And we're rolling... - 05.05.2006
Ok, I work at a place where we have a lot of downtime, especially on fridays so I'm killing time and writing a blog. Nobody will probably read it but here it is anyway. Ok, since this really has no form or structure I'm just gonna shoot from the hip. This particular blog is gonna be about good bands you may have never listened to. I'll name a few and tell you why I like them.
First off
Band: Project 86
These guys where the first rock band I got into back in the ninties. I was a lil' squirt and I found these guys when I was in 8th grade. I love them because they saved me from rap music which I was into at the time. They have a unique sound. They have solid lyrics (which I am all about) and they put on a good live show. They have a website (project86.com) and they are on myspace and pure volume with songs. Check 'em out. If you like 'em or hate 'em let me know.
Good Songs: Another boredom movement, Stein's theme, Subject to change
Band: Blood brothers
My friend just got me into this band. They have a crazy sound. There music is very frenetic (is that how you spell that) Anyway, its good stuff. The vocals are crazy this guy can really scream. Check 'em out.
Good Songs: Cecilia And The Silhouette Saloon, Trash flavored trash
Band: American headcharge
I like these guys cuz they are heavy. They're from my state Mn. They got good stuff and they're music is just aggressive. If you have to take on an army of blood thirsty zombies, you wanna have these guys playin' in the background.
Good songs: Loyalty, Pushing the envelope, Coward
Ok thats it. We'll see if I keep doin' this, if ya like it let me know if not I'll shut up. Whateves.
Peace E Z |
