I make it back, and there’s barely anything to talk about. Damn the luck.

A friend in need's a friend indeed, a friend who bleeds is better. Hey there and welcome back. Maybe I should be telling myself that? Although technically, I returned yesterday. If you perused the Music Zone at all, you knew that already. Alas, I'm back to my regular gig here. The one that pays the bills, so to speak.

Long story short, my computer was murdered by a lightning strike and a new one was required. New one was acquired and here we are. I'm not getting into anything else because either A) I can't, B) I don't feel like it, C) you could give a rat's ass, anyway, or D) all of the above. I'll pick D and get to why you're here in the first place.


Mail Call!

I had a couple of e-mails, but they were lost when the computer was murdered. One was asking about the "Kurt Angle = Dawn Marie's baby daddy" rumor (which is just that, to my knowledge. Glad to hear that Angle and his wife are still together – I didn't think they were) and another was about, of all things, my comment likening the name of the December ECW PPV ("December To Dismember") to animal faggotry. Whoever that was decided to take his grief public, and the thread was locked before I could answer the misguided ass. Hence, I responded anyway and have yet to heat back from the little coward. Welcome to the internet.


Okay, This Is Boring – What Else Is There To Read?

I know he normally goes second, but my condolences go out to My Favorite Writer™ on the loss of his father. Two parents gone inside of 18 months and the man STILL brings quality and leadership to this site. Don't you ever doubt his dedication again.

I have to let The Lance Cade to my Trevor Murdoch that the Saturday News is back proper. And that yes, Brad Armstrong IS rather talented and should be an awesome addition to WWE.

Aside from that, there's so much I have to go back for, it's just sick. Not having that kind of time (what else is new?), I'll do it this way:

The Music Zone kicks ass, as always. Now with more reviews than ever!

Despite not being an avid gamer at all, I am seriously eyeing the purchase of a Nintendo Wii when it arrives. The Games Zone comes in REAL handy for disemminating information on the new systems. (RIP Sony.)

You should know by now that The Wrestling Zone here is the best on the web.

Hell, go and check everything out! If it weren't for the fact that I have to get to my e-mail on the web, this would be my home page. Seriously.


It Ain't 1998, But It's All We Got

So, why does this segment make a rare appearance? No, it's not because Vince Russo is back (which I realize I may be in the minority here, but I'm actually glad to see). It's because Impact may be getting a better time slot. We've heard this before and I'll believe it when I see it, but I do hope it happens. Just like I hope TNA restructures their X Division to mean something again and follows suit with the rest of the product, going back to focusing on the in-ring action.

For the record, yes, I agree with Jim Ross 100% - "trying to ‘out-WWE' WWE" is not what TNA should be concentrating on.


The Rest Of The News That's Fit To Post

Figures the week I make it back there's hardly anything going on. Ah, well...

WWE signed 2 Cold Scorpio to a 3-year deal! Yes! Put that man in ECW and please save it from being as boring as it is. Given a tough choice to make the last 2 weeks, I've picked Nip/Tuck (the only TV show I watch regularly aside from wrestling) over ECW.

And as one arrives, another leaves. The Boogeyman is history, apparently because the higher-ups thought he was lackadaisical in rehabbing his injuries.

Far be it from me to introduce some logic here, but...the guy is 42 years old AND has never wrestled in his life. Maybe it's gonna take a little longer. As far as not checking in with doctors, that's on Marty Wright there. Maybe all parties involved understand that it's not gonna be easy, and that's one thing. I'd agree with that. But if he expects he can take forever to do it and not see his doctors (that, odds are, he's not even paying for), then maybe he didn't want to do this as bad as he thought.

And finally, Kurt "Determined To Kill Himself Before He Reaches 50" Angle released a statement that he is very interested in pursuing MMA competition. Jesus, Angle, sit home and fucking rest, will you?! I understand the drive to compete is there, but for fuck's sake, dude~! Weren't you the one that talked about wanting to be able to play with your daughter? Please take that into consideration before getting involved in a sport where they don't pull the punches.
