The 411 True Blood Review: Episode 12 - 'You'll Be the Death of Me'
(11.24.2008)
It's the season finale of True Blood. There's a satisfying end to the Bon Temps murderers, but are you really surprised at this point? Luckily, enough things happen to pique your interest until the next season. |

The 411 True Blood Review - Episode 11: To Love Is to Bury
(11.18.2008)
Yet another event-filled episode with a big reveal at the end. Sookie and Sam spend some quality time together. Lafayette gets serious. One annoying female character is replaced with another. Jason and Tara are in hot water. Oh, and Bill's back! |

The 411 True Blood Review: Episode 10 - 'I Don't Wanna Know'
(11.10.2008)
Important things happen in this episode. Bill goes to vampire court. Arlene has her engagement party. Sam tells Sookie his very obvious secret. Tara sees Jeanette. Jason and Amy still have Eddie. Lafayette makes a few appearances. If you're hoping for the usual gratuitous sex and nudity this week, it's not here. Yes, I'm disappointed too, but for different reasons. |

Private Practice: The Complete First Season Extended Edition Review
(11.08.2008)
The first season of most shows is usually a little shaky. Private Practice does quite well, but how do the bonus features hold up? Is the price worth it for nine episodes? Did anyone watch this who didn't watch Grey's Anatomy first, or wasn't forced by his girlfriend? I try to answer two out of three of these questions. |

The 411 True Blood Review: Episode 9 - 'Plaisir D'Amour'
(11.03.2008)
This week we learn what happens when a vampire is staked to death, and it isn't pretty. There's more Eric, and less Tara. Jason is almost tolerable, but Amy is definitely not. Sam's big secret is more or less revealed. In response to last week, I include as many little details as possible. I start to count the loose ends so far in the series. |

The 411 True Blood Review - Episode 8: 'The Fourth Man in the Fire'
(10.28.2008)
This week's episode is a much better follow up to last week's. Lots of things happen. Someone has sex, and for once it's not Jason. We see the uglier side of Amy and the better side of Tara's mom. Eric returns, and there's a surprise guest star. |

The 411 True Blood Review: Episode 7 - 'Burning House of Love'
(10.19.2008)
The episode starts with a bang (sort of), and then it all goes downhill from there. |
 |
The 411 True Blood Review: Episode 6 - 'Cold Ground'
(10.13.2008)
So many questions, so... much... time... to continue failing to deliver answers. Bon Temps mourns the loss of a Stackhouse, I hate Jason slightly less this week, and Sookie tries drugs and sex. By the way, Anna Paquin's boobs are in this episode. |
 |
The 411 True Blood Review: Episode 5 - 'Sparks Fly Out'
(10.06.2008)
We learn how Bill became a vampire. Sam finally asks Sookie out. Jason doesn't have sex for almost a whole episode. Lafayette gets a small moment to shine. My head almost explodes at the end of the episode. |

Lewis Black's Root of All Evil: The Complete First Season Uncensored DVD Review
(09.30.2008)
Lewis Black is the pretend judge in a courtroom that delivers the verdict on what is truly the root of all evil. He doesn't yell as much as you would expect. Some funny mock lawyers (and one former real lawyer) make their cases. |

The 411 True Blood Review: Episode 4 - 'Escape from Dragon House'
(09.29.2008)
Sookie and Bill go out on a non-date, we meet the oldest vampire in Bon Temps, Jason downgrades from non-stop sex to non-stop masturbating, and Marilyn writes her shortest review ever. |
 |
The 411 True Blood Review: Episode 3 - 'Mine'
(09.22.2008)
We see more of Tara's home life, Lafayette has many jobs, Sam actually has multiple lines this week, Sookie is in trouble (again), and Jason gets in trouble after sex (again). |
 |
The 411 True Blood Review: Episode 2 - 'The First Taste'
(09.15.2008)
Sookie and Bill's relationship deepens, Jason can't keep his pants on, and we get some answers. |
