411’s Independent Draft Spectacular 07.04.07: CHIKARA Presents: Seven Forty Seven
Posted by Matt Adamson on 07.04.2007
You could also call this show "Bazaar of the Bizarre" as much of what I booked for my show is quite bizarre.
CHIKARA presents: Seven Forty Seven
+ We're live on the 4th of July 2007 from the New Alhambra Arena in Philadelphia, PA.
+ Mike Quakenbush makes his way out to the ring to loud cheers. He welcomes the fans to Seven Forty Seven and thanks them for coming. He says that he is excited how things turned out for Chikara in the draft and feels like they got the best deal in the draft. He said that the new ownership plans on keeping the spirit of Chikara alive, which pleased the crowd.
+ The hosts for the show were then led out to ringside by The Order of the Neo Solar Temple by handcuffs and shackles with their faces covered. The head coverings were removed to reveal EXCALIBUR and DISCO MACHINE!!!! They sit down at the table but UltraMantis Black doesn't remove their handcuffs and shackles. Are they supposed to be prisoners of Chikara? They seem to be good sports about it all though.
MATCH NUMERO UNO: Human Tornado vs. Puma
About 10 women make their way out to the ring and Tornado is in tow. He holds his arms out and embraces the "ho's". Puma is waiting for him in the ring but Tornado is trying to use his ladies to distract him. Puma is having none of that. Tornado grabs the mic and starts calling Puma "Pinoy Boy". It's obvious he isn't happy with that and sends Tornado to the corner with a flying dropkick. Puma is just wailing on Tornado in the corner as the ladies try and pull Puma off. The referee gets caught in the pack of women and loves it. A couple of near falls later, Tornado hits a series of elbows knocking Puma down. The ladies are drinking wine ("Pinoy" Noir as the bottle says) and it's really getting under Puma's skin as he catches them doing so out of the corner of his eye. He begins to chase after the girl pouring the wine but gets caught by Tornado who throws him back in the ring. Off the ropes Puma is hit with a vicious TORNADO DDT for three. The ladies pour the remainder of the "Pinoy Noir" over the fallen body of Puma and leave him in the ring.
Winner: Human Tornado
+ Excalibur and Disco Machine discuss the previous match and laugh at the "Pinoy Noir".
+ Jade Chung comes out to the ring accompanying Ultimo Dragon. Dragon wasn't expected to be on the show but Chung says he is demanding a match and he wants it to be against Naruki Doi. Doi hits the ring but Ultimo escapes with Chung.
+ Disco Machine makes mention that they are going to have to find a replacement for Doi in the match against Thomaselli. Scott "Scotty 2 Hotty" Taylor comes out and joins them on commentary. They discuss the lack of an opponent for Thomaselli at which time Taylor inserts himself into the match.
MATCH NUMERO DOS: Trios Match - Lance Steel, Equinox & Retail Dragon vs. Create-A-Wrestler, El Pantera & Player Uno
Retails Dragon is trying to hawk his merch to the fans as he makes his way to the ring. Equinox and Steel are giving him that "WTF" look so he gets in the ring. Things start off heavy as it quickly becomes a pier six brawl. Equinox and Uno are fighting on the outside while Create-A-Wrestler and Pantera double team Steel in the ring. Retail has managed to make his way back into the crowd to hawk his merch. Steel is hit with a BRUTAL spike piledriver. The onslaught continues on Steel and Equinox as Retail continues to sell merch to the crowd. Steel is able to catch him out of the corner of his eye and chases after him. Retail gets in the ring and is hit by his partner Equinox with a Thesz Press and slaps him around a little bit. Tope Con Hilo to the outside on Pantera as Retail gets covered by Create-A-Wrestler for two. Create-A-Wrestler and Retail are battling it out in the ring as the match is finally starting to look like a normal match. Steel is tagged in and suffers a huge blow from Create-A-Wrestler who makes the cover for two. Snap suplex on Steel as he tags in Uno who quickly goes to the top rope.for a shooting star press, which again gets two. Steel is continuing to be worked over his three opponents as they have essentially cut the ring in half taking turns working over the neck of Lance Steel. Finally he's able to get the hot tag to Equinox who goes nuts on all three and it becomes a pier six, but the referee makes no mind as he's clearly focused on the two legal men, Equinox and El Pantera. The two exchange blows as Equinox gets the upper hand while the others battle it out in the ring as well. He hits STANDING SHOOTING STAR PRESS and gets the three count. The teams continue to brawl to the back.
