From 411Mania's Canadian offices in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, this is The Wrestling News Experience, with Stephen Randle!
Ask Me About Pins
Good morning, everyone, and welcome to the Experience. I am Stephen Randle, and I have finally managed to watch an episode of "How I Met Your Mother". Unfortunately, it was awesome. Why is this unfortunate? I don't have enough time or money to watch all the TV I love already, I can't be finding out that there's even more incredible shows out there. If anything in the new fall season ends up being good, I'm going to be screwed by the time Futurama re-ups in 2010.
Ah well, at least my favourite shows usually end up cancelled so I don't have to buy too many season sets. That's right, there are benefits to watching doomed television series. Of course, there is that nasty side effect of all modern television series ending their seasons on cliffhangers, so I can get really pissed off when they get cancelled without resolving them.
Moving on.
Lansdell avoided a hospital visit to bring you live coverage, because, according to him, he doesn't let his woman tell him what to do.
He's going to be in so much trouble now.
Daniels won a Steel Asylum Match involving Suicide, Jay Lethal, Consequences Creed, Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Amazing Red, and "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero to become #1 Contender to the X Division title
Abyss defeated Jethro Holliday in a Bounty Match (pinfall, Black Hole Slam)
Presumably a "Bounty Match" means hardcore rules, given the obvious weapons in play. I hope nobody was still waiting on that Trevor Murdoch push.
Hernandez defeated Rob Terry to regain the "Feast or Fired" briefcase containing a TNA World title shot (pinfall, shoulderblock)
Total match time: 5 seconds. Anybody else think they might actually be serious about a Hernandez push?
The British Invasion defeated Beer Money Inc. to retain the IWGP Tag Team titles (Magnus pinned Roode, rollup following unwanted abuse of testicles)
ODB and Cody Deaner defeated Angelina Love and Velvet Sky. ODB (or Deaner, nobody seems sure) wins the TNA Knockouts title (Deaner pinned Sky, rollup)
So, it's possible that Cody Deaner, a man, may have just won TNA's title for women in a tag match by pinning the opponent who was not actually the champion. Who's running TNA Creative right now again?
Samoa Joe defeated Homicide to win the X Division title (submission, RNC)
File this under "foregone conclusion". Not sure I would have bothered with the whole false start DQ on Impact that made Joe look incompetent, though. So, we go back to Daniels vs Joe, probably with AJ thrown in, to attempt to recapture the magic of the old X Division days, ne?
Booker T and Scott Steiner defeated Team 3D to retain the TNA Tag Team titles (Steiner pinned Ray, rollup)
Apparently this match became Falls Count Anywhere, which explains why I was initially confused by the commentary. I should have saved my confusion for the finish, I guess. Does this mean these guys have to face each other again? Were fans really clamouring for a rematch?
Kevin Nash defeated Mick Foley to win the TNA Legends title (pinfall, big boot)
Soooooo...why did Foley win the title on Impact again? Surely a legend like Mick doesn't need two-week vanity reigns which de-rail the whole "MEM has all the gold" storyline that I assume they were running. Granted, I'm making assumptions about a company that changes direction on a monthly basis.
Kurt Angle defeated Matt Morgan and Sting to retain the TNA World title (Angle pinned Morgan, chairshot)
You know, in a match with those three you really kind of expect a match with a clean finish, just because Angle and Sting never lose any heat by losing cleanly, and Morgan is a young guy getting his first shot, so loses nothing by being beaten by either savvy veteran. Instead, we get Angle with the chair for yet another bad finish.
Let's take a look at some of the lovely finishes on this show
1. A low blow leading to a rollup
2. A rollup of the non-champ leading to a title change, also a man pinning a woman
3. A double pin in a tag match involving two referees with instant replay determining the winner
4. A missed finish due to bad camera-work that also included managerial interference
5. The main event, involving the greatest wrestler in TNA and two other solid wrestlers, ending with a ref bump and chairshots aplenty.
Well, it's no secret what I think, how about Buddy?
Before I Rate This, Has Kurt Angle Left Yet?
Tonight's Host:
Don't Look Directly Into His Eyes! The Dreaminess Is Overwhelming!
Last week, Real American Zero Sergeant Slobber decided as his last act as guest host (and potentially his last living act had he not immediately left Canada) would be to make the main event for tonight's Raw the wacky duo of Randy Orton and John Cena against the Unified Tag Champions, Chris Jericho and The Big Show. Doesn't that kind of undermine this week's host's powers? I mean, more than his acting talent already does?
Yes, this week's host is the man of eternal mystery*, Freddie Prinze Jr, noted wrestling enthusiast, former member of the WWE Creative team, and husband of the infinitely cooler Buffy the Vampire Slayer. And one can only imagine what he's got in store this week. Maybe he'll expose the incredibly stale booking and introduce a fresh new style! Or maybe he'll book Divas in fantasy matches and blow off the Miz, who will once again think that being on The Real World makes him a Hollywood star. Whatever's easier.
And D-Generation X has made their reunion, as the advertising trumpets, "for the first time in NEARLY A YEAR". At this rate, they'll be leaving and returning on a bi-weekly basis in a couple years. Anyway, what wacky hijinks will these two 40+ year-old rebels perpetrate on the uptight and clean-cut 20-something Legacy? Damn, I feel like I'm writing the script for American Pie 12 (I hear in this one, a middle-aged Jim gets his penis caught in a colostomy bag, with hilarious results).
And in another match teased for tonight, MVP looks to deal with the playground bully, Jack Swagger, but will Swagger accept his challenge? Plus, Gail Kim is now the #1 contender to the Divas title and will presumably be preparing to make the most of her opportunity against the current champion, Mickie James. All this and more, tonight on Raw!
