Big, big props to both Aaron Hubbard for helping write out some of the matches and John Meehan for doing the spiffy banner.

For anyone coming in late (having just recently bookmarked/home paged 411), over the past couple of months, the readers of Ask 411 Wrestling have been voting on this, the Ultimate WM. Anyone who had performed at a WM was eligible (with certain conditions). This is what they came up with.

  • Since most of you do not read the whole column, a regular edition of ASK 411 Wrestling will run tomorrow.

    – LIVE from Madison Square Garden, New York New York!

    – Hosted by Gorilla Monsoon, Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura and Jim Ross.

Ray Charles & Aretha Franklin start us off with an impressive duet performance of ‘America The Beautiful’.

    – Legally required impressive video package.

Falls Count Anywhere: Chris Jericho V ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage

Jericho gets about halfway down the ramp before Savage sprints from backstage with a double axe handle to the back. Jericho tumbles down to ringside, Savage giving chase. Jericho gets bounced off pillar and post around the ring, into the post, into the steps, into Howard Finkle. Savage, after a couple of minutes of solid in control ass kicking motions to the crowd and goes for a piledriver on the floor, but Jericho counters into a back body drop. Jericho takes a moment to recover, then grabs a steel chair from under the ring. So we’re bypassing the preliminaries I guess. Jericho brings it down across Savage’s back a few times, then gets a 2 count on the floor. Jericho then sends Savage back first into the guard rail, as the storyline asserts itself. Then actually head into the ring, as Jericho starts dropping elbows, legs, and the chair into Savage’s back, clearly setting up for the walls.

Savage gets a brief come back when Jericho misses a Lionsault and gets a chair to the stomach, but Savage takes too long going up and eats a dropkick as he comes off. Savage rolls out, Jericho in pursuit. Jericho starts laying in punches, and this seems to tick Savage off as he starts returning them, the two now wildly throwing haymakers on the floor. Jericho surprisingly wins the slug fest, unsurprisingly doing so with a kick to the jaw. And then Jericho rolls Savage into the ring, and then grabs the ring bell. The crowd buzzes as Chris climbs up. He jumps, but Savage gets out of the way and Jericho lands face first on the bell. The ref starts a 10 count (Why?) before the two get up, Jericho now bleeding from the bell. Savage takes over, scoop slam, clothesline, clothesline, double axe handle, Savage grabs the chair and just BLASTS Jericho with it, Jericho’s down, Savage goes up, and Jericho moves out of the way of the Elbow, then drags Savage out, Codebreaker with the ring bell on the floor! That gets 2, and Jericho argues the count. Savage pulls himself up by the announce table, and Jericho gets an idea. He gets up on the table, pulling Savage with him, and prepares to piledrive him through the table! Savage blocks, then Jericho lays in a few shots to the back. As he goes to pick Savage up, Miss Elizabeth runs from the back, crying. Jericho looks at her coldly as she begs. Jericho looks at her, then lets Savage go, and gets down off the table

Only to then grab Liz. He then locks her into the Walls! Huge heel heat for that as she’s screaming in pain. Jericho smiles a sick smile, then takes a double axe handle to the head, Savage back up. Savage gets the piledriver on the floor, then tosses Jericho onto the Spanish Announce Table, and goes up and drops the elbow through it! That naturally gets the fall. Wild, emotional brawl.

Winner: ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage (Pinfall- Elbow Drop Through Spanish Announce Table

Mean Gene tries to get a word with the reunited couple but all we get is a brief “Dig It!” before they retire to their dressing room. Ok then.

Demolition V The Legion Of Doom

Legion Of Doom surprisingly get the bigger reaction. Well, maybe that’s not a huge surprise. All 4 men step into the ring, and then just start wailing away. Lots of strikes, punches, axhandles, clotheslines. Lots more. And even more. Ok, you’re both tough, we get it.

Eventually Hawk goes down (probably just out of boredom) and the match start proper. Ax and Smash work him over, and I suppose he’s face in peril but he’s not really showing any pain so it’s a bit meaningless. Crowd’s hot though. Demolition actually show off a few decent power tag team moves, double bodyslam, double big boot. But after a couple of minutes Hawk ducks a double clothesline, gets his own, hot tag. Animal comes in and cleans house, chucking Demolition around. After a few shots to both, Animal charges right into a sidewalk slam, quickly turned into the Decapitation! Cover, 1, 2, Hawk breaks it up. Ax gets sent outside, and Smash is lifted up, Doomsday Device, cover, 3 count. Somewhat underwhelming. But the crowd was hot and it was cool to see. Just not a ‘great’ match.

