In this week’s edition of Your News, My Views we look at the story of Michael Hayes still being a Freebird in 2008, recent WWE Roster Cuts, Tomko still being in trouble, why Randy Orton can’t resist himself, new TNA matches and possible roster additions, Today in Wrestling History and more!
Welcome to the Tuesday news adventure, the one stop shop for all of the wrestling news, scuttlebutt, tidbits and rumors that you crave…Your News, My Views! I am your host Larry Csonka and it is time again to do what I do best, so sit back and relax.
The Steelers had a pretty good draft this past weekend. I fully expected them just to fill some holes, but I think they ended up with one of the better draft classes.
I had a follow up conference this past weekend. It was rough stuff Saturday, but Sunday was excellent. We ended up golfing; the district superintendent, the Bishop and ME! Man does that sound like the set up for a bad joke. We rocked 36-holes of golf, threw back some of the finer brew and simultaneously praised and cursed the lord for our golf games. I will say that a good time was had by all and more of these weekends need to end up this way. The golf game is also coming back to form. I played a course I never played before, but tried to keep things simple and ended up with an 84 and then a 90. The putting was ON Sunday for that first 18, better than it has been in years. So good that it was likely one of those once in a lifetime days.
SANTINO TROMBINO~!
Get ready for the Independent Draft Spectacular II. My roster is EPIC.
There will be no Warrior talk. All of the good jokes were used last week, and I did my quality Warrior Bashing years ago with the "interview."
Another preview of sorts for you kids, get ready for a new series of features here in the 411 wrestling zone. The first part of it will run in June!
Now to discuss some comments:
Regarding last week's news column: Thanks to those that commented or emailed about Hana. She's a trooper I have to say, you wouldn't even know she has a break. She is rocking the cast ala Cowboy Bob Orton. She's an awesome kid.
Regarding last week's news column: Rebecca Knox DOES need to be on TV regularly!
Regarding last week's news column: Elijah Burke is a charismatic and talented guy. I really wonder if he did piss someone off.
Regarding last week's news column: I do agree on Shelton and why he hasn't been pushed. Every time he gets the shove, he makes a big in ring mistake. But I cannot understand why he is just in such limbo either.
Regarding last week's news column: I apologize for the mistake on the SNIZZ line and appreciate the corrections.
Regarding last week's news column: I didn't comment on ROH to Canada because it isn't a done deal. They are still trying to secure a building.
Regarding last week's news column: I am glad everyone loved the "Lonely Road Of Faith" and "Strut Off" videos. I try to give you guys something to enjoy in the column each week, whether in writing or video form.
Regarding last week's 4R's: If you liked the "Presidential Match" cool, but I thought it was pretty stupid.
Regarding last week's 4R's: Yes Punk did have a harder road to the finals, but losing clean in 4-minutes is far from protected. The tournament was ran badly in my opinion.
Regarding last week's 4R's: I should have taken the whole week off since everyone wanted to talk about Geoff and Smackdown!
WrestleMania Buy Rate prediction. 800,000 Domestic and 1.2-Million combined with international buys, likely just below the record. I wouldn't be surprised to see them break the record though.
Today in Wrestling History:

2001 - Event - Backlash, Allstate Arena, Chicago, IL
2001 - Steve Austin & Triple H defeated Kane & The Undertaker for the WWF Tag Team title

Is it hot in here, or is it just Csonka?
WWE/ECW news, notes and happenings to the EXTREME:
One a Freebird always a Freebird. That's a sentiment I have heard a lot over the last week regarding the suspension of Michael PS Hayes. Unfortunately that is not an excuse for his actions, but people want it to be. The situation was that Hayes was talking with MVP, joking around because they are close behind the scenes. MVP was discussing how cool Hayes was in his day and jokingly said, "You're more of a nigger than I am." Now, as far as I am concerned nigger is not an acceptable term. I don't use it, nor would I use it around an African American. I feel that it is a derogatory term, an insult of you will. But day in and day out, I hear African American's use the term when conversing with one of their own, which is apparently acceptable. I am not here to debate that fact. MVP was having a conversation with a friend and someone he looked up to, and jokingly as well as likely paying a compliment said that Hayes was so FUCKING cool back in the day with his jive talking ways, that he was "more of a nigger than he was." And I suppose that's fine in the confines of their conversation and friendship.
