The Triple Threat 9.10.06: The 19th Edition
Posted by Sean, David, Alex on 09.10.2006

Hello everyone, I'm so glad to see that the NFL season finally starts today. Now the 411 Fantasy Football League which I'm a part of, starts to get heated. It is good to wake up everyday and know that you have something to do. Class may be boring but hey we still have the rest of the day to be happy about. Wrestling on the other hand is always flip-floppy in that it can be a good week for shows or a bad one. I guess we should go ahead and get on with the column. I got to thank Nick Marsico the famous man from "News to Start Your Weekend" for helping us out. Alex had another football commitment and couldn't do his part. This week we talk about WWE changing something on the wellness policy, the continuing Kurt Angle saga, Super Crazy's debut on RAW, and a lot more. We are at 19, and the column is still a can't miss. Read on fans we promise not to disappoint.

Topic #1 WWE has quietly changed something on the wellness policy. Now instead of suspending the wrestlers that fail their tests, WWE will now keep the wrestlers on television but not pay them the length of their suspension. Does this change any feelings you have towards the wellness policy? And do you think the change makes the policy worthless?

David: I think what they are doing is a great idea. This will make it better for the wrestling fan as a whole. Now say if your favorite wrestler failed a drug test, you would still get to see him on television, plus the storyline won't be ruined and people wouldn't have to be scraped off the card. What's worse then working for free? Not much, so I still think this is a good punishment for those who fail wellness.

Nick Marsico: To be honest, I don't care either way. As we saw with Angle, if things become really serious they'll do what's necessary. Otherwise less serious offenses weren't going to merit much more than a slap on the wrist anyway. I think keeping guys on their rough schedules and not paying them is worse than letting them stay home and rest for a while, although it also means that they won't lose any steam on television which could possibly lead to them making more money in the long run. But like I said, I don't care unless it becomes a really serious situation like it did with Kurt.

Sean: I still feel the same about the wellness policy because it has done its job up to this point. I do think that this degrades the policy some, because this is just a cheap way for Vince to get out of actually having to think. Not that I want wrestlers to go on suspensions for substances they shouldn't be putting in their bodies, but, some of the most interesting things that have happened were what the wellness policy changed on SmackDown. They had to book on the fly and make adjustments on certain things. It forced WWE to use their tag division and it helped King Booker become World Champion faster. Great American Bash was actually good aside from Lashley being removed from his match, but it did help create more excitement for the feud. I have a feeling that since some wrestlers on RAW were found with something Vince panicked and felt they couldn't have a repeat with Unforgiven. I think it is based more on the fact because Vince knows if that happened he might have to place guys like Shelton Benjamin or Super Crazy in their place. RAW is so unbalanced that it would pretty much kill the PPV if someone like Jeff Hardy, John Cena, Triple H, or anyone else for that matter that got caught with something was removed. RAW actually has a mid-card now, with a tag division that's not very good, but it is there, and a Women's division that is about to lose two of its biggest wrestlers. The main event scene is based off of two guys and that is not good my friends. I really like the EDGE vs. Cena feud, but, you should always have guys that can move up to the main event scene if needed. All the guys in the mid-card just seem to get a small push but never enough to make them full main eventers. This is again a case of Vince protecting RAW because he's on the show, and making SmackDown look bad. Also what kind of message are you sending your employees? "That oh you failed a test but we are going to keep you on the show because we don't want to screw up our storylines." That is a bunch of crap, what if say, Johnny Nitro were going to win the WWE Title and two days before the PPV they find out he was on something? Are you going to still let him be Champion for however long he was supposed to be out? That doesn't sound like punishment to me. Also you aren't going to accomplish anything by just jobbing out the wrestler for 30 days on TV because you might diminish him so much, that he will never be able to rise out of jobber status. A suspension gives the wrestler a kick in the butt, and tells him he needs to get his act together if he wants to do something in the company. All this does is take away their pay, but the punishment is non-existent. Yes, the money is important, but the TV time is even more important. Think about this too, what if that same wrestler gets injured during those 30 days? Now he gets to sit on his ass injured and no money for a month or longer? I don't really like this change because it shows weakness. That's great WWE won't have to mess with their storylines but it teaches the wrestlers nothing.

Topic #2 Super Crazy made his return this week, but he did it on RAW. What do you think of this move? And could he do anything for the brand?