* - The Freddie Prinze Jr. Conundrum – Does he just choose to act in crappy movies, or are they decent movies made crappy by his presence in them? (Research Patent Pending)
Sign #143 That She's Just Not Into You
In case you hadn't heard about it yet, Kurt Angle was arrested this weekend after a series of events involving his live-in girlfriend, TNA Knockout Rhaka Khan. On Saturday morning, Khan filed a protection from abuse order against Angle following an incident at their home, which was served to Angle. Several hours later, Khan again called the police, claiming that Angle was actively stalking her by circling the parking lot at the Starbucks in which she was located. Angle was arrested and initially charged with violation of the protection order and harassment, as well as driving with a suspended license (from a previously reported DUI), and possession of syringes of HGH found inside his car. Angle was arraigned on the weekend and released on bail in time to attend the PPV last night (obviously). He will have a preliminary hearing about the charges on Tuesday morning in Pittsburgh.
TNA, obviously, is not overly worried about the charges, as Angle retained the TNA World title last night at Hard Justice, likely in furtherance of the "MEM has all the titles" storyline. Angle has claimed that he can provide a prescription for the HGH, which if true will likely reduce the charges. In fact, of the charges, the one with the potential for heaviest penalty is driving with a suspended license, which carries quite stiff punishments, including potential jail time. In addition, this can only be a blow to Angle's standing in TNA, following his recent apparent grab for increased power which led to Jeff Jarrett's imposed sabbatical and the firings of Dutch Mantel and Savio Vega.
I swear, if TNA just gave up on writing shows and started videotaping their wrestlers 24/7, they'd probably end up with higher television ratings. Granted, it'd be for the same reason that Jerry Springer still has viewers, but who doesn't want to see if Shark Boy snorts coke off the thighs of hundred-dollar hookers in his spare time?
DISCLAIMER: As far as we at the Experience know, Shark Boy is an upstanding member of society with no private vices that could lead to public disgrace. For your reading enjoyment, please replace "Shark Boy" in the previous news story with whichever pro wrestler you would, in fact, like to see if they have uncontrollable drug and sex-related habits.
Meanwhile, it seems like Kurt Angle's life has taken another sad turn, a downward spiral which has dated back several years, led to his release from WWE, separation and divorce from his wife, the previously mentioned DUI arrest, and now this latest public debacle. Sadly, it seems that the only person who can possibly reverse this slide is Angle himself, who has already shown on at least one occasion that he is unwilling, or potentially unable, to take a break from pro wrestling and sort his life out.
The Latest Reason To Wish You Were Canadian
In the wake of the firings of Dutch Mantel and Savio Vega last week, voids on the TNA backstage team have opened up, and they were quick to fill one of them, as Scott D'Amore, previously leader of Team Canada, and also the initial driving force behind TNA's original Knockouts division, has been brought back in to resume his role as behind-the-scenes head of the Knockouts. While D'Amore's previous work with the women of TNA has been lauded by many, some might point out that it's not that hard to build a hot division when you headline it with Gail Kim, one of the highest-skilled female wrestlers available at the time, and Awesome Kong, who is pretty much the easiest woman to ever book a division around (Week 1: Kong kills her opponent in dominating fashion. Week 2-30: Repeat Week 31: Have spunky challenger beat Kong for title. Eventually, have Kong win title back and repeat sequence.). Still, at least now there's somebody running some part of the TNA ship again. At this point, I'd say stability would be a good idea.
The Comments Section Will Never Leave This Alone
Yes, in light of the Horsemen reunion on the independent circuit, the infamous Paul Roma, who could have probably milked "I was the most hated Horseman" for years as an actual wrestling gimmick had he not gotten blackballed for screwing over Alex Wright, delivered a fun little interview. Roma claimed that he was not invited to the Horsemen reunion because all the other "old guys" are afraid that he would show them up by being younger and prettier and generally awesome. According to eyewitnesses, Roma did make sure that none of the Horsemen were actually in earshot when he said it.
You know, it is things like this that make me ashamed that Power and Glory were one of my favourite tag teams as a young child. I think I can take some solace in the fact that it was more because I liked Hercules. Not much solace, though.
The Future of TNA
From delivering ten dollar PPV's every Wednesday in lieu of actual television to this, apparently TNA is trying to negotiate a new TV deal with Spike TV that will see them add another 1 or 2 hours of programming every week. This will undoubtedly fuel speculation (likely justified), that TNA is looking to add a second show to their repertoire, with feelings seemingly divided between a Knockouts show, an X-Division show, and just televising the weekly Spin Cycle. I would actually put the highest likelihood on the Spin Cycle idea, which I've found to be an interesting show online. Frankly, if WWE, even at the peak of popularity with some of the most-watched women's wrestlers in the world, decided that a women's show would be unfeasible, I can't see a Knockouts show finding any level of success at this point in time. Meanwhile, an X Division show would completely undercut the original intent of the division, which was that it had no limits to who was eligible. And yes, I know, they undercut that on a weekly basis anyway, but segregating them onto a program that would no doubt be seen as a "B" show would completely remove any semblance of equality between the X Division and everyone else in TNA. Frankly, it'd be like back when Velocity existed so that guys like Jimmy Wang Yang could get wins over people who mattered less than him, so that the "real" Superstars could beat him up and claim victory over a "name" guy on Smackdown.