Winners: The Legion Of Doom (Pinfall- Doomsday Device)

    – Mean Gene again attempts an interview, trying to speak with Rey Mysterio, Owen Hart, Rob Van Dam and Eddie Guerrero in turn, but Rey brushes him off (albeit in a nice way), Owen doesn’t like his tone, Rob just points to himself and Eddie steals Mean Gene’s wallet. So why have Mean Gene if it’s not going to actually interview anyone? Not to say that this wasn’t entertaining in a weird way, but still.

Eddie Guerrero V Owen Hart V Rey Mysterio V Rob Van Dam

Nice touch has Eddie still going through Mean Gene’s wallet as he comes out. So basically Owen’s the full fledged heel here, and Rey’s the full fledged face, with Eddie and RVD sort of floating between them. All 4 men are in there at the same time so PBP is a little hard. Suffice to say RVD and Owen square off, as do Eddie and Rey. After a double whip into a do-see-do, Rey and RVD swap opponents in a contrived but awesome spot. Eddie gets the first pin attempt on Rob, broken by Rey, who Owen then Germans for a pin, broken by Rob, who then drops the leg on Owen, broken by Eddie. Eddie tosses Owen over the top rope, then comes over with a plancha. RVD then comes over onto both of them with the running flip, and then Rey goes up top and comes off with a Moonsault with more air than I thought possible.

Stereo eye rakes into stereo suplexs on the floor allows Eddie and Owen to take over, who reach an agreement and start double teaming both Rey and Rob. Some swank double team moves follow, with both Eddie and Owen sneakily breaking up pinfalls and then blaming the other guy. Just great character work.

Eventually after they both try and come back by themselves, Rob and Rey make a comeback, working together to knock both Owen and Eddie out of the ring, before turning on each other and going at it! Awesome! Rob gets the upper hand, and manages to block a super hurricanrana then hits the Frog Splash, only for Owen to toss him out of the ring on the rebound, then Eddie runs in, dropkicks Owen out and over (onto Rob) and then covers Rey, with tights and feet on ropes for the pinfall. Just solid high flying action here.

Winner: Eddie Guerrero (Pinfall- Dirty Roll Up on Rey Mysterio)

Money In The Bank: CM Punk V Edge V Christian V Matt Hardy V Jeff Hardy V John Morrison

E&C fight with the Hardyz, so Punk and Morrison go out and fight over the first ladder. The Hardyz get the advantage and hit Poetry in Motion on E&C. Punk clocks Morrison with a kick and brings the ladder to ringside, but the Hardyz baseball slide the ladder into Punk. Christian is up and he dives onto the brothers, and Edge grabs the ladder and starts to climb up. Morrison hits a springboard kick to Edge on the ladder. He grabs the ladder and then moonsaults onto Christian and the Hardyz with the ladder! Punk is in and hits the knee of doom/bulldog on Edge, grabs a ladder and sets it up, but Edge hits an electric chair drop. Edge climbs again and the Hardyz grab him and hit him with the ladder. Matt hits the Twist of Fate, and Jeff hits the Swanton. Matt starts climbing, but Jeff pulls him off. They argue, and Jeff climbs, Matt pulls him off. They start slugging it out and Matt hits the side effect. Matt climbs, but Morrison throws a ladder at him to knock him off. Morrison slams Matt on the ladder, and hits the split-legged corkscrew moonsault on Matt! Morrison climbs, but Christian is up, and hits the inverted DDT off of the ladder. Punk pulls Christian off the ladder and hits the GTS, and starts to climb. Edge tips the ladder over, and Punk lands on the ropes. Edge drills Punk with a DDT, and Matt hits a low blow on Edge.

Matt sets up the seesaw spot and begs Jeff to hit Edge with it, and Jeff delivers, busting Edge open like Mercury! The Hardyz climb up, and start slugging it out, and Morrison pushes the ladder over and Matt takes a huge bump on the floor. Jeff lands on his feet, but Morrison hits him with the Moonlight Drive. Punk is up and he and Morrison have a tug of war with the ladder, and Jeff gets up and hits the Whisper in the Wind onto the ladder, taking them both out. Christian suplexes Jeff onto a ladder, and starts to climb. Punk is up and they start to fight, Morrison is up and sets up another ladder, flips over, and powerbombs Punk as he superplexes Christian! On the floor Matt is beating Edge to a pulp, and he sets up a ladder on the rail. Matt tries to suplex Edge into the ladder, but Edge beats him down, SPEAR THROUGH THE LADDER!