David: I thought this was a little weird. I always had the idea that Super Crazy was suppose to make the Cruiserweight division on Smackdown. I really don't know if there is a place for Super Crazy on the RAW roster. Maybe they could place him in the mid card. He could have some pretty good matches and make for an interesting Intercontinental title division. I just hope that they use him.

Nick Marsico: It means that for whatever reason, Vince likes Super Crazy. I don't say "for whatever reason" because he's not completely awesome, but because he's a cruiserweight and isn't a Vince McMahon creation. I'd prefer him on SmackDown, but then I prefer anybody I like to be on SmackDown, because I don't like RAW. Crazy doesn't seem to fit on RAW but we'll have to wait and see where they try to fit him in. He could do something for the brand, but no more than anybody else they already have on the roster. It's about how he's booked, and he's not likely to do much of anything after what I assume will be initially a bit of a strong push where he goes over a bunch of guys in random matches but doesn't do anything of note as far as being part of an angle or a storyline. But really, at least he's on television, so that's a good thing.

Sean: Wow! That wasn't someone I was imaging would show up on RAW. I'm guessing this means he doesn't have Hepatitis C? I mean he probably should have gone to ECW since he is a former extremist and would have fit-in better over there. I think this was a case of Vince saying "well he got a fan base on SmackDown so let's send him to RAW." His style does fit with Jeff, Nitro, Carlito, and Shelton, so if they use him he could prove very valuable. If you get desperate for tag teams Carlito & Super Crazy would make a great pairing. Anyway, as long as this doesn't turn into another Tajiri (where he was moved to RAW in one of the drafts, used for a little bit, and then used as a jobber on Heat,) then I don't have a huge problem with this. He had a decent debut against Chris Masters so who knows what's next for him. I'm going to let this go for a month or two before I pass judgment.

Topic #3 We got news this week that the meeting between Kurt Angle and WWE actually didn't go so nice. WWE labeled Angle an "emotional wreck." Basically, WWE wanted Angle to go to rehab and take a break and Angle kept saying he was fine. So they had no choice but to release him. Now all the rumors have started that when the no compete clause is done that Angle will go to TNA. Since we already talked last week about whether or not Angle would eventually go to TNA, it'd be redundant to ask that question again. So here's the question, when that no compete clause is done, should Angle go to TNA in his current state? Meaning, in three months should Angle be back wrestling?

David: I don't think that three months could heal up Kurt Angle to 100%. Kurt is in no condition to wrestle. I hope that he can learn in these three months that he just needs to take a break for a while. I'm just afraid that if Kurt Angle starts wrestling any time soon he might end up killing himself. I say give him a good year to get his life together, to heal up to 100%, and come back home to the WWE better then he ever was before.

Nick Marsico: Of course he shouldn't, but we really aren't of the authority to be able to decide that. He's barely in any shape to be walking around as far as we know. For Kurt's sake, the man probably should get that neck surgery for real and never wrestle again. Selfishly I of course would love to see him in TNA, but the answer is no, he really shouldn't even have the thought of wrestling again anywhere near in his thoughts. Going to TNA or any other wrestling or MMA promotion should be the last thing on his mind right now.

Sean: NO and NO, I don't have problem if Angle wants to go to TNA eventually because the dream matches would just be amazing. However, Angle needs to rest and he needs to rest for a long while. If WWE and Angle had a bad parting of the ways then it is only right for the rumors to start. People that don't think Angle is hurt are living under a rock. Let's look at what our esteemed "Franchise" Larry Csonka had to say in his Your News My Views Kurt Angle is visibly falling apart. He doesn't look good, has undergone dramatic changes physically and suffered numerous injuries in his effort to be the best. But it is that effort that has hurt him, and there is some pattern to this. Let's look at that pattern here:
* High school, tears up ankle and refuses treatment. He performs.
* The Olympics, he purposely lands on his head as to lot lose a point, fracturing his neck. He gets shot up with a ton of stuff after being told not to wrestle under threat of permanent injury or paralysis. He ignores that and goes on to win the Gold.
* In the WWFE he re-injures the neck again. He refuses the fusion surgery that would strengthen his neck and goes with Dr. Jo. 3-months later he is back and the surgery is undone with one chair shot.
That is a lot of issues and that's not even close to all the problems he has. The man has nerve problems in one of his ears and chest. He is not in condition right now to be wrestling and for him it would be better to think of his family. Kurt please for all of us and you, take some time off, before rushing into something. Besides I think that if Kurt even gives an inkling of going to TNA, Vince will throw all his money at Angle to get him to comeback and stay under contract. Angle should stay home for a while and that's my stance.

