WRestling’s 3R’s 5.05.06: Viva La Resistance, Global Impact Debuts, More Mid-Card Madness, The Great Empty and Alex Shelley~!
Posted by Larry Csonka on 05.05.2006

The 3R's of wRestling!

Welcome one and all to this week's installment of wRestling's 3R's! How are you kids, did you miss me? I know that is was odd that I took Tuesday off, but I needed it and it was great. Once again the 3R's have been busted into 2-columns so backlash got it's one column, which can be read HERE! With that out of the way, let's get to the rest of the week and don't forget to check out the Post-Backlash PODCAST!

Here is a quick explanation of the 3 R's. I will take the 3 main shows (4 if there is a PPV, 5 if I go RetRo) of the week: TNA Impact, WWE Raw, and WWE Smackdown. I then group my feelings on the shows in 3 categories: The Right, the wRong and the Ridiculous. The Right is stuff that worked very well: a great promo, a great match and so on. The wRong is what it sounds like: bad matches, bad or boring promos and so on. The Ridiculous is stuff that had no right on TV: Stupid angles, Diva searches and so on. And there is always a possibility of a 4th R, which is as bad as they come. This column is supposed to be analytical, and at the right time very critical of the shows, it was the whole reason it was created. This is not a "mark" column, nor a "smark" column, I cannot speak for Geoff, but my goal is to analyze the show from many different fronts, reward the good and call out the bad.

SmackDown!:

Here is my partner in crime, the man that always shares a piece of his mind and is known as the Whole F'n Show, he is Geoff Eubanks!

Smackdown 04.28.06:

Hey, Dunn, I dug the story about Natalie…don't know why, but I sat at my desk and just laughed…

Oh, and I wanted to share my Netflix movie quote of the week…something else that just had me rolling…well, not ROLLING, but, you know, laughing: "Zeh blood off zees whorahs ees keeling me…I just wont my coffin back…to sleep in…" - Udo Kier in the title role of Andy Warhol's "Blood For Dracula". If you've never checked out any of Warhol's forays into "horror", roll up a fat one and rent this one. You can't write comedy like this, and "Blood For Dracula" is even better than "Flesh For Frankenstien", where Kier, as the mad scientist proclaims the words, "Joo haff to FOCK…LIFE…en zee gall bladdah!" as he defiles the corpse of what will become the bride of Frankenstein's monster…oh, yes. HIGH camp.

Lastly, before we dive into this week's R's, I bow down to Joey Styles for delivering the single most AWESOME promo last Monday night on RAW since Paul Fucking Heyman's pre-SURVIVOR SERIES shoot on Vince McMahon prior to the end of the ECWCW inVasion angle. GOD BLESS YOU, Joey, for saying what the rest of us have been thinking SINCE Paul's shoot. You fucking RULE. And WELCOME BACK, JR!!!

The Right:

Delivered as billed! – Not that it took some crack wrestling analyst to predict that tonight's World Title match between Rey Mysterio and Kurt Angle was going to be, as Tazz is fond of saying, a rocketbuster, but we really had an amazing contest here. I really love the fact that these two, while it's obvious to look at them who should go over, always match up so well and provide a literal thrill-a-minute performance. I think, too, they managed to set this contest above and away from previous clashes, managing to make this one feel much more crucial, as the WT was on the line. The crowd was HOT, and that's always a definite plus, and I dug the dueling chants of "Let's go, Angle," in the bass voice, mirrored with "Let's go, Rey," in a decidedly higher pitch, similar to those John Cena's been receiving on RAW…perhaps the rumblings of a bad omen for Rey's chances of being seen as a legitimate WC…? Let's hope not, although I don't expect this to be a terribly long-winded tenure for Rey, unfortunately, because I dig him as Champ and I definitely believe in him! Altogether, considering what both Rey and Angle gave here tonight, I have nothing about which to complain…great effort by both! However…(scroll on down, kids).

The UST in the UK – See, all this business with Paul Burchill is all well and good and fine, but THIS is how I'd like to see William Regal utilized. As a matter of fact, could you imagine a four-way conflict over the UST in JBL the champ (thinking he's fighting for the honor of his country), defending against Finlay the Irishman, Chris Benoit the Canadian and Regal the Englishman? WOW, what a scrap! And this was simply a preview of what could most certainly come to pass. See, these are the situations implicit in JBL being USC, not challenging for the WT (although if the rumor mill ends up being true, in that JBL gets called out by Rob…Van…Dam at ECW: Sloppy Seconds and goes over to become the WC, I'll even forgive JBL last year's indiscretion with The Blue Meanie. Hmm. If he has to drop the title to R…V…D, though, he's likely to be one pissed off hombre…better hide afterward, Brian…LOL!). However, putting away the wishing stick and the crystal ball, this was simply a hell of a rugged, brutal contest, befitting a free-TV secondary title defense, and a great way to open the show and get the British crowd into the night's proceedings, so jolly frickin good!