Although I do miss Velocity. By the end, it was probably the best wrestling show on TV at the time, given that all the jobber talent just busted out good matches because nobody cared what they did anyway. Plus, if it weren't for Velocity and its bastard cousin Heat, we wouldn't have Small and Slimmer. Dammit, I knew there was a catch somewhere.
Feeling Bizarre
All right, I guess it's not going to come as a big surprise to anyone, but it has come to be general opinion around the Experience that Smackdown is the wrestling show that rocks the body that rocks the spirit, while Raw is more and more a chore to sit down and watch every Monday. And rather than actually fix the very real problems with their flagship show's booking strategies, WWE decided to slap a promotional bandage on it and bring in semi-celebrity guest hosts to distract from the fact that the standard Raw show hasn't changed all that much in quite a long period of time. And the ratings have responded, despite the fact that outside of the World title storyline, which usually ties in with the guest host's duties for the night, the rest of the show is pretty nondescript and forgettable. But, at least the guest hosts are serving a purpose of some sort, and their one-show appearance usually follows a nice "set-up->match/payoff" structure every week that sends people home satisfied for the week.
Until WWE went into Calgary and spent three segments of Raw using their guest host to take potshots at the live Canadian audience, insulting their flag, their national anthem, and their wrestling hero.
First of all, I don't actually have a problem with WWE using foreign countries, including Canada, and their dislike of the ultra-patriotic USA as gimmicks. When done right, it draws money and gives wrestlers relatively easy careers for life (hell, the Iron Sheik could probably still draw money today if he could actually take a bump anymore). And I've seen my share of "patriotic Canadians" treated like jobbers by pro-American wrestlers, which, although stupid because it has stalled the careers of some really good wrestlers. And yes, we've all seen Shawn Michaels taking shots at "Bizarro World" whenever they're brave enough to put him on TV during televised Canadian events, which, hey, if it draws heat for Shawn's match later, more power to him. The important thing is, whether it was the Un-Americans, the Quebecers, or another go-round of the Montreal finish, it's all been used to further storylines, create feuds, and always, always, has some sort of blowoff.
However, the stuff with Sergeant Slaughter last Monday? Well, no Canadian wrestlers came out to defend their country. Slaughter didn't use his heat to debut a new ultra-patriotic heel wrestler who could get off to a great start, heat-wise, in that situation. Hell, no existing wrestler came out to agree with Sarge and garner some heat for their match later on. Okay, Jericho came out against Canada as well, but that was unrelated to Sarge's segments and an obvious desperate attempt by WWE to alter fan reaction the way they wanted it portrayed on television. The point is, Sarge spent thirty minutes of television time, more or less, coming out and mocking an arena full of fans and however many Canadians watching on TV, for....what? As I said, there was no payoff last week, and Sarge's guest hosting gig is done, so there won't be any payoff in the future. And you can't say "well, they put the Hart Dynasty over Jeff Hardy on Smackdown, so shut your pie-hole", because while that was an excellent bit of booking, it just accentuates the problem: WWE knows exactly what the right thing to do to promote their product and wrestlers in a way that the fans in attendance would enjoy, and on Raw, they deliberately and blatantly did the opposite. Instead, they chose to send their guest host out to essentially piss on the fans who had paid tickets to support their product, in a way that completely failed to promote any wrestlers, feuds, or matches on Raw or any future shows.
This is not a call to action of any sort. I don't ask for anyone to support me, and I actually don't care if you do. This is simply my line in the sand, and the only way I can send a message to WWE that they actually should pay attention to.
Now, I'm not a ratings family (although, oddly, my parents are...I hope the Weather Network enjoys the increased ratings), so they don't care if I never watch Raw again. Plus, let's face it, I'm weak and as mentioned, Smackdown is still good in my books, so you know I'm going to keep watching. So there must be another way...wait, I've got it.
See this?
Yep, that's forty dollars. Canadian. It's also the purchase price for a WWE PPV. Readers may have noticed that lately, I've been buying a lot more PPV's that ever before, thanks to dual incomes and a fiancée who likes wrestling. In fact, we were probably going to buy SummerSlam, because CM Punk vs Jeff Hardy, despite causing a fair amount of tension in the house, looks like it will be an awesome end (?) to a great feud.
However, due to the fact that WWE spent a large portion of their flagship show telling their Canadian audience that they don't really want us to watch WWE anyway, because Canada is crazy and doesn't apparently enjoy the "right" parts of the product, this forty dollars will be going here:
Buddy Hopes You Get The Pun
Yep, that is a small jar containing the forty dollars I would have spent on SummerSlam. And after Breaking Point, it will contain another forty dollars. And after Hell in the Cell...well, you get the picture.
Congratulations, WWE. You've made it so that I can enjoy your product for absolutely free, and create a nice little savings account in the process. You no longer have to worry about booking the product to make me happy, because you don't profit off my involvement. Of course, on the other hand, I'm a lifelong WWE fan who would have been willing to spend lots of money on my interest if I enjoyed it, and now I've decided put that money to use supporting something else, possibly something that competes with your product. I don't know, that seems like it might be a symptom of some sort of larger issue at work, what do you think?