Topic #4 Which superstar in the RAW or SmackDown mid-card will make it to the main event first?

David: This is a really hard decision. On Raw you got the always lovable Carlito and the Charismatic Enigma Jeff Hardy. On Smackdown you got the powerhouse Lashley and the loud mouth Ken Kennedy. How it's looking right now though it seems like Kennedy is going to get the biggest push. Ken Kennedy is a needed heel to be at the top of the card. Like he said, he has beaten two former WWE champions and he is now the US champ. Now he just has to get past the obstacle of the Undertake and he will be shot up to the top. This will defiantly be an interesting feud and hopefully when it is all done he ends up on top.

Nick Marsico: Kennedy, I'd wager. Finlay is hovering, but he's going to just be a badass mid-card act that can beat the fuck out of anybody, no matter their status on the card, and he's older and not likely to be around for more than a few more years, so they'll probably not waste their energy on making him a full-fledged main eventer. You can make arguments for Carlito and Lashley, but I don't think Carlito's going to be making the jump for a good while and Lashley, while close, is probably going to hold the US Belt at least one more time before he's deemed above it. He might get a World Title shot before he gets the US Belt back, but he definitely won't be a full-time main eventer any time soon. I'd go with Kennedy. I don't think he's going to have another US Title reign once he loses it for the first time.

Sean: There are a lot of options here as Carlito, Johnny Nitro, and Jeff Hardy look to be on the rise on RAW. Then you have Ken Kennedy who's set to face the Undertaker at No Mercy. Bobby Lashley is also there, he seems to have a following on SmackDown and been in a feud against Finlay for a while. Umaga is in this too I guess, but I really hope he doesn't get pushed to the main event right now, since the crowd still doesn't really respond to him, not to mention his wrestling ability is very limited. Well I'm gonna have to go with Lashley because he has the size that Vince loves and can wrestle. He's not that great on the mic but neither was Brock Lesnar and look how high he got. Lashley has been feuding with King Booker's court for a long time and everyone is waiting for Lashley to have that final match with Finlay. The crowd really responds to him so that is another thing he has going for him. I don't think we are going to see him get the title soon or anything, but the mini-feud he had with King Booker won't be his last. I'm saying Lashley done deal.

Fun Topic of the Week: The Rock's new movie "Gridiron Gang" comes out on Friday. Do you have interest in seeing this film?

Explanation: This question may not necessarily be something that is going on in the wrestling news, but it is what it describes. The fun topic is there to get everyone thinking about how they would answer the question. Basically your own personal brain teaser where you can answer it however you wish. This is what we had to say about this week's fun topic.

David: Nope, I have no interest in seeing the movie at all. It doesn't appeal to my tastes and I really don't think that The Rock is that great of an actor.

Nick Marsico: When it's on HBO or Starz or something I'll definitely give it a watch. I'm sure it'll be a decent movie with some good acting from my boy Rocky that does mediocre at the box office. I love The Rock, but I rarely go to see movies anyway, and this one doesn't appear interesting enough for me to spend 10 bucks on it.

Sean: David is not a sports guy so I understand his issues with not wanting to see the film. I just saw Invincible a few days ago and really liked the movie, even though I'm a Cowboys fan. The story still touched me and was inspiring regardless if Papale played for the Eagles. Gridiron Gang reminds me a little bit of Longest Yard mixed in with Remember the Titans and Friday Night Lights. All those movies were good in there own right. I think Rock is a better actor than people give him credit for, and I will probably see the film sometime during the weekend. I hope it does well in the sales department.

Topic #6 TNA has put some thought into placing Gail Kim in the X-Division. Would this be a good move for TNA and Miss Kim.

David: Wow! This would certainly be interesting to watch Ms. Kim in the X-Division. No limits right? It would certainly give her the chance to get any rust off from not doing anything and now she will get to do what she does best. I don't know how realistic it would look for her to beat anyone though. Could you really see Gail Kim beating Senshi?