London fog + Booker's delicate constitution = a match for Fightin Finlay – Booker and Sharmell are such absolute, mother-scratchin gold, week-in and week-out. He (again) feigned illness to get out of a match (I'm surprised Teddy Long allowed that to happen…was he even THERE…?) against Benoit's new protégé, Gunner Scott (am I alone in thinking that's a LAME ass name, and what's wRong with Brent Albright…?). Not only was Booker just completely phenomenal playing sick and setting up Scott for a "sound thrashing", Booker's outside interference to cost Scott the match (and send Finlay into next week's final opening round King Of The Ring match against Benoit with some momentum), the subsequent post-bout double-team beat down on Scott brought out Benoit to even the odds against the noob, and, all of a sudden, we have a little friction and a mini storyline going into next week's encounter, something over which I chastised McMahonagement last week when they set up a tag match among three of the four remaining opening round participants, and Orlando Jordan, who was obviously there to give Lashley momentum, when they could have set up a swell little such mini story between Lashley and Mark Henry. Altogether, great continuity and a fun way to get to such continuity, although if I were in attendance at Wembley, I'd have been bummed not to have seen Booker perform.

Look at all the shiny belts! – Well I'll be damned…we saw the World Title, the United States Title, the Tag Team Titles and the CruiserWeight Title all represented tonight, and it appears they all have stories going along with them, to say nothing of advancement in the KOTR tournament! See, this is all I ask. If you think enough of your talent to hang a belt around their waist (or in MNM's case, between their legs), put them on TV and give them a story. It seems fairly remedial booking to me.

The wRong:

Six men in four minutes – No, no…that's not Candice Michelle's "record", that's what was given to a CW tag match involving MNM & Gregory Helms and Paul London, Brian Kendrick & Super Crazy. Now really. Look at those names again. FOUR MINUTES. Are you shitting me? Now granted, there was some angle advancement, which is cool, but for one thing, London pinned Helms, the CWC. What was the point of having Super Crazy out there if London gets to steal his thunder? And doesn't it take away some of the heat building between London/Kendrick & MNM if London doesn't actually pin one of them? I only pray this isn't signaling some kind of break up of MNM. They're too good, and if MNM goes, so does the only tag division in WWE. ECW and dX are returning by summertime…don't mess me around and split up MNM!

So much for prestige – The third opening round match in the KOTR tournament was pretty well awful. It just goes to show that Lashley and Henry, for all their praise since debuting/returning, respectively (and in Henry's case, I mean those who aren't crying and screaming about him injuring Batista and Angle, which is NOT true), we saw pretty well what happens when these two aren't booked properly and paired off with people who know what they're doing. Lahley goes over The World's Strongest Man by countout?! Are you shitting me? That's the best we can do? I'm sorry, this was just piss-poor all the way around and puts a bit of a damper on the momentum we had going for us these last two weeks.

I'm just happy to be here! – For fuck's sake, Rey's even got the bitch interviewer dogging him. How about a little PRIDE, Rey? What happened to the whole "dreams can come true" and "your goal can be realized if you work hard enough" inspirational messages we took away from WrestleManina? Oh, I see. Now it's after WM and it's become, "…and anything beyond that dream is just luck"? Fuck that. THIS is how WWE brainwashes people into thinking that only big men can make it as world champions, rather than the old "anything can happen in the WWF" mode of thinking. You know, back when it was FUN. If I wanted to deal in fact, I'd watch a hell of a lot more UFC. Fact is, I want a little improbability mixed in with my violence, like the impossible dream that Rey can be a proud, confident champion and let some streetwalker like Kristal psyche him out of his game by chastising him. Rey can hang, people. Stop hating and let him show you.

And as long as we're discussing Rey – Let's wrap up that match. Now I'm gonna chill on why Henry came out and ruined a perfectly solid main event match until I hear what has to be some kind of explanation from him next week (likely, he's sick of being passed over for WT shots, since he's "deserved one" since Angle was still holding the belt). I'm just irritated that this didn't go clean. I understand that Angle's ribs are cracked and they wanted to write him off the show, especially since he's still in the KOTR tournament (or, was, since this injury has put him out and given Booker a bye to the Finals…so far, I'm batting 1000%!), but it was just such a random and haphazard way in which to do it…just not feelin it. We were on a roll having some awesome matches that were devoid of ref bumps, lame count-outs, shoddy DQs and run-ins, and we pretty much made up for it tonight. Color me disappointed…and still another reason I'm stoked to see ECW return!

