411’s Countdown to Wrestlemania 25: Rating Mania’s Matches (PART I)

April 3, 2009 | Posted by Rob McNew

Thanks to John Meehan for creating this year’s logo…

Wrestlemania. The Showcase of the Immortals, The Grandest Stage of them All, The Biggest Spectacle in Sports Entertainment, The Grandaddy of them all, and whatever other superlatives WWE decides to heap on the event this week. Whatever you call it the men and women of the WWE put forth their best effort at their biggest event. Over the past month I have taken upon the task of creating the Definitive Wrestlemania Match list. All 244 matches ranked in order. As a background I did in fact watch all of these matches within the past month and ranked them as I went to ensure that nothing was forgotten. This was far too comprehensive to complete by memory. This is simply based upon my own opinion, and my only criteria was the entertainment value that the match provided me. Others will have completely different list, and that is what this was created for. For you to debate. What is the worst? What is the best? Where does your favorites rank? Who really is Mr. Wrestlemania? Let’s count them down.

Where’s My Refund?
