Rasslin' Roundtable 12.2.00: ECW's Massacre On 34th Street
Posted by PK on 12.02.2000
We here at 411 will give our views on the matches for ECW's Massacre on 34th Street.
With the major problems in ECW right now, this is a very big PPV for the promotion. Everyone needs a great showing, but the current card is weak with only 5 matches announced. We here at 411 will give our views on the matches for ECW's Massacre on 34th Street.
Mikey Whipwreck & Yoshihiro Tajiri vs. Super Crazy & Mystery Partner
PK: The whole mystery partner thing interests me, so I'll go with Crazy's team
Winners - Super Crazy and ?
Widro: I'll go with Crazy and the mystery partner.
Winners - Crazy and ???
Sean: Usually the team with the mystery partner comes out on top. Not much of a point to build a crowd and then shoot them back down.
Winners - Crazy & ???
Tommy Dreamer vs. C.W. Anderson
PK: Dreamer is a true leader, he is the one man in ECW that will stick it out in the end, and I think he should have a long run as champion before the major problems ECW is having causes them to close down shop, and Anderson is a stepping stone.
Winner - Tommy Dreamer
Widro: I'll go with Anderson, as Dreamer wants to put over the new talent.
Winner - Anderson
Sean: The times I've seen Dreamer at the top of his game, he's been pretty awesome. I look for him to take this one in a good match.
Winner - Dreamer
FBI (c) vs. Danny Doring & Roadkill - Tag Titles, if Doring and Roadkill lose, they must split up
PK: Doring and Roadkill have been chasing after the belts for the better part of the past year, and this will finally be their break.
Winners and New Champions - Doring and Roadkill
Widro: The FBI won the titles with this exact stipulation, so I'll go with Doring and Roadkill here to continue that trend.
Winners and New Champions: Roadkill and Doring
Sean: ECW needs a fresh angle with this. I see Doring and Roadkill losing and feuding in the near future.
Winners and Still Champions - FBI
Rhino (c) vs. Spike Dudley - TV Title
PK: Spike is a giant killer, he has wins over Viscera, Bam Bam Bigalow, and his big brothers, D-Von and Buh Buh Ray, not to mention Big Dick. But, the man beast Rhino will take out Little Spike.
Winner and Still Champion - Rhino
Widro: No reason for Spike to get the title here unless they are finally going to elevate Rhino. I'll go with Rhino.
Winner and Still Champion - Rhino
Sean: If this whole payroll problem continues, Rhino may be one of the first to go. I expect him to drop the title here, maybe by a screwjob.
Winner and New Champion - Spike Dudley
Steve Corino (c) vs. Jerry Lynn vs. Justin Credible - World Title
PK: Lynn is not a reality, since a jump may be coming soon. Credible got boring as Champ, and I think Heyman knew that. Corino is young and fresh, and I think he will keep it.
Winner and Still Champion - Corino
Widro: Makes no sense to move the title to Lynn, who is leaving the promotion, and makes no sense to give the title back to Justin...
Winner and Still Champion - Stevie Corino
Sean: I may be wrong, but Lynn may be WWF bound soon. I say that eliminates
him. I'm going to say that we see a new champion crowned here in Justin
Credible.
Winner and New Champion - Justin Credible