The Ridiculous:

The Great Empty has, um, something to say…I guess – Really, is being over seven feet tall not enough that he has to try and talk? Come on. He's got Daivari. Let's let Daivari do the talking and let The Great Empty, you know, try not to kill anyone. Or better yet, let's make him the GM of Tim White's bar. I hear it's a touch depressing there. Maybe he'll just off himself and do us all a favor.

I'm sorry, did that say initiation…? – Well unless he's being initiated into eligibility for Social Security, what the HELL are we watching next week? Ooh! I know! How about if Taschlongka gets jumped in to WWE, gang style? I'd watch THAT!

RAW!:

Raw 5.01.06:

The Right:

The Cutting Edge - Edge started off on fire this past Monday, wasting no time getting right into his deal. He was on with no doubt, here's an example:

"John Cena didn't pin me last night he pinned Triple H. So that means I still have claim to the WWE Championship. But I should be used to it. I should be used to it. I don't get any respect around here. Just like at WrestleMania, one of the biggest victories of my career and it was tarnished. Tarnished because it was called by some third-rate ECW reject named Joey Styles."

That not only keeps with his character feeling tat he was ripped off in regards to the WWE title, but also played into Joey Styles and what happened later in the show. A very subtle thing that after what happened, happened, was even that much better.

Foley then came out and weaved his magic that he so often does, here is some of that:

See – for weeks on end, Edge that match is all I thought about 24/7. I watched the tape, I searched my soul trying to figure out where things had gone wrong. But the more I watched the tape, the more I searched my soul – I figured out things hadn't gone wrong for me that night. Things had gone very, very right. At WrestleMania, I was meaner than I'd ever been. More prepared, more focused, more hardcore than I'd ever been. The more I watched the tape the more I came to know on that one night I had been involved in one of the greatest hardcore matches of my career, but quite possibly the greatest hardcore match in wrestling history. If I did go wrong anywhere – it was in not realizing in that one night – April 2nd, 2006…I would be face to face to with the toughest son of a bitch in the toughest son of a bitch in the WWE.

He then shook Edge and Lita's hand and even was brave enough to kiss Lita. He eventually pissed Edge off enough and challenged him to a WrestleMania rematch right there. Edge wanted no part of it, but we did get the match confirmed for next week. This was great as Foley and Edge rocked on the mic, and really delivered. This could be another catalyst for the ECW revival, could we see some ECW shenanigans next week? We'll see.

Joey Styles: VIVA LA RESISTANCE~! - Well the first shot of the ECW rebirth was fired this past week and by of all people, Joey Styles. It's not that he wasn't the so called right choice, but just one I didn't think they would capitalize on. In all honesty, it was a damn good way of kicking things off. They have had the perfect story behind it as well, that is why it worked. Joey has been mocked on air by King and Coach in the past. They always knock ECW. He was pulled from WrestleMania and given a pitty match to call for the most part. Then, he is pulled from Backlash. Earlier in Raw Edge slammed him saying that his "3rd rate ECW announcing" ruined his shining moment at WrestleMania. Then he gets embarrassed by the Spirit Squad and insulted by his tag team partner in the booth. He snapped. When he came back out he said everything that he honestly believes. He started out by saying that he didn't call WWE, WWE called him and that he didn't need the job. That is completely true and a point that needed to be stressed. He hates sports entertainment, "superstars," God used in storylines, boogers, semen, story telling instead of commentary, he IS embarrassed by Vince McMahon, does respect the guys that bust their ass in the ring and thinks a troop of cheerleaders sucks. That was Joey Styles speaking and he meant it. The other think that was great is that it was that simple. He didn't "shoot" with a bunch of insider terms that only 16% of the audience would get. Many think his turn on the crowd was bad, but it wasn't. ECW never kissed anyone's ass. They did their thing and the crowd replied how they wanted to. He didn't kiss their ass, Vince's ass or anyone's ass.