Jeff starts to climb but Punk is up, and gives Jeff the straight-edge sign! It’s ON as they brawl, and Punk hits a series of kicks, slams Jeff on a ladder and heads up top. Jeff fights with Punk up top, tries a superplex but Punk fights, PEPSI PLUNGE onto the ladder! Jeff is DEAD! Punk starts to climb up top to huge cheers, but Christian hits him with a steel chair, and hits the Unprettier on the chair. Punk rolls outside and Christian and Edge wait for Morrison to get up, and hit the Conchairto! Christian then waffles Edge with the chair as he stands tall! Christian starts to climb, and miraculously, so does Jeff! They trade blows and try to fight, and Morrison shoves the ladder. Jeff lands on Punk and Christian falls on the floor with no padding. Ouch. Morrison starts to climb, and has the briefcase, but Edge takes the ladder our from under him. Edge swings Morrison and Morrison lands throatfirst on the ropes. Edge Spears Morrison off the apron and onto everyone else, and climbs the ladder to win!

Winner, and NEW Mr. Ultimate Money In The Bank: Edge (Briefcase Obtaining)

Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts “welcomes” us to a special edition of the Snake Pit. His guest is Ric Flair, who is very irate at being left off the show. He certainly has a problem seeing that he’s been denied a spot for a bunch of young punks hitting each other with ladders and chairs. That’s not wrestling. Flair continues to rant and rave until ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper comes out for a rebuttal. He points out that the most violent spectacle in wrestling history, Wargames, was built for Flair and his Horsemen, and that while he admits that he too is upset at being left off the show, he’s not bitching, he’s instead enjoying it. Flair responds with a slap. Piper returns it. And then, in a glorious moment, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard and Barry Windham come from backstage and we have a 4 Horsemen beatdown! Roberts tries to stop it, but he too gets beat down, but then just as Flair locks in the Figure 4 on Piper, Dusty Rhodes and Bob Backlund run out and make the save with chairs (!). The unlikely 4 faces get an ovation as the Horsemen leave.

Kurt Angle V Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat

Steamboat enters to a big pop, clearly the fan favorite. Angle enters to a chorus of “You Suck” chants, but as his music dies down, the crowd starts a loud chant duel of “Let’s go Angle!” “Let’s go Steamboat!” Still more cheers for Steamboat though. The Dragon asks for a handshake before the match, and Angle returns to the gesture of respect. Perhaps surprisingly, there are no shenanigans here, and Angle gets some cheers for his good sportsmanship.

The bell rings and the two men circle before going to a nice amateur sequence, but eventually Dragon escapes. They lock up again and trade some holds, Angle going for the head and Steamboat going for the arm. The dueling chant starts up again and they work the epic series of reversals, Steamboat getting 2 off the backslide. Angle takes the first cheap shot by whipping Steamboat and hitting a back elbow for 2, and then applying a chinlock. Steamboat backs Angle into the turnbuckle and looks to give him a clean break, but hits a chop before backing off. Angle gets pissed and charges into an armdrag. Dragon hits two more beautiful armdrags before applying an armbar. Dragon works at the arm, but Angle backs him into the corner, and then hits a European Uppercut. Steamboat retaliates with chops, and they trade chops and uppercuts. Dragon gets the advantage and hits a big hip block takeover out of the corner, and follows with a dropkick for 2. Dragon goes back to working the arm. Angle backs Dragon to the ropes, but Dragon reverse an Irish Whip and tries a hip block takeover. Angle blocks it, so Dragon flips off of his neck, but Angle counters with a fireman’s carry. The match starts to breakdown until Steamboat gets teh clear advantagage with a series of chops. Steamboat hits a scoop slam and tries a splash, but Angle counters with the knees. Angle stomps at Dragon’s ribs, and Steamboat rolls out of the ring as ten minutes pass by.