Nick Marsico: That's ridiculous. They already don't give the X Division the spotlight that they claim to be giving it week in and week out, and adding a tiny little woman into it just makes them more of a joke than they've already become. They should be concentrating on booking Shelley, Sabin, Senshi, Lethal, Dutt, Kazarian, Bentley and Petey well and not put a woman into the division and make it a goofy angle that nobody wants to see. I mean, what the fuck? If they want Gail Kim to wrestle, they should bring in some girls from SHIMMER and run an angle where Gail claims to be the most dominant female wrestler in America. Eventually if they ever get a two hour show they can get some of the SHIMMER girls under contract, grab Molly Holly and make a division out of it. Gail in the X Division, though? Fucking no.

Sean: I'm totally for this if it happens, because TNA doesn't have a Women's division and only have one women's wrestler in Gail Kim. I don't know how other people would feel if Gail Kim became the next Chyna, but I wouldn't have a problem with it. She's athletic, has the moves to match, and she brings a different aspect to the division. This would be the ultimate showing of no limits. I'm not saying she needs to be the X-Division champ anytime soon, but she will prove herself as a contender that will bring even more intrigue than before.

Topic #7 Looks like CM Punk will have his first feud against Shannon Moore. Does this feud interest you at all?

David: Anything that has CM Punk in it interests me. I'm glad that he is actually in a feud now. This will give him more TV time, which is better for everyone. From what I saw at an ECW house show a month or two back, Shannon Moore has really improved on his wrestling ability so with that said, this could bring on some pretty decent matches.

Nick Marsico: Only if it's completely one sided where Punk continually humiliates him, defeats him in two consecutive matches (Punk wins the first easily and Shannon cries about it until he gets a rematch where Punk destroys him again) and then Moore is fired. I have nothing against Moore, but nothing he's done since being Matt Hardy's MF'er has done anything for me.

Sean: Actually I really like it because it makes sense. Shannon Moore is a Punk he brings out the bad things about society, he looks like an idiot, and he's a good performer. CM Punk is straightedge, likes Pepsi, and is one hell of a wrestler. It seems to be a good match to me and I liked the first interaction between them, and I'm interested to see where they go from here.

Topic #8 WWE debuted a new tag team this week on RAW. Their name is "Cryme Tyme." What did you think of the promo? And how do they help the tag division?

David: I thought their promo was quite funny and Cryme Tyme could defiantly help the state of the tag division on Raw. We would now have the Highlanders, Cade and Murdoch, the Sprit Squad, Viscera and Haas (which is the dumbest excuse for a tag team ever) and now Cryme Tyme. That would give us five tag teams on Raw and six if the Spirit Squad decides to split up. This could make up an interesting tag team division. Now we just have to wait to see how good these guys can wrestle.

Nick Marsico: It was fantastic and no.

Sean: Well as long as they stay as a parody then that's fine with me. I'm normally not big on racial stereotypes in wrestling but the promo was damn funny. This would add another tag team to the tag division and now apparently Snitsky and Val Venis are a tag team too. Even though it is not the best people ever, the division seems to be taking shape. Now if they could give all the teams some television time then, we could get the crowd involved in it. At least they seem to be making some effort to make a tag division.

Topic #9 Is there any reason to have Mr. McMahon vs. Triple H at MSG tomorrow night?

David: I guess because they are the two biggest figure heads in the WWE. With this they can sell out the arena. This is kind of a bad idea though because they are going to have a Hell in a Cell match at Unforgiven. I don't expect this to be a real match, its probably going to have a lot of run ins ending out in a big mess.

Nick Marsico: Because Vince wants to main event a match at Madison Square Garden. His promo on RAW last week was how he really feels, not just a crazy Vince McMahon promo. I've really stopped trying to rationalize anything that has to do with this piece-of-shit garbage fued, though. Fuck DX and fuck the McMahons on television. Nobody who isn't a moron cares about any of this anyway. Just ignore it and move on.

Sean: Well we all know how badly Vince wanted to be a wrestler and he's always wanted to main event at MSG. I really wouldn't care if this wasn't the main event, because you know, Vince shouldn't be the main focus of the company. Vince and Jarrett are getting way too similar and it's really bothering me. All I can say is whatever.