King even tosses in a little jab after it was over saying, "maybe Joey would feel more at home in a bingo hall kissing Paul Heyman's ass." It was a damn fine way to kick things off, and IF they let Joey be Joey it will only be for the best. I want him and JR in the booth for that ECW vs. WWE special. JR's pissed off deal against "shooting Styles" will be spectacular. Just one thing in closing, those of you saying, "Joey was amazing, he should be a manager and cut promos all the time." No. That was a promo building since he was hired as it is what he felt. It is easy to go out there and knock it out once. Leave it at that, his best asset is in the booth doing the short drops of stuff like that promo. Don't mess with what works.

HHH and HBK: Referee Greatness and a Moment - I for one absolutely was loving HBK and HHH in their referee roles this past Monday on Raw. It just seemed fun and kept me totally involved in the show. First of all I loved HBK outsmarting the Spirit Squad by low blowing Conway (WELLNESS~!) and putting the shirt on him. HBK worked for 9-men again tonight as he was the most entertaining thing in that match with all of his wacky antics and such. It was just fun, which I don't get a vibe of a lot of times on Raw so this was cool with me.

HHH had his little confrontation with Vince, which only helps defend my theory that he came out of Backlash as the new babyface ala Steve Austin. He went out to referee the main event as ordered, and was also great in his role. The fact that he looked so labored and insulted that he had to count the pins were excellent, and more and more we are seeing the older HHH instead of the "King of Kings" HHH. After kicking about everyone's ass, HHH said enough of this shit and decided to leave. As he got to the top of the ramp we got…

THE MOMENT~! HBK came out, still wearing his referee shirt and he and HHH had a stare-down. Not a mean one not an overly intense one, just a stare-down. HBK gave him a slight smirk and HHH left. HBK went on to help dispatch with the Spirit Squad, including a hilarious "blind ref routine" that had me rolling. Some great stuff from these guys and with the rumors of a DX reunion getting stronger, this was some great shit.

Mid-Card Madness~! - First of all I will touch on Umaga. First of all his manager is more over than him and I don't think that Jamal is the right guy for this push honestly, but, they are doing the push the right way and are actually behind someone solidly not in the upper card for once, so I approve for now as the mid-card has been in desperate need of stability for a long time. These last few weeks have been great for that.

While I hate how they are doing it, it appears as if Matt Striker is also getting a push now that he is healthy. He is feuding with Eugene, which I hate, but hopefully he can prove himself and prove to be worth the time.

Also on the card we had Chris "Wellness~!" Masters challenging RVD to a Masterlock Challenge. RVD came out to accept and let Masters apply the hold. As soon as he did Shelton ran into lay an ass whipping on RVD. They beat him down until Carlito made the save, which is odd when you think about it. They brawled and this led to the tried and true formula of making a tag match that will start…NOW! They had a solid match, and just as it looked as if Shelton would steal a win, Charlie Haas ran down to take the chair away, which would cost Shelton and Masters the match. Things continue to pick up for the raw mid-card, and it is about time as they have needed it. This combination of guys will work really well, as long as they continue to give them the time and give them angles that don't suck.

The wRong:

Poor Wrestling - While they did a lot of very good things on this show as far as angles and building for the future I really felt that the wrestling, as a whole, was lacking. The above stuff was excellent and kept my attention, I crave some good wrestling, I mean, even one good match. I just felt that they failed at this because the in ring action bored me to tears this past week. I don't want them giving away PPV quality matches every week, but throw the big dog a bone will ya?

The Ridiculous:

Vince's crap - I have to be honest with you I am so over Vince's crap kids. First we had to listen to him discuss the whole, "I beat God on PPV" shit. Megalomania is bad, Mmmm-kay. They we had to see more of him groping Candace, you know, I had enough of that shit on the PPV. Labiagitus? Get the fuck off my TV you stupid son of a bitch. Your stupidity drug down what could have been an excellent show.

The Samoan Smashing Machine? - Why not just fucking rename him Samoa Moe, or Samoa Jim for the love of God. All of those so-called creative minds and THAT is all you got? Seriously, fire some bitches.

Global iMpact~!:

This is where I will discuss the week's edition of Global Impact. I probably won't do a 3R's so to speak, just about 10-quick thoughts on the show.

  • RIGHT: Hemme is looking damn fine. Keep her doing this stuff and to cat fights and we are gold.

  • RIGHT: So Cal Val is damn fine.

  • RIGHT: Borash had a normal tan, thank god.

  • wRong: Those bastards only gave us 3-minutes of Joe vs. AJ…I felt like I got half jerked off and then kicked in the nuts.

  • RIGHT: It was good that they gave the new members of Team Canada some mic time.

