing more internet fans to watch it so they can join in on the bitching.
Makes sense to me.

So apparently, according to this very website, a few TNA guys offered their resignation, apparently over this deal. The only name confirmed for sure was Frankie Karizan, no other names were given (though AJ's name was dropped, though it's just a rumor).
Me thinks they may see the writing on the wall...

The rating this week was a 1.1, so he's not getting them any attention that they didn't already have . . . at least not any that matters.

If so, they're idiots.
Kaz isn't exactly in the main event spot and what does he truely have to lose?
You get out of a stock when it's crashing, not when it's about to spike. Yes, they may drive TNA into the ground but unless Kazarian has the WWE knocking on his door saying "sign with us or stay with them" then it would be a stupid move to just quit. Like it or not, Hogan's going to peak interest atleast for a month or two. Ride the wave while you can, then get out.
And as always, I doubt that rumor's even true....just saying if it is, it'd be stupid to quit NOW.

It's especially dumb with Kaz, who supposedly burned bridges with WWE years ago.
TNA is the place to be for him, unless he thinks RoH or PWG are about to take off.

I would hope the rumor isn't true....as it's kinda a big blow if your *own world champion* is supposedly giving his resignation.

The funny thing is, I don't even think it would affect TNA if Styles left. He won't be sniffing the main event if/when Hogan comes in. And again, I LIKE Styles.

AJ would have to be a moron to attempt to leave TNA now when he's finally getting a decent push and is in the middle of his first title run in years. Not to mention after Sting just put him over at Bound For Glory in a passing-of-the-torch type of moment.
He's just gonna throw a hissy fit and piss that all away because Hogan is coming in? I call bullshit on that.

Either that, or AJ's a little more savvy than you give him credit for, and realizes this is the most visible he's ever been in TNA, and thus it's the most likely time for him to get a good deal in WWE.
Vince McMahon may be spiteful and arrogant, but he's not stupid. You don't turn away the other guy's World Champion.

I agree that Vince certainly wouldn't turn him away but wouldn't AJ look like a complete douche by walking out on the company that just made him the face of their organization moving forward into the future?
Plus, didn't he just sign a new 5 Year deal with TNA? If he truly wanted out I doubt he would have signed that contract to begin with or then try to renig on it after the Hogan deal went down.

Or, he regrets it big time now, because he's worried about being a 5'9" Champion in a promotion now featuring Hulk Hogan. A situation that was nowhere on the radar when he sigend his deal.
I'm not saying any of this is true. I'm just saying I could see why a guy like AJ could make this request.

I heard Kaz asked for his release and AJ and Daniels talked him out of it.
I doubt AJ was talking people out of it, then doing the same himself.

Let's always take into account all this stuff you read on the "newsboards" is 2nd and 3rd and 4th hand "information".
All I care about is what happens on TV. The show, how well it's done, the angles, the matches, etc. Backstage rumors are just all BS sewing circle shit.

You guys are making the mistake that TNA is paying top dollar for midcarders a guy like Kaz could work for ROH, PWG and in Japan and make about the same as TNA would be paying him. The thing is Kaz burned with his bridges with the WWE, he doesn't want to do the same with TNA.
Alex Shelley has left TNA before because he was unhappy with Dusty Rhodes, I can easily see he and Sabin leaving if they're unhappy.

This 'bout sums it up for me. Styles and especially Daniels will never sniff the main event or TNA title when Hogan's around....and they shouldn't.
There was another comment about Styles looking like a douche because TNA just made him the face of the organization.
NOT.
Styles may be the champ but Hogan is already the top guy based on the way they're hyping him. Styles will not be the guy.
Hell even Foley has been completely overshadowed.