Winners: Lance Steel, Equinox & Retail Dragon
+ In the back Amazing Kong threatens Del Rey with action from Johnny Cochran, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton as she believes a two out of three falls match is just oppressing the obvious single fall needed to beat Del Rey. Did she really need to play the Al Sharpton card? I know it was meant to be funny, but Al Sharpton?
MATCH NUMERO TRES: The Iron Saints (Sal & Vito Thomaselli) vs. Adam Pearce & Jerrelle Clarke
They shake hands to start the match off and it goes back and forth for a bit before Adam Pearce and Sal are in and Pearce hits a wicked piledriver for two. Pearce and Clarke are able to cut the ring in half and take over on Sal as his brother watches and tries to interfere. The referee gets distracted by Vito allowing Pearce to get in a solid chair shot before the referee turns around. Clarke is in and Sal is beginning to make a comeback but is unable to get the tag to his brother when Pearce distracts the referee. Clarke hits a flying Body Press from the top but Sal reverses it into a pinning combination for two. This shakes Clarke up who lets down his guard to take Pearce while Sal gets the hot tag to Vito. Vito comes out like a HOUSE ON FIRE and lays the attack into Pearce, Irish Whip into a LARIATOOOO and a quick elbow and a two count. Back and forth action between Vito and Pearce as Pearce hits another mean looking piledriver for three. The referee signals for the bell but Sal protests that Vito's foot was under the bottom rope during the pinfall. The referee agrees and restarts the match and Pearce run right into a fierce cross body block. Boston Crab on Pearce and he taps.
Winners: The Iron Saints
+ Disco Machine starts to raise a fuss because he's sick of being locked up. He wants out but nobody is having it. Suddenly Top Gun Talwar shows up with keys being chased by Crossbones and Hydra. He is able to unlock Excalibur before being chased out the back. Excalibur sits back down and makes fun of Disco Machine because he didn't get out of the handcuffs or shakles.
MATCH NUMERO CUATRO: Trios Match - The Colony (Fire Ant, Soldier Ant & Worker Ant) vs. Order of the Neo Solar Temple (UltraMantis Black, Crossbones & Hydra)
The Order of the Neo Solar Temple are already in the ring as The Colony makes their way out with Top Gun Talwar with them. UltraMantis Black starts throwing a fit and runs after Talwar. Excalibur gets up from the desk and nails UltraMantis with a clothesline. Excalibur sits back down and says to Disco Machine, who is still in handcuffs and shackles, "Why didn't you help, you bastard?" which pissed off Disco Machine at which point he called Excalibur a few choice names. The match was another pier six brawl until UltraMantis decided to let Talwar alone. The fact that he was concerned with Talwar did manage to give The Colony the upperhand which led to a rana to the outside on Hydra by Soldier Ant. The two fought outside the ring until Hydra hit a powerbomb on Soldier Ant on the floor and climbed back in the ring. The referee counted to twenty and called for the bell. After the winners had been announced, Talwar and Excalibur attacked The Order. The brawl ended up knocking Disco Machine onto his back still in his handcuffs and shackles but also still wearing his headset. He was let loose that somebody pick him up but nobody would entertain that notion.
Winners: Order of the Neo Solar Temple
+ Allison Danger cuts a promo on her opponents in tonight's ladies trios match. She says they will win it for the fans.
+ Excalibur returns to the commentary booth and sees Disco Machine laying on the ground on his back. He looks as him and laughs but doesn't help him up, Disco is PISSED!
MATCH NUMERO CINCO: Brandon Thomaselli vs. Scott "Scotty 2 Hotty" Taylor
The two start of in the standard fair of a collar and elbow but quickly Taylor gets Thomaselli into a side headlock and throws him into the ropes and hits a stiff clothesline which sends him down. He picks him up and body slams him in the middle of the ring. THE WORM!! THE WORM!! THE WORM!! Thomaselli moves. Elbow to the back of the head and heads to the top. 360 SPLASH for two. Taylor gets up as Thomaselli tries to reach the top rope again. Taylor catches up at the top and hits a superplex for two. Into a sleeperhold and Thomaselli is fading, but the hand only drops once before he regains. Exchange of blows and a few European Uppercuts for good means on Taylor. The back and forth action continues until Taylor finally gets the advantage after a suplex in the middle and THE WORM!! THE WORM!! THE WORM!! ANOTHER WORM!! But each time he only gets two. He is getting obviously frustrated so he takes off outside the ring and the ref starts the twenty count. Plancha by Thomaselli restarts the count and knocks Taylor to the floor. Thomaselli throws him back in and gets a two count, but Taylor is not getting up. Frog Splash for the 1, 2, 3.