Match of the Week Nominees: Carlito, Trish Stratus, & John Cena vs. Randy Orton, Lita, & EDGE, Intercontinental Championship: Johnny Nitro vs. Jeff Hardy (RAW), Test & Mike Knox vs. RVD & Sabu (ECW), Christian vs. Truth (TNA Impact), Finlay vs. Rey Mysterio, World Championship: King Booker vs. Batista (SmackDown.)

Explanation: Match of the Week is where we honor those companies that have enough money to get themselves a national television deal. We list the ones that we thought were the best from the three shows and then pick our favorite. We may include a Heat match if it was really good but most of the time it will just be from RAW, SmackDown, ECW and TNA Impact. PPV's don't count because we always give out our match of the night when we give our thoughts on them. Also we only add an indy match if we went to the show. So here are our picks for Match of the Week.

Sean: Carlito, Trish Stratus & John Cena vs. Randy Orton, Lita, & EDGE

David: Carlito, Trish Stratus & John Cena vs. Randy Orton, Lita & EDGE

Alex: World Championship: Batista vs. King Booker

Shout Out's to our 411 Crew

Column of Honor He comes out the latest of all these columns so I thought he should get the first link. You want to know all the happenings of ROH? Go read this column.

The 3R's There was a problem with SmackDown last week so there is a change to the lineup. Geoff is doing ECW, Larry is still doing RAW and TNA Impact from last week. Then Taareq is doing SmackDown.

Truth B Told Bayani Domingo has those Asian girls looking good. Well Bayani I (Sean) read your column every week. It's just since last week's was about PWG (I can't see the show, so I don't really care.) I really just skimmed over it. I did read the whole thing this week. Bayani discusses what would happen if some wrestlers like CM Punk, Umaga, HBK and more either leave WWE for TNA, fall to wellness, or switch shows. It was actually pretty damn interesting and I recommend you read it. So get yourself some Strawberry Mango Tango and be prepared to be amazed.

Fact or Fiction It's Larry Csonka and Stephen Randle again? Oh well I can guarantee you one thing that this will be a very damn good debate. I'll let you decide who wins on this one.

Remember that Hidden Highlights is out there too. Go read JT & JP's column that show's you all the little details of a wrestling show. I can't link them because they come out at the same time I need to turn this column into the system. So there is a link here in spirit.

Meehan Goes old school once again this time with his action figures. He gives you the top ten things he learned about the attitude era from action figures and also answers his huge mailbag. Damn Meehan you have way too many action figures there.

Also don't forget to check out Ryan Byers's regular column Cheap Wrestling for Cheap People Where he tries to get you to watch some wrestling for less money. This week Ryan found WCW Uncensored from 1995 at a Flea Market. He also gives his thoughts on the show, so check it out.

Hey! there are other new guys out there besides us

Because they come out the latest of all these columns they get first dibs from us. High/Low Road Sat discusses whether or not Theodore Long is the right man for SmackDown. Rajah apparently won't be involved with the column anymore. Hmm, I wonder what's up.

Shining the Spotlight Michael Weyer

Getting Over Mike LaFave continues trying to get over SmackDown as the A show along with RAW. How does he keep this up, WWE should be listening to this guy already because I would love to see SmackDown on the same level as RAW.

The Top Ten Julian Williams is back with his top ten Kurt Angle matches.

If you want to know where we came from and some of our old columns that aren't on 411 go here: Old Triple Threat's

There is something new you should know about

I've been meaning to do more than just link the 411 Video Games section because I feel all the column writers should be recognized for their hard work. Also don't forget to check out all the latest reviews on your favorite games. As well as, a retro review as well. Those news reports are also very important because they keep you up to date on what's going on in the video game world.

On Monday's Damian Sarcuni comes out with his column called Angry Gaming Where he takes a look at things in gaming that makes him pretty mad. This week he gives his hate club a whole column to talk to him. Damian has a mailbag column.

On Tuesday's for sure you are going to get one mean Gaming Rant from Will Scott. This week he finishes talking about the death of PC gaming. Are MMO's to blame for the PC's demise in gaming?

Steve McHugh has another Retro Review This time it's a game called Blue Stinger for the Dreamcast. A Third person shooter with bad camera angles.