From last week's Experience:

Well, they skipped the punishment matches, but true to my prediction, The Miz is back on Raw, probably to get stuck in the morass with the other half-dozen US Title contenders.
- "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero, TNA, made TNA debut at Hard Justice PPV
In case you were wondering, yes, this is Elijah Burke. Not sure how much better he'll be used as part of the TNA X-Division, but at least he's being used.

I'm no Canadian, but I agree with you 100% on your stance with WWE. When it was at its peak, it fed off the pulse of the fans. It saw what the fans liked, and booked towards it. All its been for the past couple of years though is a cluster-fuck of short term booking, and expecting the fans to accept it and watch. Raw is staler now than it was back in 95, which was a horrible time. They need to start getting back in touch with their fans. I'd love to go back to watching again, but man, whenever I tune in its the same old tired shit, and I figure screw it, I can find something else to do instead.
Also, I love that you pointed out that DX is in their 40s but WWE expects the fans to look at them as cool hip trend-setters. It worked back in the day because they were young, making them easier for the fans at the time(myself included) to relate to. It was cool to see the young guys rebel against the old system, THAT is what made DX work. Now...its the same tired old jokes by guys that are basically a part of the system....but now they're rebelling against the young guys now???? The old guys making what come off as creepy puns are supposed to be the hip ones you root for now??? It makes no sense!!!! It goes entirely against what made DX cool and hip and edgy back in the day. Ugh, man, WWE needs TNA to rise up and be their rival in the ratings war like back in the Monday Night Wars to force some creativity out. Right now the WWE is just stuck in circle that just keeps looping back to the same old stuff over and over and over again.

