The Wrestling 5&1 12.27.13 Layla El vs Sunny

December 28, 2013 | Posted by Tony Acero

Merry Belated Christmas, everyone! If that’s not your thing, then that’s a shame; it rolls off the tongue so well. Considering this is a holiday week, and the column comes out smack dab in the middle of two nights that incorporate immense amount of alcohols, you’re definitely getting filler.

TNA Gets A Mention!?

Yes! Yes! Yes! Facebook page, I posted this pic for all to comment on…

It looks like Layla wants back in the Hall of Bang, as she beats Kelly Kelly, even if just barely. This week, she goes up against a lady who looks nothing like the photos I’ve used…SUNNY!

And now…..

Voting ends Wednesday night and you can vote once every hour!

AJ LEEEEEEEEE

The Best Kind of Filler…

Best Tag Team of 2013?

We get the rumors every year about a tag team resurgence, and although there is a great piece over in Greg DeMarco’s “World’s Most Dangerous Column,” written by the great Patrick O’Dowd telling us just why we shouldn’t be getting excited, I can’t help but do just that. With this upheaval of teams, who would you say is your favorite?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Last week had some good conversation that included Greg DeMarco stopping by to let us know that CM Punk is going to win the Rumble, and Bryan will be facing Triple H! I’d love to see it! Golf Wang sees Bryan and Punk being involved with HBK and HHH, and I can see why, while CDN thinks Bryan will be losing the beard soon. I don’t see it, as it’s become his staple. Porn-Peddling Jef Vinson gets a mention just for being a porn peddler. SHADE is “fathomed” by us, which I suppose is true to an extent considering we acknowledge that he exists. He takes some offense to us assuming Bryan to be thew winner, and thinks a darkhorse of sorts will win. What if Orton loses, ol Shade?

Aaron Scott Jockers wonders why I didn’t bring up the AJ Lee and some random chick incident at Tribute to the Troops. AJ can do no wrong. Acero Hater Reinhold voted for Jeff Goldblum, who I happen to share a birthday while Vanquishgc wonders who the final four in the Rumble will be this coming edition. A good idea for a future point. Darth Kai wants more AJ Lee GIFS, and I supply them this week! OPAN reminds us just how awesome the comment section can be when he opened up the floor for great discussion regarding wins/losses, old school booking, and enjoying stories unfolding and finally, Mizzark talks about gravity.

What a cute lil reindeer!!