Tuesday's or Wednesday's there is a column by someone with the name of Sean, no not me, because his last name is McCabe. Your result is a Retrospective on a certain video game franchise. Now he examines the Metal Gear Solid Games. This part one of three and it wasn't as deep as the others but still good. Learn about some of the early Metal Gear games that appeared on the Nintendo and the classic that is Metal Gear Solid for the Playstation.

Thursday's is all about Jordan Williams's Working Title Yeah that's the name of the column. Anyway, Jordan is going overrated/underrated on first person shooters. Do you think Halo is overrated? Have you ever heard of Geist? Well you should go read his column and find out.

Man a whole bunch of stuff comes out on Friday's. First we have a column Hardcore Haven Where Joel Beggs gives us his feedback to his greatest hardcore moments.

Fact or Fiction this week features: Sean McCabe and Steve McHugh talking about all the news in video games.

The last thing is the Top 5 where we in the Video Games staff give our top 5 games on a certain topic. This week it is our Top 5 interesting things at the Leipzig

There is one thing that comes out on Sunday's, and that is Gaming Trends a Column where Vincent Chiucchi talks about trends that have developed in gaming. Last week he talked about Video Game tourneys.

Now Time for Feedback

The Lord blessed us with five emails this week. All I have to say is thank you everyone that emailed us, and keep the mail coming people. Well let's get on with answering your questions and comments.

The first one as always is from John Bryant Bateman Who has a dream match and a question for us.

Here we go and I've come up with one of the Stiffest and arguably most toughest fights around. Hardcore Holly vs Finlay in a Street Fight. now I know alot of people are asking: why Hardcore Holly he's old. Well if you want reference go back to the 90s and find a Hardcore match between him & Al Snow that went all the way out into the mississipi river. Holly can hang on the new ECW or anywhere else they put him because he is tough and can wrestle ANYone. now here is my new question. Who should Samoa Joe have his first loss to AND....is their any WWE Superstar that would excel in TNA? Personally I'd love to see Matt Hardy in TNA since Matt & Chris Sabin would make a good tag team since both of them can wrestle in any division in TNA.

Sean: This would be a pretty damn nasty brawl it would probably go past any river, pond, or any other body of water. Damn this would be a hard choice but I think Hardcore Holly just has a different kind of mean streak where he will do anything to win. This would be something that I would want to see. As far as the question goes, RVD would probably excel the best in TNA because he has a way of adapting to different styles. He could wrestle in the X-Division and Heavyweight Division. He would be a cool addition to TNA.

David I wasn't thinking about Holly's age at all, he's a very good wrestler. This match would certainly be a thriller but I would have to go for the Irishman in this one because that guy is just insane. Joe's first loss should go to someone truly deserving and that TNA feels the need to push someone like that. I have no idea on who that person will be but it will be interesting. If anyone would excel in TNA from the WWE it would probably be Paul London. That guy fits right in with the X-Division and it could make some damn good matches.

Tanner Pruitt Checks in with a variety of things.

I think that there is a more than likely chance that they will have Cena go to SD!. All I have heard for the past month here at 411 is that SD! roster is depleting. Well, if they McMahon had any faith in Cena (which he has alot of), then he would trust him to bring SD! Back to prominance. Sure, Raw would get hit with a big blow, but this leaves room for big pushes. Carlito is a guy who needs a big one right now. The seperation of DX and a possible second HHH/HBK fued is also very likely. You could also try to get Jericho to come back (which I have been pushing for ever since he left). There are alot of things they could do with this.

Or, maybe I'm wrong, but does anybody see this backfiring on Edge,
causing
him to go to SD!? Who knows...

David: Well you and I think a lot alike. I too have been pushing for Jericho to come back because hey, he was my favorite wrestler. Carlito NEEDS to be pushed because he has everything he needs to become a top contender. On the other hand, I don't think Cena will be going to Smackdown. Cena is WWE's biggest drawing superstar and knowing Vince, there's no way in hell he's going to take Cena off his flag ship show. Now if this all did happen then Vince must be desperately trying to bring up Smackdown. After all, SmackDown is starting on a new Network this month so maybe he would move Cena to Smackdown to get it off to a big start on the CW. We are just going to have to wait and see on this one.

