My Take On 12.30.13 Csonka’s 2013 PPV Overview
WELCOME!
Welcome back to the latest edition of My Take On. It is that time of year when I use the column to take a look back at the year that was. With the individual company reviews complete, this is the catch up; a quick overview for you in case you missed the individual columns. It is also a quick guide to see how I rated the PPV events in 2013, and how they stacked up against each other in case you didn’t feel like reading a bunch of separate columns. In this column will be the links to the individual company reviews, which will give you some more explanation as to why some shows were scored the way that they were. The information compiled in this column came from reviewing nearly 70 (I believe the official count was 68) iPPV and or PPV events from around the world. Thanks for taking the time to check out the column…
CSONKA’s WORST PPV EVENTS of 2013 (4.0 and Under)
CSONKA’s TOP PPV EVENTS of 2013 (8.5 and Above)
CSONKA’s TOP PPV MATCHES of 2013 (****½ and Higher)
WHAT I AM REVIEWING IN 2014
IN CLOSING
Whether you agreed with me or did not agree with me it doesn’t really matter, because I appreciated you reading and following along in 2013. I know that we often disagree, and that is completely fine. If you have a disagreement, just bring your opinion with some respect is all I ask. At the end of the day we are all fans with strong opinions, and I look forward to reading yours.
I am not sure why, but when 2013 started I decided that I wanted to cover as much PPV as possible in the year, and I did that by looking at nearly 70 events in total from WWE, TNA, ROH, DGUSA, EVOLVE, FIP, SHINE, Dragon Gate proper and CMLL. It was a long year, but something I am proud of. If you were along for the ride, I greatly appreciate you reading. If you only checked out the year-end stuff, I still appreciate your time and reading.
In closing, I just want to say one thing: I am never reviewing this many shows again…