Angle heads outside and drops Steamboat across the guardrail, and then hits a suplex on the floor. Angle throws Steamboat inside and works over the midsection with suplexes and holds. Angle puts on an abdominal stretch, and uses the ropes for additional leverage. The referee catches him and kicks his hand off, and Steamboat counters with a hip block takeover. Dragon charges but Angle takes his head off with a clothesline. Angle hits a pair of knee lifts as the crowd gets on his case. Angle tries a backdrop suplex but Steamboat lands on his feet and starts laying into Angle with chops. Steamboat whips Angle and hits a military press, and follows with a headscissors. Steamboat beats Angel to a pulp with chops, hits 10 mounted ones in the corner and hits a monkey flip. Dragon ducks a clothesline and gets an O’Connor Roll for 2. Dragon goes back to the arm and snaps it off the top rope. Steamboat climbs up top, and delivers a tomahawk chop, 1…2…NO!

Twenty minutes pass and Steamboat delivers some more chops, but Angle reverses a whip and tries a back body drop. Steamboat gets a sunset flip, but Angle rolls through into the Ankle Lock! Dragon turns it into a small package for 2, tries a clothesline, but Angle ducks and hits a German Suplex that turns Steamboat inside out! STRAPS DOWN! Angle tries the Angle Slam, but Dragon escapes with an armdrag! Dragon connects with a superkick, and heads up top, crossbody! 1…2…NO! Steamboat charges but Angle back body drops him over the ropes, but Steamboat skins the cat, and Angle grabs his leg, Ankle Lock! Steamboat thinks about tapping, but gets to his feet and clocks Angle with an enzugiri! Steamboat heads up top, but Angle is up, SUPER belly-to-belly! Angle stalks Steamboat, Angle Slam! 1…2…NO! Angle is not happy, straps up…straps back down! Angle heads up top, MISSES the moonsault! Steamboat grabs Angle’s arms, Double Chickenwing! Angle refuses to tap, rolls through into an Ankle Lock! Steamboat tries to roll through, but Angle holds on and then grapevines the leg! Dragon has no choice but to tap! Steamboat offers Angle a handshake post match, and again, Angle accepts it.

Winner: Kurt Angle (Submission- Ankle Lock)

    – Mean Gene finally gets something resembling an interview, as Pete Rose is backstage, two baseball bats in his hands. Mean Gene recaps the history between Rose and Kane, and asks just why Rose would make this challenge. Pete laughs, and says that unlike him, most of Kane’s enemies are still around. And he will have his revenge, here tonight.

No Holds Barred: Kane V Pete Rose

I don’t see this lasting long.

Kane gives Rose a free shot, turning his back. Rose then makes my jaw drop by giving Kane the mother of all Nut Shots with the Baseball Bat. He just swung it like a golf club and just NAILED Kane with it. Kane goes down. He gets 1 off that, Kane powering him off with ease. Pete tries for a more tradition bat shot, but Kane blocks it, and grabs a choke, seemingly annoyed. And that brings Mankind, along with Paul Bearer to the ring, as they attempt to beat Kane down. Sadly we don’t get a Mr. Socko appearance as Kane tosses his father then chokeslams Mankind onto his own steel chair. Kane looks around for Pete (who’s hiding behind Finkle), but finds Vader, coming out to also get a piece of Kane. I’m sensing a pattern here.

Vader manages to do better than Mankind, surprisingly, knocking Kane down. But Vader Bomb hits the mat, and Kane KOs Vader with one of the bats. Pete then laughably goes for a roll up, and gets a chokeslam for his troubles, a nice one too. But the cover is broken up again by… Chyna? And Tori? Who next, Katie Vick? The two women try stomping on Kane, but he shrugs it off and stands up and then they try pleading. They both take off their shirts in an attempt to placate him. And then they start feeling each other up to further said attempt. I guess Vince Russo really is booking this. Kane responds to this attempted seduction with stereo chokeslams, because real men prefer violence over boobies. Rose at this point seems to have had enough and tries to run, but Kane catches him first and delivers a Tombstone, cover, 1, 2-

The San Deigo Chicken & The Gobberly Gooker break it up. I’m serious.

And they manage to beat Kane down! With a bat and a chair, the two get Kane down and out and then unmask to reveal… Scott Hall & Kevin Nash?!? The hell? They dump Rose onto Kane, and he gets… 2? Hall and Nash attempt to continue the beatdown, but here comes X-Pac and Big Show, and they brawl off with The Outsiders into the crowd as I’m just sitting in stunned silence. Kane sits up, grabs the still KOed Rose, Tombstone, then delivers another onto a chair to end this… Thing.