+ Disco Machine is still doing commentary laying on his back. Excalibur has begun to pile trash on him.
MATCH NUMERO SEIS: Trios Match - Allison Danger, Daizee Haze & Nikki Roxx vs. MsChif, Cheerleader Melissa & Mickie Knuckles
MsChif is just screaming and screaming and screaming, it's driving Mickie Knuckles crazy but Melissa calms her down so they can focus on the match. Danger and Knuckles are in there first, they lock up and Dangers gets the advantage and takes her down and begins to immediately work on the shoulder. Knuckles is having trouble getting out of the hold so MsChif comes in and lays a boot to the small of Dangers back. The ref makes MsChif go back to her corner, and while he is turn, Knuckles brutalizes Danger with a chair and tags in Melissa, who goes for the pin immediately for two. Kicks to the ribs by Melissa cause Danger to scream, but as she is Irish whipped into the corner she gets the tag to Roxx who nails Melissa with a ‘rana. The two of them fight for control while Danger ends up being tagged back in and out again before Haze is tagged in. Haze and MsChif tear each other up as Danger brawls with Melissa outside the ring. Knuckles and Roxx are tagged in and Roxx works on the shoulder again as had been done earlier, but small package gets three and all six women brawl to the back.
+ In the back MsChif, Cheerleader Melissa & Mickie Knuckles are celebrating their victory. They are ambushed by Danger, Hase & Roxx who after running MsChif and Melissa off are left with Knuckles who is given a sharp triple powerbomb through a backstage table.
MATCH NUMERO SIETE: Stalker Ichikawa Z & Shane Storm vs. Los Ice Creams
Stalker comes out carrying a bag of Doritos. What the hell? Is this product placement or something? He and Shane wait in the ring for Los Ice Creams who aren't showing up. Children's music can be heard however and is getting louder and louder. Out of nowhere an Ice Cream truck comes through the curtain with Los Ice Creams inside. They pass out ice cream to the fans at ringside (I'd say they got their money's worth) and get in the ring. They begin to move toward Stalker and Storm, but Stalker stops them while standing in the middle of the ring holding out a bag of Doritos. He opens the bag of Doritos on the canvas in the middle of the ring, pulls his pants down and sits his bare ass in the chips. Back and forth he wipes his ass with the chips until they are good and smashed. He stands up and looking somewhat like Jim Carrey in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective begins mimicking talking from his ass and running backward at Los Ice Creams with orange Doritos covering his ass cheeks. They scatter and Stalker follows El Hijo del Ice Cream and continues to run after him backward. He chases him around for a good three minutes until Ice Cream Jr. dropkicks him outside the ring. El Hijo grabs him and throws him in, but Storm comes in and hits El Hijo with a rana which allows Stalker to leave the ring. He pulls up his pants without wiping the chips from his ass and watches as Storm throws punches and kicks at Jr. who had been tagged in. Arm drag into a pinning combination gets two as Excalibur says, "Can an ass chip pin Ice Cream Jr?" Stalker must be unbelievably uncomfortable with a bag of chips in his pants. Stalker gets tagged in and hits Jr. with a flying ass drop to the face. Hijo stands outside the ring laughing at his partner. Stalker begins to bounce off the ropes and jumping over Jr. back and forth until Jr. hit Stalker in the nuts. "Counto two," says Disco Machine. He rolls to the corner holding his crotch and tags Storm in. Jr. is able to tag Hijo in at the same time. As soon as he steps in he's hit with a vicious clothesline, followed by a quick elbow. German Suplex by Storm sets up Hijo for "That Japanese Move" for the three count.
Winners: Stalker Ichikawa Z & Shane Storm

The referee turns back around from being preoccupied with Jade Chung. The cover... 1... 2... 3... the bell rings. The referee raises Dragon's hand and Chung is ecstatic, celebrating in the ring.