  • RIGHT: The 6-man Team Canada vs. team USA match was loads of fun. Team Canada has so much personality and Coach D'Amore wasn't missed at all. It was rather refreshing.

  • RIGHT: The announcement of TNA PPV reaching Australia was very cool.

  • RIGHT: They used the 23-minutes and did good promoting work Impact, Sacrifice and the Knockouts DVD.

  • RIGHT: Speaking of which, the preview of the Knockouts DVD looked really good. Steve Cook and DivasRGr8 will be pleased.

  • RIGHT: The show had great pacing and flew by. This should be a good little edition to TNA's growing presence. Now if they could only get more TV time.

    iMpact!:

    impact 05.04.06:

    The Right:

Alex Shelley - Alex Shelley was really showcased on Impact this week and that is a good thing. TNA needs to make new stars, and Shelley has the in ring talents as well as the personality to pull it off in my opinion. First he came out to film the X-Cup tag match with Team Canada vs. Team Mexico. He got involved and played his role well. Later on they aired the TWO-CAMERA SHOOT with Kevin Nash. This was part one of two, and it was funny as Nash basically made fun of himself. So many little liners, like when he and Nash were going back and forth, like Shelley was just trying to affirm anything he said:

Nash: "I had everything, especially a great physique"
    Shelley: "Pure Champion"
    Nash: "That's right, Pure Champion"

A good segment, which only helps Shelley get his character over more, which is great.

Then he was in the main event for the NWA Title against Christian Cage. Shelley worked really hard and looked like he belonged with Cage. With out doubt this was a banner week for Mr. Shelley, and the future is bright for him.

Tag Title Match - While the booking leaves many questions, one cannot doubt that the match was a good one. Styles and Daniels are spectacular opponents, but also work very well together. The match was very strong and kept the crowd, which is very important. They also did the right thing in screwing AJ and Daniels to make the PPV match. They did just enough without giving too much away. The finish was sweet, as Gail went for a RANA off the top, but AJ caught her and looked to give her the clash, but Storm got in a superkick and then Gail delivered a SWEET RANA on AJ and AMW won the match. I really want to see what they can do with 20-minutes or so on PPV, it should be one hell of a match.

The New Formula - I really do have to give the new formula to the show a rave review. They were doing 4-matches a lot of weeks and when they did that, 2-matches were almost always 1-minute squashes and then they tried to cram 50-guys and 6 non-important angles on every show. It was overload, it was too much and you walked away forgetting what you had just watched, which is NEVER good.

They finally accepted this criticism and decided to retool things. I would love to think that it has been my year and a half of bitching that led to it, so I will. They had stuck to the 3-match deal, lengthened the matches a bit and dropped the "wrestling on crack" mentality. Last week was also good as you waked away with major points, and this week was the same. World X-Cup, Tag Title Feud, Sting vs. JJ and Steiner ad Alex Shelley were the focal points to me this week and really stuck out. This is a good thing for them, and I hope that they keep it up.

    The wRong:

Sting's game show - It was short this week and it is good build for the match at the show, but you know what? Sting isn't cool when he does this. He looks like the biggest fucking dork in the world. When he does this crap he's not "the Stinger," he's bozo the fucking clown.

    The Ridiculous:

Tenay Liners - Who found it funny that when trying to correct Kevin Nash, KEVIN NASH, he said, "hey, this is 2006, not 1996," This aired right after a segment that has Sting, Jarrett, Rick and Scott Steiner as well as video footage of Buff and Lex from last week. IRONY.

    READER RANT TIME~!

    From Bill -
Is it ridiculously scripted and hypocritical for this whole Joey Styles tirade against WWE, considering he's under contract and this is just Vince taking what the internet says about him and pretending that it bothers him? Well ...sorta, but I for one made a mess of myself for that promo. The whole hatred against "SportZ Entertainment BAYBEE!" just made me yearn for the time before McMahon began commentating his own shows. The bitterness towards "Superstars" was just awesome, and taking the time just to show the fans just what they've brought themselves to ended up not really hurting him, because he still got the face pop at the end, albeit weaker than it could have been.

I've always believed this, heel King commentator is always good for my soul. He'll go back to being good ol' JR's running buddy next week, but this week, Lawler reminded me why I hated him so much for mocking the Hart family all those years ago.

    From Todd -
I was there live for Backlash, some reports:

    - There were lots of "Whooo's!" and chants of "Cena Sucks" before the show started.

    - Goldust got a positive reaction. Conway got good heel heat.

    - BIG cheers for Carlito - lots of his T-shirts in the crowd + signs for him.