The most bizarre match I’ve ever seen, but I wasn’t bored, I tell you that.

    Winner: Kane (Pinfall- 3rd Tombstone)

Bobby Heenan, here to drag us back to something resembling sanity, is backstage with Mean Gene, and after pausing only to complain about Flair and the 4 Horsemen getting disrespected earlier, introduces Andre The Giant, who has a sick smile on his face. Heenan begins to talk about mind games when Andre cuts him off, and speaks directly into the camera.

“Dead man. I don’t fear death anymore. And I don’t fear you. You have a streak on this show, but I had a streak lasting over 10 years. Day in, day out. Tonight, I prove myself.”

    Andre leaves laughing.

Andre The Giant w/Bobby Heenan V The Undertaker

Andre enters first to a good ovation, but Bobby gets roundly booed. Taker makes his big entrance, complete with druids, fire, smoke, dimmed lights, the whole nine. Bobby is having fits but Andre appears to not be intimidated. Crowd loudly cheers Taker.

The match starts with a big staredown, and Taker takes the first shot with a trio of punches. Taker tries to knock down Andre with clotheslines, but eats a big boot. Taker is still standing, and Andre hits a headbutt and a knee smash, and Taker falls into the corner. Andre lights Taker up with chops, and hits a huge hip toss. Andre clubs at Taker’s back and Taker goes to his knees. He tries it again but Taker ducks, leaps onto Andre’s back and Princess Brides him! Andre starts to fade, but he backs Taker into the corner to break it up. Andre hits the huge corner thumps, and he tries a headbutt but Taker dodges.

Taker whales at Andre and applies a chokehold, but gets tossed off. Andre picks Taker up, but Taker throws a few shots to the ribs. Taker tries a Downward Spiral but Andre simply shoves him down. Andre hits a pair of slams before walking across Taker’s back, and he applies a bearhug. Taker starts to fade, but he still has life, and he punches out of the bearhug. Taker hits the ropes, dodges a chop and hits his flying clothesline, and Andre gets tied up in the ropes. Taker takes advantage by pummeling Andre before the referee unties him. Taker comes off the ropes with a big boot that staggers Andre, and Taker wrenches the arm. Taker goes up top and delivers Old School which brings the Giant to his knees. Taker hits the ropes as Andre tries to get up and hits a huge DDT! Taker covers but it only 2.

Taker punches at Andre, but Andre stops a punch and lifts Taker in a double choke before slamming him down. Andre tries another slam but Taker counters, DRAGON SLEEPER! Andre starts to fade but refuses to submit, and Taker gets another nearfall. Taker drags Andre to the apron, hits a big elbow and a big boot, VINTAGE LEGDROP! Andre falls outside, and Taker goes in the ring, AIR TAKER! Andre tumbles down the aisle way as the crowd goes bananas. Zombie sit-up by Taker, who is clearly exhausted, but he rolls Andre back inside. Taker heads up top, and topples Andre with a flying clothesline! Heenan somehow works up enough courage to get onto the apron and distract Taker, and Taker throws him in. GOOZLE! CHOKESLAM FOR HEENAN!

Taker signals for the end, tries the Tombstone but Andre is too heavy and falls on top of Taker, 1…2…NO! The Giant grabs Taker, but Taker hits a series of punches and an uppercut, GOOZLE! Andre hits an axehandle on the arm to easily break it. Andre hits another headbutt and then delivers the Butterfly Suplex, but Taker kicks out at 2! Andre chokes Taker and the referee admonishes him. Andre hits the ropes to try a big splash, but Taker moves out of the way. Andre eats canvas, Taker grabs his arm, HELL’S GATE! Andre is forced to tap as blood trickles from his mouth, and Taker wins! The Streak still lives!

Winner: The Undertaker (Submission- Hell’s Gate)

    – A (long) video package details the (long) history between Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart

I Quit: Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart V ‘The Heart Break Kid’ Shawn Michaels

Bret enters first to a mixed reaction. I guess some New Yorkers still think he’s a whiny bitch. But then Shawn gets a similar reaction, although it’s about 70-30 Bret, roughly. Shawn certainly seems out of step, his eyes never leaving Bret’s. He gets in the ring, and they two face off. Shawn begins to talk, and Bret cuts him off with a tackle as the match starts.