LOL at that first Buddy picture! Classic!
I guess since I'm not Canadian I can't really sympathize with you on the Sgt. Slaughter thing. However, I CAN sympathize with you not spending money on WWE's crappy product. So any excuse is good!
Ugh, can't wait to explain to my Dad who Freddie Prinze Jr. is, and what makes him a celebrity.

*Stands up and claps*
That's right, you deserve that standing ovation Mr Randle, because as a fellow Canadian I'm sick of getting pissed on by the WWE. We stuck by McMahon through all the lean years, we stuck by McMahon when he screwed a national hero, we watched as all of our wrestlers were no longer deemed good enough to have their places of birth being listed as Canadian (unless they were EEEEEEEEEVIL), etc etc etc. But enough is enough, and it's time for a change! Sure there are only a few of us who will really care, but I'm sick of it and I'm glad someone finally stood up and said something about. And before anyone jumps down our throats, just think for a second how anyone would feel if this would happen constantly when the E came to your country. The only country that could possibly even come close would be the UK, but they got Summerslam 92 and William Regal has always been treated pretty well (minus the "man's, man" of course). This just doesn't happen to anyone else, and it's ridiculous! So screw 'em!

I, too, would like to know if The Miz is still banned from Summerfest.

You think that TNA sided with the wrong guy in the Jarrett / Angle feud? I love Angle in the ring, but do we need another top wrestler in a downward spiral?

I agree, some of these stupid guest hosts have made me change the channel, something I rarely have done when WWE is on. The stupid Asian idiot was too annoying to be watched, and Slaughter simply WASTED a ton of TV time that could've been spent on getting someone over, or maybe having Kofi defend the US belt, or maybe build up a credible challenger for JeriShow once Cryme Tyme gets jobbed out. What a stupid waste of time.

I'm not Canadian but I totally agree with you. It was really just low class mocking of Canada. It's one thing to have the evil foreign gimick, but to mock the entire country? And for what? Do you think when they tour Australia or Japan they mock them? No. It's pointless and stupid, so it makes total sense that WWE would do it.
I especially hated that they had Jericho say he was born in the US. So he has been cliaming to be Canadian for 19 years because........? Exactly, once again it's stupid and pointless. I really wish the writing wasn't so moronic because I really enjoy the actual WRESTLING part of the show.
Posted By: DC (Guest) on August 17, 2009 at 09:38 AM
I don't know why it's so hard for wrestling experts to understand that Friday is the show for new stars and hot action and Monday's show is for established superstars that are proven main-eventers. They are either doing it on purpose or massively retarded. What the IWC refuses to accept is that a LOT of fans tune in to see Cena, HHH, Orton, Batista and HBK.

Well...TNA's product is just as stale as the WWE's. There is nothing new, or good, in either product, so, how about you spend your money on some REAL Pro Wrestling entertainment (Chikara, DGUSA....ROH!), Japanese Wrestling DVD's (Most cost SUBSTANTIALLY less for even better entertainment value)...
Or how about this? Don't fund ANYTHING... Abuse the HELL outta JTV, or how about saying "screw everything" and buy UFC shows! It's real and the products generally don't suck (Well, unless you are talking about Lesnar)!
That's what I've done, and I am really happier I didtched the CRAP that is WWE/TNA.

I have to agree that the Sgt. Slaughter skits were terrible and had to have done more harm than good. I'm not Canadian but as someone with good taste, however questionable as a result of being a wrestling fan, I hated the segments.
Buddy is absolutely correct to check that Kurt Angle is out of earshot, that HGH seems to make him cranky. Speaking of, even if he has a RX why would you be driving around with a syringe full of it? Does he have a medical condition that might require an emergency injection? Seems unlikely....
Loved the CSI:Miami tag at the end. Good stuff.