    - BIG cheers for Flair - his loss took some of the wind out of our sails. That sucks that he lost so quickly.

    - Women's match started off well, then suddenly ended - we were all just like, "what the...oh well, next match." There were a big group of women ringside, behind the Spanish announce table, and they cheered like crazy for Mickey. Then later for Cena, too.

    - Whenever Maria was on the screen, there were marriage proposals and other offers from guys in the crowd. She probably would have gotten a great response had she appeared in the ring.

    - Shelton/RVD - Match was awesome and crowd was hot. RVD was the clear favorite, but Shelton really put on the show. They both did great, though, and it was nice to see a title change.

    - Kane/Show - good reactions from the crowd to both guys. Match was pretty slow. The ending of this match was the worst! We cheered when Kane sat up because we thought something else would happen, like more brawling, but no. It ... just ... ended ... ? Well, Show did a good job of 'telling the story' that (for some reason) he cared for Kane.

    - Vince/Shane/Michaels - I thought the whole thing was hilarious - I laughed at Vince's antics and thought it was good comedy. The best part was when the 'God' spotlight made it to the corner of the ring, Vince was starting to talk to 'God' and Shane tapped his shoulder telling his Dad that 'God' was behind him. Vince saying, 'how did he sneak up behind me?' was priceless. The dive off the stage was incredible and garnered a 'Holy $h1t' chant, and so did the dive off the ladder onto the squad. The ending sucked of course. But Shawn did a good job keeping the crowd into it--his experience shows as compared to everyone on the card.

    - Eugene/Striker - Eugene got a good pop (or should I say poop). Striker got decent heat from the crowd but we've heard these jokes before.

    - Triple Threat - HHH was the absolute clear favorite here--though the Cena fans came out of the woodwork for this one. Crowd was probably 70%/30% in favor of HHH over Cena. Edge didn't enter into our reactions much. Cena did get probably the biggest pop of the night, it was loud, but it was a mix. Even though HHH did the heel stuff at the end with the sledgehammer, he still got a face reaction -- before he left the ramp, he noticed the cheers for him on our side of the ramp and gave us some extra poses as we bowed down before him (which he prompted).

    - After off-the-air - Cena finally got to his feet selling the match's brutality. He then scanned the crowd for a good minute or two as the arena was still pretty split with boos and cheers. He looked around, read signs, all around before he said anything. When he did, it was something like, "I won the match. The war will go on. You Triple H fans better dig in for the long haul. I still got soldiers out there for me." And his fans really shouted out. Then, the rest quickly begun to boo again.

Great live show! I still left happy to have seen it, even though all my favorites (and the crowd's) didn't win.

    From Anthony -
I totally agree with you in your latest column when you talked about the whole Trish and Mickie feud it is the best thing on Raw right now and I would also love to see this go further and end in a specialty match and cage match is great or a ladder match or something would be awesome. And lets get the whole division up to par. I would love the women's division to have more matches and i don't mean bra and panties or pillow fights I mean actually matches with wrestling and pin falls and stuff. Well I just wanted
to let you know that i am totally agree with you!!

    And finally from Claire -
I love your column, thinking about your comments towards Cena and how the McMahonagement have been so desperate to keep him as a face may have something to do with the other WWE movie (I don't know whether the IWC knows about this or it is old news but,) Kane's not the only one with a flick in the works. Kane shot his movie here in Australia, Gold Coast at Movie world down here after the first Taboo Tuesday where he was injured when Snitsky crushed his throat with the steel chair. Cena also made a secret trip to Australia and made a movie, where (and I have this on very very good authority, my insider, one of the actors) he is a naval officer who's family gets injured/killer and he hunts down those responsible, while on WWE he had been stabbed in the kidney, opps. So the constant attempt on the E's part to keep Cena a face is more than likely because of that fact, shame the fans aren't playing their part, I mean whether the people love or hate him (like with Kane) most fans will pay the money to see them on the big screen even though we don't expect much. Resistance is useless! They do right and wRong but we suckers still hang on every show and PPV, it's addictive, I sure as hell can't help myself and every time they come to Australia I am the first to buy tickets! But you have to live for something and I love men in tights!

Thanks for joining me, as well as my tag team partner Geoff (yostankmama@hotmail.com) this week. Please keep the feedback coming and tell us what you like, what you didn't and feel free to give us some of your 3 R's. Seriously, we want to hear what YOU HAVE TO SAY! I will gladly post them in the next edition. Until next week, for Geoff I am Larry Csonka and we are out!