Shawn immediately goes on the defensive, focusing on avoiding and surviving Bret’s initial rage. Bret just kicks and punches wildly at Shawn, then begins trying to drive his head, leg and soon any part of him he can grab into whatever’s nearby. After a couple of minutes there’s already 3 turnbuckles without pads and the ring steps are in disarray. Bret manages to get a Russian leg sweep on the floor and grabs the mic. “Say it you bitch!” “… I forgive you.” Bret screams at this and begin punching Shawn in the head with the microphone. Shawn eventually gets away from Bret and begins to run, Bret giving chase. After a couple spins round the ring, Shawn grabs a camera off one of the camera men and blasts Bret in the face with it.

Now Shawn takes over, although his heart doesn’t seem in it. Certainly he begins to punish Bret, but when he’s choking him out with a camera cord or jabbing a steel chair into Bret’s leg, his face is calm and sad. But once he locks in a figure four, and Bret begins to fade, a hint of a smile begins to creep onto his face. Ventura theorises that the Real HBK is coming out. Bret manages to break the hold by grabbing a kendo stick from under the ring and blasting Shawn in the stomach and nuts with it.

After a few more whacks with the cane, Bret grabs a TV monitor, and as Shawn turns around, blasts him in the face with it. And Shawn is bleeding, and bleeding BAD. 1.5 Muta scale bad. But even with this, he refuses to say I Quit, although his reply is now more antagonistic as he says something that’s bleeped. Bret then drags Shawn by the feet up near the entrance, then whips Shawn into the set, HBK’s back taking out a section of the LED display. Bret then motions to the crowd, and goes to lock in the Sharpshooter. But as he turns it over, a steel chair comes out from backstage and blasts him in the head. And, no surprise, Vince McMahon steps out. He yells at Bret, then lays in a few more shots, then, after checking on Shawn (who’s still in a puddle of his own blood at this stage) mocks Bret, and then locks in a Sharpshooter.

Bad idea, as Bret counters it and steps up into his own. Vince then proceeds to tap, scream, yell I Quit and cry as Bret tries to break his former boss’ back, only to be stopped by a sudden boot, as Shawn superkicks right in the face to break it up. Vince is checked up on as Shawn then drags Bret over to the side of the stage, and demands he quit before he tosses him onto the concrete floor. Bret responds with a spit, and Shawn rears back and then goes for the superkick.

Bret ducks and tosses Shawn up and over, and HBK takes a NASTY tumble onto the concrete. He’s not moving as Bret staggers down. But after a kick from Bret, Shawn begins to stir. Bret then quickly locks in the Sharpshooter, and Shawn screams in pain and then goes limp. The ref goes to call for the bell, but Bret breaks the hold. After almost a minute, Shawn begins to stir, and Bret locks the Sharpshooter back in. This time, Shawn manages to say the magic words before he passes out a second time.

Winner: Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart (Submission- I Quit in Sharpshooter)

    – Backstage, Trish Stratus is warming up (well, she’s bending over a lot…) when Lita steps in. The two have a tense stare off before going into a rather weird recap of their history together. I mean, it achieves it’s goal, establishing that all’s fair in the next match, but still, weird. But Trish bending over = Hottness, so it gets a free pass.

    Beth Phoenix w/Santino V Lita V Trish Stratus V Victoria w/Stevie Richards

Gee, Monsoon really doesn’t like Santino for some reason. Luckily we don’t have to put up with his seemingly irrational hatred for long, as Stevie quickly superkicks Santino as he tries to speak, and the two men brawl to the back. This 4 way does have tags, with Beth and Victoria shaking hands before the opening bell despite their men fighting. The match proper starts with Victoria gets bumped around by Trish and Lita, taking kick after kick in a game of oneupwomanship before Beth cuts Lita off and she and Victoria begin to work her over. Beth really looks strong as Victoria keeps getting come backs against her while Beth is dominate. But the crowd is still coming down off the last match and thus the crowd reaction sadly isn’t there, although they are into the match.