Now later in the day Hayes was talking with Mark Henry and was trying to get him to open up his character. You see Hayes feels that keeps to himself too much, even in character. He was trying to get Henry to be more out going, basically he wanted Henry to be like African American's used to be portrayed. Hayes then stated to Henry, "I am more of a nigger than you are." You see, to me, this is crossing the line. This is not MVP and Hayes having a playful conversation as friends. And apparently there is no standing friendship with Hayes and Henry. Hayes made the comment, and Henry was offended, but kept quiet likely due to not wanting to hurt his position in the company. There were witnesses to the conversation, and apparently they were as shocked as Henry was.
Now later in that evening, Hayes gave Henry a playful head butt, which apparently was a Freebirds trademark to show that they liked you, dating back nearly 30-years. They also used to piss on your leg, let's be glad for Hayes sake that he didn't do that one. Regarding the head butt Henry told him never to do that again. It was after all of that when Henry went to Vince McMahon about the situation. And really, it was Henry's choice to do this. Some are quick to judge here and say he is the one that blew things out of proportion, but you are not in his position. This likely offended him greatly, which is why he went to McMahon with it instead of killing Hayes. Some with in the company feel that Mark Henry made too big a deal about it, and many friends and supporters of Hayes have heat with Henry. To those people I say get over yourself, a man stood up for what he believed in and he knew he would get shit. be adults, not sheep. Most inside WWE thought Hayes was untouchable, but Vince McMahon suspended Hayes himself to send a clear message.
Hayes comes from the southern school of pro wrestling, which is a very different world than the politically correct world of 2008. And that is the thing, it is 2008 and if you didn't realize, it isn't cool to walk into the work place and start throwing around racial slurs like nigger. But a lot of people accept Hayes and his lingo as is, because it is just his way of speaking while others wonder how the man can work for a publicly traded company and the language be acceptable; basically because of the lawsuit possibilities that present themselves. Hayes was a worker that while not the best in the ring, got over by his promo work; his ability to jive talk and the joke is that he considers himself "black" due to his ability to relate with African Americans. Dusty Rhodes was the same way and both men had a huge African American fan base. But while some are accepting of this, there is a problem when an African American doesn't consider him in that way. Many feel that Lashley got such an easy release; with the ability to go to TNA if he wishes in May is due to issues with Hayes and racism. These were heavily rumored back when Lashley got his release, and seem to have some validity to them.
Hayes will not return until he finishes with counseling, basically a form of sensitivity training. If WWE feels he is ready then he will be brought back to the company. But until Hayes returns, Ed Korskey and Christopher DeJosephs (who plays Big Dick Johnson on WWE TV) will take over as the writers for Smackdown and ECW. DeJosephs had been writing for ECW since Dave Lagana was fired and Dusty Rhodes left for Florida Championship Wrestling. This again shows that McMahon was very serious here because Hayes has been credited with doing such a good job with the brand. It will be interesting to see how the brand changes, if it does, while Hayes is out.
Your News: Randy Orton had another incident on the recent European tour. Orton was upset that the hotel staff woke him up earlier than he scheduled. Orton then put clothes on, took his food from room service, went down the hall and threw the food on the staff that woke him up. Orton reportedly laughed after the incident and went back to his room.
My Views: Man, Randy Orton the "person" is still quite the immature douche bag isn't he? Seriously, he gets woken up a bit early and throws a child like fit by throwing his food? Really? That's what he does huh? If that's the case fuck him, he needs to grow up. Yes I enjoy watching him as a wrestler, I think he does very well, but as a person he needs to grow up and grow up fast. And I do not want to hear about "the rock star life style" or that other people do it as well. They need to grow the fuck up too. Just because you're popular and make tons of money doesn't mean that you can do what ever you want. Take some damn responsibility for your actions.
Your News: When the Raw crew landed in Portugal, there was an incident where a fan grabbed Maria. This apparently scared her a lot. She was about to make a formal complaint when Umaga overheard the story and demanded to know who did it. Umaga never found the guy, but Maria was physically shaken over the incident.
My Views: What is it with people and the thought that they are allowed to touch anyone they want when they want? And I don't want to hear the, "Maria was in Playboy, she's a whore" shit either. They were in an airport, and while these things can happen to celebrities, they do not deserve to be violated. And DAMN this dude is lucky as hell that Umaga did not get a hold of him. The man has a reputation of being a complete bad ass with a history of getting into fights years ago. I would have paid to see him beat down some piece of shit like that.
Your News: Rey Mysterio is being advertised for Smackdown House Shows in June.
My Views: Rey coming back will be good in the fact that it freshens things up. But the thing I worry about is whether or not he is coming back too soon. He has a laundry list of injury problems and coming back too soon will not be the smart thing to do. Let's hope that Rey in healed up and ready to go, because one more major injury could spell the end for him. And that is a reality that he and some fans need to accept.
