Welcome to YEAR NINE, WEEK 33 of 411’s Wrestler of the Week. A quick overview of the rules to kick things off for us as a reminder…

Each writer chooses FIVE wrestlers (although ties and tag teams are allowed) from any promotion and each wrestler gets a point total attached to that ranking. It looks a little like this…

1st – 5
2nd – 4
3rd – 3
4th – 2
5th – 1

Then we tally up the votes and the official 411 Wrestler of the Week is crowned. But wait, there’s more! Each week the top SIX vote getters get a points value for their ranking which looks something like this…

1st – 15
2nd – 12
3rd – 9
4th – 6
5th – 3
6th – 1

…and they go towards the 411 Wrestler of the Year award to be announced each year around WrestleMania. This will be posted every Tuesday (the voting week runs Monday through Sunday). Let’s see who wins this week…

1) Roman Reigns
Following all of the rumors, many felt as if the survivor Series could be a huge showcase for Roman Reigns and it was. The match was really all about him, eliminating four of his five opponents with the spear, and got a great crowd reaction by doing so. While I think it is too soon for a big push for Reigns, this is a great way to help lay the groundwork for that. His identity is as part of a unit, but this is something to set himself apart from the group.

2) Big E. Langston: Defeated Curtis Axel on Raw to win the IC Title and then won the rematch on PPV. he also tagged with former BFF Dolph Ziggler on Smackdown to score a victory over Damien Sandown and Axel.
3) Bobby Roode and Magnus: Both won TNA Title Tournament matches on the Turning Point edition of Impact Wrestling.
4) John Cena
5) Mr. Anderson

1) Roman Reigns
Survivor Series was a pretty lackluster pay per view by just about all accounts, but one of the few highlights was WWE pulling the trigger on what looks like an effort to break Roman Reigns out of the Shield and turn him into a singles star, likely as a babyface. He scored some huge wins, including over the returning Rey Misterio, Jr.

2) Big E Langston: Lately winning the Intercontinental Title has seemed like a sentence to midcard purgatory, but something about Langston’s IC strap victory this week felt different, as though they’re legitimately trying to make him a bigger name. It helps that he was also successful in tag action on Smackdown and an Intercontinental rematch on pay per view.
3) Akebono: Big Bono picked up the first successful defense of his All Japan Triple Crown this week, defeating Joe Doering in Nagano.
4) HARASHIMA
5) Mark Henry

Jarrod Atkinson
1) Roman Reigns
I was correct in naming Reigns as a survivor in this match, but Roman has been given the chance to shine and took a step up in becoming a huge singles star at Survivor Series. I’m a big fan of The Shield, but we all know that will eventually come to an end and it seems that Reigns is the first one with the chance to grab the brass ring.

2) CM Punk and Daniel Bryan: Stealing the show in a tag team match against the Wyatt Family at Survivor Series, Punk and Bryan are making the best of a situation that seems a bit beneath them. Seriously, Orton and Show should never main event a Pay Per View.
3) Ken Anderson: Mr. Anderson mercifully ended the Aces and Eights storyline with a victory over Bully Ray on Impact this week. If this was a non PPV week that would’ve been enough to earn the #1 spot, but this week Ken will have to settle for #3.
4) Big E Langston
5) Magnus

Robert S. Leighty Jr
1) Big E Langston
I have always said that winning a title would count for more than anything else. With that said, Big E gets the nod from me for winning the IC Title and then defending it successfully.

2) Roman Reigns: Reigns is the sole survivor in the elimination tag match and this is just the start of what will probably be a monster push for him.
3) CM Punk and Daniel Bryan: These two were on the winning team in the 12 man on RAW (in what was a fun match) and then won again at the PPV against the Wyatts in another fun match.
4) Bobby Roode
5) Magnus

Chris Pilkington
1) Ken Anderson:
Since their inception some fifteen months ago, Aces and Eights have dominated TNA story lines. Many tried to end them but only one man was able to wipe out the faction for good. When you consider that the likes of Sting, Hogan, Angle and Samoa Joe couldn’t get the job done, Anderson’s victory over Bully Ray has to go down as a huge moment deserving of the top spot.