Sean: Actually, he might not be wrong about that because SmackDown is going to need something to get people to watch the CW premiere. Cena going to SmackDown would instantly bring up the brand and open the door on RAW for the younger guys to step up. Carlito should get a push but so should Shelton Benjamin. I wouldn't have a problem with seeing Jericho back because he would help RAW out a lot. I'm not going to say Cena will go to SmackDown but I won't leave it out of the question. So far the contract only says if Cena loses he goes to SmackDown. So I don't think EDGE is going anywhere.

It's Ygun24 he talks Jericho, SCI-FI, and Cena.

Ygun24: Hey, I got a few points about this week's column if i may:
Do you think there's any chance the WWE would ask Sci-Fi to put the ECW
replay against TNA? The Leprachaun is Johnny Ace's best idea yet (even
though it wasn't meant to be) Cena to SD for a few months to see what
happens to ratings then he wins RR and comes back to Raw? I'd love to
see
Jericho back but him going out first don't mean anything, he sang a
country
song (grant it he was bad but he's a rocker) thanks guys

Sean: If you don't think Vince is already asking for ECW to be put in that timeslot, you got to be crazy. Vince ruthless against his competition and if he got this repeat for free why not put it against TNA? I wish he wouldn't just for the fact that I know the replay would do better than TNA's ratings, which is pretty sad. Cena to SD for a few months would be cool as long as he goes back to RAW at the RR. Well thanks for sending us feedback.

David: I don't know if they will try to run the replay during TNA but if they did it would be interesting to see how the ratings for both shows turn out. Jericho should come back, I think he will eventually and then I would be a very happy fan. Everything else I kind of explained in the last feedback, its funny how all you guys think alike. Thanks for writing.

Yankee Fan Michael Aernie is here with his feedback as well.

Michael Aernie: This is in relation to your topic of the stipulation
to the
John Cena/Edge match. I just do not see why no else has picked up on
the
obvious outcome of this match. Cena wins (since he is the number one
face
on Raw) and the next night Edge comes out asking for a rematch. But
somehow
Cena has it worked out in the stipulations that the loser of the match
goes
to Smackdown. Edge leaves to become the top heel on Smackdown (after
Booker
loses to Batista). This then opens the door for Randy Orton to become
the
top heel on Raw and build towards Cena/Orton and eventually Cena/HHH or
HHH/Orton. This gives Smackdown a big name heel (to face off with
Batista,
Rey, and Lashley) and opens the door for HHH to get back in the
limelight as
a heel or a face. Go Yankees!

David: This is all really hard to determine what is going to happen. I just think that Cena is going to win and the feud continues to Survivor Series. I do think that it will end up an Orton vs. Cena feud down the road. I predict that at Wrestlemania it will be Cena vs. Orton for the belt, but that could definitely change.

Sean: You know WWE could do that big swerve but I really hope not. I don't want to see EDGE on SmackDown again, he needs his time on top on RAW. I agree with David we could end up seeing Orton vs. Cena at WM 23. That would be a pretty damn good main event.

Our last one comes from Scott Lester

Hey guys in your column you guys mentioned that you were
pretty much getting sick of the whole "DX" thing.
Since the WWE has brought back DX, there has been something missing.
(Road
Dog, Billy Gunn and X-pac)
I feel if the WWE brought Rick Flair, Carlito and or Randy Orton into
DX
they could really give this thing some "new" life or some excitement to
it.

David: I don't think they should add anyone to DX. I just mainly hate it because it's all about Vince and its overshadowing the WWE Title feud. Vince seriously needs to get off of television for awhile. If DX actually feuded with someone else I would probably care about it more and think it was interesting, but, right now it just looks like some rehashed attitude era.

Sean: It's just sad its taken like three months for David to figure out that WWE has started a rehash of the attitude era. Anyway, DX doesn't need to add anyone else, and they better not be serious about bringing X-Pac back either. Carlito has the cool factor but he would look ridiculous doing the crotch chops, but he probably wouldn't be added because his verbage on the mic might outshine Triple H and HBK. Randy Orton would not fit period, what is he going to do show everyone how he shit in girls bags? Ric Flair is way too old to be doing that kind of stuff, seriously. If they even were still DX and were in singles feuds it would be more interesting. Like David said, I think it is more because they've been involved with McMahon for too long, than anything else.

Well that's all for this week folks. Thank you for all the feedback, we really appreciate it. Keep the stuff coming through the inbox.