Who knew that Canada was populated by a bunch of bitchy little girls?
Heels always talk shit about places they visit and frequently get no comeuppence.
You're not that special.

GREAT slapsgiving quote. I've got the song as one of my ringtones :-)

I agree with you about saving your money rather than purchasing some of the E's PPV offerings. But your reason for doing so is ridiculous. While your reasoning was well written, it still comes across like this:
"Ohh Nooezz, Sgt Slaughter made fun of Canada!! I live in Canada!! My feelings are hurt!! I'm not going to buy your poopy PPV's anymore until you apologize!!"
I mean, seriously dude? This is wrestling. That is what heels do. How many times do you see a heel go to some random city and start ragging on the local sports teams or elected officials? And most of the time, they don't get any comeuppance before the end of the night. They do that to get the crowd to boo and, you know, be INVOLVED. Get fired up. Because a fired up crowd is more likely to get into a show than a bored crowd is.
Did Sgt Slaughter making fun of Canada serve any greater purpose? No. But it was funny as hell. Maybe it wasn't funny to you since, apparently, you're Mr. Canada. But to a lot of people, including myself, it was ENTERTAINING and that is what wrestling is all about: entertaining the audience. It gave the crowd a reason to boo and the fans at home a chance to either boo as well or laugh. And you said Slaughter's segments took up 30 minutes? Each segment was 5 minutes TOPS so Sarge wasn't out there for more then about 10-15 minutes.
How many ridiculous, stupid, unfunny, unnecessary skits have we seen from the WWE over the years? TONS! That's why it confuses the hell out of me that THIS is the straw that broke your back. Not Katie Vick. Not Dr Heinie. Not Heidenreich. Not Dr Ken. But Sarge making fun of Canada is TOO MUCH and will not be tolerated!! What??
I stopped buying some WWE's PPV's too, but that is due to them charging $40 frequently for shitty cards. So I'll go to a friends house and watch those shows. But if they put on a good looking card, I'll gladly fork over my money to show them that I want to see shows like THAT. I've been able to save a good amount of coin by not buying every single WWE PPV so I'm in full agreement with you doing the same because you'll be surprised by how much money you save. But your reasoning is ridiculous (at least in my eyes).
Don't buy their PPV's because you are bored with the product or you're tired of the same old matches. But to not buy anymore PPV's because of Sarge making fun of Canada? Geez, sensitive much?

Funny thing is, the Canadian crowds tend to be the hottest crowds (along with us Brits) which makes a massive difference to the action in the ring. The American crowds can be the best, but on the other hand, they can be eerily quiet. They don't want to alienate Canadians for future events.
Speaking on Eerie. The only thing I remotely enjoyed on Raw was the Women's match. I'm actually looking more forward to see Mickie and Gail than Orton vs Cena. That might just be the perv in me, but thats a contest I've been wanting to see. Hopefully they'll let them have 8 or so mins at Summerfest.
Whereas Smackdown keeps rolling along very nicely. At this rate I'm begging for Smackdown to have their own PPV's. However, they put important matches on free tv. No complaints there from me.
I'm looking forward to Punk vs Hardy TLC big time. The event where TLC was born 9 years ago. I initially thought that they'd hold this back until Jeff's return. I was partially excited at the prospect of Matt & MORRISON in the match. However, this is the culmination of the hottest feud of the year and it should just come down to the two of them (or will it?). Hopefully the right man will go over. Punk.
I'm absurdly interested in Khali beating the piss out of Kane as well. Though I smell a Runjin Singh heel turn. I can't believe I just typed this paragraph.

When I went to Smackdown in May 2008 in Hamilton Edge was standing beside Vickie during a promo on the ramp, came out and won a battle royal and was out for maybe a minute....didn't say one thing.
Then during the Supershow in Toronto in December he HAD A BACKSTAGE PROMO BUT YET HE DIDN'T COME OUT ONCE.
It makes me sick seeing how they try so hard for us to boo Canadians.
Vince has lost his sense of anything. I'm never going to a WWE show again unless it's Wrestlemania, because they'll just water it down and try to not show any Canadians that aren't faces.