Your News: WWE released Chris Gray, Tommy Taylor, Michael Thompson, Ryan Bishop from their developmental deals this week. Dave Taylor and Balls Mahoney were cut yesterday.
My Views: Who?
Who?
Who?
Who?
Wh… whoa! So Squire Dave is no more. While I will be sad to see him go, I completely understand. His days as a TV performer are getting behind him, and anytime they thought that they would use him they dropped it. I do hope that they consider keeping him around for developmental training purposes. The man will not only be a good trainer, but a guy that can get in there and work sample matches with guys to make sure that they understand what he and others are teaching.
As for Balls, I figured that this was coming since he hadn't been heard from in a while, and with Dusty in developmental, his supporter was gone. He had a rebirth when they did the Kelly angle, but never followed up on it and just dropped him. It's a shame because he never got the full chance to see if he could succeed, but in the end it isn't a cut that will hurt anything. The good news for him is that with his popularity from ECW/WWE he will do well on the Indy scene and be able to charge a hefty fee. Good luck to both men!
Your News: Kevin Thorn and Stevie Richards will be working down in FCW the first of May.
My Views: This is good in both cases. First of all they seem to have both jack and shit for Thorn. They changed his look with no explanation, and then stopped using him. If he is going to work on a new gimmick, then developmental is the place to do it. Also, Thorn needs more work overall, so this is good. Secondly they seem to have both jack and shit for Stevie as well. But in Stevie's case, his role down there will be giving the developmental guys someone with a ton of in ring experience to work with. Stevie has been on ECW and WWE TV a lot in his career. He knows about TV wrestling and more importantly, what WWE expects of these guys. He will be a great help to the developmental guys.

Your News: Unless things change Tomko will not be around until after the Sacrifice PPV. He has reportedly been suspended from the company due to working the IGF show the day of the Lockdown Fan Fest. Bill Behrens usually books the Japan dates for TNA talent, but Tomko was booking his dates on his own, since he got a deal with New Japan on his own. This is why AJ and Tomko dropped the tag team titles on Impact after the Lockdown PPV. Tomko was announced for Impact as part of the tag team tournament last week.
My Views: Now you see, this is how you punish someone, partly. I do not see why they just couldn't have done the title change to LAX with Tomko doing the job and then suspend him. They could have worked it that he and AJ were having problems and that he left AJ to fend for himself. They could have ran an angle in the match where AJ PELE's Tomko, Homicide tosses AJ and Hernandez gets the Border Toss on Tomko and then pins him. EASY. But no, they had to run this stupid tournament. And I will tell you why it is stupid.
As the rules state, eight teams will compete in tournament bouts on Impact to qualify for the Sacrifice tournament. All right, that makes sense to begin with. The four winning teams will make it to the PPV. Again that would make sense, if it ended there. But then at the PPV, FOUR more teams that aren't teams because they are made up of singles performers will be put together randomly to face the four teams that qualified on the PPV. So basically the REAL teams are being punished. Right. They are using the Lethal Lottery deal, which is am sorry to say kids is NOT new. On top of that not only do tournaments do poor PPV numbers (which is why they dropped KOTR from PPV, they got low buys because people didn't know what they were paying for) but also the Lethal Lottery never did good PPV numbers because of the same reason. Now, if that wasn't bad enough, this means that this tournament will take place on the PPV, which means SEVEN MATCHES of tournament on the PPV. Now if we just had the world title match as well that would be ok because it would be eight matches total. But then you have to add in the women's battle royal/ladder/head shaving match as well as the Jim Cornette is Going Crazy and Going to make a New Giant Cage match, which makes TEN PPV MATCHES. Nothing will get any time, everything will be rushed and Sacrifice is slowly looking like a Russo-Riffic Cluster-Fuck of Epic Proportions.
The thing is that last week on Impact Tomko was advertised as AJ said that they were going to have a match. Of course they could write him out as AJ said he was in Japan, but it will be interesting to see how this works out.
Your News: The angle where Cornette talked about all of the women complaining was a half shoot from management to the women. The plan is for one of the ladies to get their head shaved almost completely bald at the PPV.
My Views: "The angle where Cornette talked about all of the women complaining was a half shoot from management to the women." WHY? If you have an issue with the ladies, why don't you TELL THEM IN A MEETING? I am so sick of this "half shoot Russo Bullshit/punishing the fans" shit that TNA continually does. It is so annoying. Also, it sounds like the loser will be getting a "Joan of Ark" instead of a bald shave. LAME. Deliver the stipulation if you advertise it. And I plan to talk about this in the R's but this is a match that is so stupid that there really is no winner. There will be like 10 losers that get tossed from the match. The person that wins will get killed by Kong, so that's not much of a win and the "loser" gets their head shaved. Fuck that, I'll eliminate myself and go drinking.