2) Roman Reigns: Since The Shield’s debut and up until fairly recently, all of the talk has been about Rollins and Ambrose. After Sunday nights Survivor Series PPV, nobody can argue against Reigns being the man with the biggest potential to break out of the pack. In fact, Reigns is now the only male competitor in Survivor Series history to eliminate four competitors in one match. A big week for a big man.
3) Liam “Payne Train” Payne In his debut match, Liam Payne defeated Olympic gold medallist Kurt Angle in less than three minutes. Not even the mighty John Cena managed that! Payne, better known as a member of boy band One Direction, must have surely earned himself a WWE or TNA tryout after that amazing display.
4) John Cena
5) Bobby Roode

Jack McGee
1) Bobby Roode and Magnus
The TNA World Title Tournament continues, and this week we had two matches. Bobby Roode and Magnus took the victories this week in two of the highlighted matches on the show, and Roode will move on to face Jeff Hardy while Magnus will face Kurt Angle. I have enjoyed the tournament thus far, and felt that they have done a good job of making them feel important.

2) Roman Reigns: A guy WWE reportedly has big plans for, and that looks legit following his dominating performance at the WWE Survivor Series. Four spears and four eliminations for your sole survivor.
3) Big E. Langston: Won the WWE IC Title, and looks to be on the path to bigger and better things as WWE reportedly has big plans for him.
4) Mr. Anderson
5) John Cena

Paul Lapointe
1) Roman Reigns
Well one of the only things to come out of Survivor Series that did any good…ok the only thing really was the impressive booking of The Shields big muscle. I will readily admit that though I predicted in the Round table pretty much everything that would transpire to a tee that Wicked Spear from the 619 set up caught me by surprise and I am happy for that. This booking shows that Vince and HHH may have faith in Reigns going into the new year and with the face reactions he was getting even after devastating a returning beloved babyface in Rey is a good sign, I am hoping he seasons up and turns into something in the future along hopefully with the rest of the Shield in some capacity. Time will tell on this one.

2) Big E. Langston: Won the IC title from Mr. Not Perfect on RAW, dominated a tag match on Smackdown and then rinse and repeated those acts at SS. I am a proponent of Big E as a big player going forward and not just because he is the reverse Indy Guy looking guy. WWE seems to watch to again push larger then life guys and though Big E fits that mold he is both humble in attitude and has untapped potential on the MIC if his tweets with AJ are any indication and his cheap pop tactic at SS would indicate. Plus he is agile, willing to adapt as opposed to one dimensional in the ring and if all goes well in a few years he could be the first African American champ (100 percent that is) that the WWE has been looking for all these years.
3) Mr. Anderson: And the death toll of Aces and 8’s meets its death nerve with a whimper. It dies from within like a heart attack on an old man, its was already clinging to life but now it just gave up on itself…sigh. Thank you Mr. Asshole
4) Roode and Magnus
5) Mark Henry

Justin Watry
1) Roman Reigns
Easy choice. Survivor Series has come and gone without much fanfare. Randy Orton and John Cena kept their titles. CM Punk and Daniel Bryan defeated The Wyatt Family. All of that was par the course. What stood out was Roman Reigns. He was the sole survivor of his team, and his finisher looks LEGITIMATE! That can go a look way for somebody looking to move up the card. For now, Reigns is a beast. Let’s see what happens next…

2) Big E Langston: I was all set to make him my number one choice. Big E won his first single’s gold on the main roster, and it was received well. The live crowd likes him, and he seems more than ready to carry the ball…at least at the IC Title level. Anybody is better than Curtis Axel at this point.
3) John Cena: John Cena continues to make the World Championship mean something. Throughout his entire career, he has done many great things for this company. Even though he has held this particular belt in the past, if he can somehow bring some prestige back, that would be yet another “plus” on his record.
4) Xavier Woods
5) Mark Henry