Beth manages to get a couple of close 2 counts on Lita, a Fisherwoman’s Suplex broken up by Trish then a Glam Slam by Victoria. This sets Victoria and Beth to arguing, and that allows Lita to tag out, and Trish comes in and cleans house. Bulldog to Beth, DDT to Victoria, Chick Kick to Beth, Victoria cuts her off and hits the Widow’s Pak, cover, Lita nails a Litasault on Victoria, then rolls to her feet, turns around and nails a Twist of Fate on Beth! Lita goes to pull Victoria up, but Beth no-sells the Twist and gets up, spins Lita around and nails a Sitout Death Valley Driver! Nasty. Lita’s dead, but Victoria isn’t and she tackles Beth, and they go stumbling to the outside. Victoria goes to pick Beth up and she counters into a back suplex, taking out both women. In the ring, Lita has somehow stumbled to her feet, and staggers up into a Chick Kick from Trish, who gets the pin. Sudden ending.

Winner: Trish Stratus (Pinfall- Chick Kick)

    – One final video package highlighting all 6 men’s history and the brutality of the Elimination Chamber. Excellent work.

Elimination Chamber: Hulk Hogan V John Cena V Stone Cold Steve Austin V The Rock V The Ultimate Warrior V Triple H

Steve Austin and John Cena start things out, and Austin tackles Cena and whales at him. Austin whips Cena, hits an inverted atomic drop, a clothesline, and a running kneedrop. Cena reverses a corner whip and hits a sidewalk slam for 2. Cena hits a few punches but Austin reverses an Irish Whip and hits the Lou Thesz Press. Rights and the byrd drop follow. Austin covers for 2 and then slams Cena into the turnbuckle repeatedly. Cena walks out and Austin hits a Russian Legsweep for 2. Austin pummels Cena and hits the ropes, but Cena connects with a hip toss. Cena hits a pair of clotheslines, whips Austin and hits a back body drop. Austin rolls to the outside and Cena grabs him, but Austin stuns him off of the ropes. Austin comes in and chokes Cena, and then drops him throat first on the ropes. Austin straddles Cena but only gets 2. Austin calls for Cena to get up, kick to the gut, but Cena shoves Austin off and hits a clothesline that sends Austin outside. Cena slams Austin on the steel and follows with an elbow drop for 2, and Austin rolls back inside. Cena hits a crossbody but Austin rolls through for 2. Austin tries the Stunner, but Cena catches the leg and applies the STFU!

That’s five minutes and Triple H is out next. Cena breaks the hold and clotheslines the Game, hits a pair of shoulder blocks, whips him to the corner and hits a one-handed bulldog for 2. Cena whips the Game but eats the chinbreaker, and Cena stumbles into a double flapjack from Hunter and Austin. The Two Man Power Trip reunite as they stomp at Cena, and then toss him outside. They slam him into the chamber walls multiple times, busting him open, and Austin clotheslines him back inside. The Game hits a suplex and Austin hits his byrd drop from the second rope. Hunter covers but only gets 2, and then pounds at Cena’s cut. Austin hits a suplex, and the Game follows with a knee drop, but again only gets 2. Triple H hits a shin breaker and puts Cena in the figure four, and Austin breaks off the alliance with a byrd drop. Austin tosses Hunter in the corner and stomps a mudhole, and then hits a backdrop suplex for 2. Austin stomps at Hunter, hits the ropes but gets caught with a spinebuster.

That’s ten minutes and The Rock enters next. Rock grabs Hunter and tosses him onto the steel, and heads inside. Rock lays the Smackdown on Austin, sending him over the top. Cena charges but misses a clothesline, and the Rock hits a series of punches, whips Cena and hits a Samoan Drop. Rock punches at Cena, but Cena reverses a corner whip and hits the fisherman’s suplex. Cena knocks the Game down and Rocky hits a belly-to-belly suplex. Rock follows with a clothesline for 2. Rock tosses Cena to the floor, and Hunter comes in and they trade punches, Rock wins that but misses a clothesline and eats a knee from Hunter. The Game hits Rock with a backbreaker for 2 as Austin slams Cena into the glass pods. Cena is bleeding profusely and the Game puts Rock in an abdominal stretch. Rock hip tosses Hunter out of it, ducks a clothesline and hits his flying clothesline, goes for the People’s Elbow, but runs into a STUNNER!

Fifteen minutes and Hulk Hogan enters the fray, and the two biggest icons in wrestling stare each other down, and trade right hands. Hogan wins that and whips Austin to the corner before hitting a big elbow, and then hits a double clothesline on the Rock and Hunter. Austin charges and eats a back body drop. Hogan grabs a headlock and pounds at Austin, and hits a scoop slam. Hogan hits a pair of elbow drops and rakes the face, but only gets 2.