Your News: Kurt Angle was disappointed with his match at Lockdown with Samoa Joe. Angle did not suffer a concussion or neck injury as was being reported, but did suffer a rib cartilage injury. He then aggravated it by wrestling three nights later against Joe in their rematch.
My Views: In my opinion he shouldn't be disappointed, I thought the match was great. But I also know that a person can be their own worst critic. On the injury front, I have to say that I am glad that it was not a neck injury again or another concussion for Kurt. Those are things he doesn't need. But a rib cartilage injury is nothing fun either. Let's hope he is limited going into Sacrifice so he has some time to recover.
Your News: The Impact tapings after Lockdown saw some talent missing. Curry Man, Shark Boy, Lance Hoyt and others were not flown from Boston to Orlando as a financial move.
My Views: I understand this. If they were not going to be used on Impact there was no reason to fly them into Florida. Buying round trip tickets for these guys from their homes to Boston and back were cost effective, and a smart move.
Your News: Shantell Taylor, a former WWE developmental talent recently had a dark match try out with the company, working with Riesha Saeed.
My Views: While I don't think that TNA needs to be expanding their roster right now, I will admit that Shantell Taylor would be a great addition to the ladies roster. I have enjoyed the work I have seen of her, and she brings a more lucha-based style to the division if she comes in. I also am glad that she got to work a try out match with an accomplished worker. I feared she would have been paired with Hemme, Sky or Salinas. No one would have looked good against them. She may be debuting with the company this week according to recent reports, if she does, she will be a good addition to the roster.
Your News: Internally TNA was disappointed with the Impact rating after Lockdown and Samoa Joe's title win.
My Views: I don't see why. Let's be honest, nothing they have done pops a rating. Live Impact, nothing. Christian Cage, nothing. Kurt Angle, nothing. Jesus returning, nothing. Just because they run a title change they cannot expect a dramatic change in the ratings. You have to put on a nice long string of must see shows to have that happen. And again I say ratings mean nothing, converting TV viewers to PPV buyers is, and they need to work on that big time as well.
Your News: The World X-Cup has been pushed back. It was to begin this month, but will now be moved to June and finish up at the July PPV.
My Views: I figure this is because they are having trouble once again securing talent for the actual tournament. If that is the case it is best to push it back and make sure you have everyone you need lined up for the event instead of going into it half assed.
Your News: The idea behind TNA's new gimmick cage match is to do something similar to the AAA Domed Cage in an effort to give TNA another trademark match, like Ultimate X.
My Views: First of all I have to say this. Trademark gimmick matches would mean a lot more if they didn't run 34 gimmick matches a month! Now onto this. I don't know how this will work, logistically. They are running Sacrifice at the Impact Zone, so unless they are just doing a 6-sides of steel with a lowered dome roof, I don't see how this will work out. I am interested to see how it does come off though. The match is rumored to be a 10-man match involving the X-Division wrestlers.
Your News: TNA Bound for Glory is expected to be held in the Chicago area. There is also talk of holding a PPV in the Southwest later this year.
My Views: TNA has been rumored to run the Chicago area for some time, so I will not believe this until I see it. I do think that running the Chicago market is smart, and is an area that they should not only run a PPV, but also plan a house show swing for. Going into the Southwest is risky since they haven't even ran house shows there, but is also needed if they plan to keep expanding. I will be interested to see where they choose to run if they do hit the Southwest.
Your News: Matt Morgan is slated to be a feature on an upcoming TNA Rough Cuts segment.
My Views: I think that this is a good plan. Morgan has been thrust into the wrestling role, but using the Rough Cuts segments can be a good way to get fans to know him and to get emotionally invested in him. I have always said that TNA needs more personality profile pieces on their performers. They have done some from time to time, but not nearly enough. I am all for this.
Your News: A casting call went out today for a pilot featuring TNA star Shark Boy. The pilot would be for a potential live action children's series and would not involve TNA and SpikeTV. The show is looking for children's variety and circus style performers. The pilot will be filmed next month.
My Views: I will watch every episode of this show if it ever comes to life. It has comedy gold written all over it.
Your News: TNA posted the following on their website today: "Due to a shipping error, The Best Of 2007 DVD will be available at select Walmart locations starting this Monday, April 28! We apologize for any confusion this may have caused."
My Views: That sucks, shipping errors = loss of money. It is a good DVD as well, you can read my review of it HERE!
~The HOTTNESS of Rebecca Knox~
I love this woman!
Independent Insights~!
Your News: Nigel McGuiness vs. Claudio Castagnoli for the ROH Title will headline ROH's Hammerstein Ballroom show in New York City on 5/10.
My Views: I am a big fan of both guys, and think that they will put on a good main event. I have enjoyed a good number of both men's matches, and overall am a fan of both guys. The other thing is that ROH already had good ticket sales for this show. Some people thought that they should bring in someone big for the title match, which I disagree. Sure if you can snag an RVD for a night to work a match that is cool, but they don't need it in the main event match. As far as Claudio winning the title, I don't know. I don't think it would be the worst thing, but also I feel that Nigel is running strong now that his injury issues have gone away. I think the important question, and it is for someone who follows ROH more than I do (ARI) is this: If Nigel wins, does he have enough credible challengers to keep running strong as champion?
Your News: Hiroshi Tanahashi is currently out of action for NJPW with torn ligaments in his left nee. He suffered the injury on April 8th in his Champions Carnival match with Toshiaki Kawada when he executed his frog splash. Tanahashi continued to work with the injury, taking multiple pain killer shots over the weeks, but has been instructed that if he did not get surgery, he was risking long-term damage. Tanahashi is expected to miss 6-months if he gets the reconstructive surgery. As of this report he is scheduled to work the May 5th Korakuen Hall show.
My Views: Losing Tanahashi would be a blow to NJPW at this time. But the fact is that he will need surgery at some point, and by continuing to work (he is scheduled to work the May 5th Korakuen Hall show) he is endangering his longevity I feel. He has been warned by a doctor and is ignoring it, the pro wresting mentality to the end. I hope that he makes the right choice and gets the knee taken care of. Missing 6-months now is better than being out longer later and or shortening his career down the line. Use some common sense brother.
Your News: Joey Mathews continues to play the "players coach" role in ROH. The most recent example was his match with Jigsaw in Detroit. The goal is to have Mathews work with faces that use tons of moves, but little else. He is working with them to have then properly play babyface; take the heat, sell better and then make the babyface comeback.
My Views: I think that this is a great idea. I talked about this weeks ago when it was first mentioned that he would be working in this capacity, and my opinion has not changed. ROH has many guys that know how to work a great match, but they also have their share of inexperienced guys or guys that only know one way to work. If Mathews can share his knowledge with guys like Jigsaw, it can only improve those guys and the product overall.
Your News: Chris Hero is working what is described as a "NOAH-Oriented Style" these days in ROH. This is to get him away from the comedy heel role, which everyone likes and would cheer for.
My Views: Once again, this is a very good idea. Hero as he was, was so damn entertaining that it was nearly impossible for him to get a lot of heat. I loved his goofy Indy geek/comedy heel stuff as well and never hated him. If he sticks to a more serious or "NOAH-Oriented Style" then it could only be a good thing. While they will still respect the work, they won't be popping for his wacky celebrations on the corner. In fact teasing them now and not going through with them will only get him more heat. I approve of this change.
Your News: After a seven-year battle with cancer, Elevera Anoai Fatu passed away yesterday. Elevera was the sister of Afa and Sika (The Wild Samoans) and the mother of wrestlers Edward Fatu (Umaga), Solofa Fatu (Rikishi) and Sam Fatu (Tonga Kid).
My Views: Sad news for one of the largest and famous wrestling families. I know the pain of losing a mother, and can only sympathize with Umaga, Rikishi and the Tonga Kid. I think I speak for everyone at 411 when I say that I would like to wish the family and friends Elevera Anoai Fatu our condolences during this time of mourning.

Im waiting for next Raw where we see Orton sleeping but he is woken up by some
WWE staff guy... so he goes and punts him right in the head.
Great column as always Larry

re: Nigel's run and compelling challengers, I'd have to think that we're in for
a bit of a series of rematches with guys at the top such as Danielson, Aries,
Steen and Claudio. Unless they bring someone else in, those are your top faces
in ROH right now, although Aries might be too consumed with Jimmy Jacobs for
the forseeable future. I think that if properly built up, these rematches will
stay fresh and exciting and any of those three could win the title (probably in
late summer /early fall) and make the fans happy.
That said, there is one match still out there that I'd be intrigued by as to
see how they deal with it and thats ROH Champion vs. GHC Champion in a Nigel
vs. Takeshi Morishima in a rematch from Nigel's title win.

Regarding the news on Randy Orton in Europe, that isn't living a rock star
lifestyle. It's just being straight up childish, and he gave that a big old
exclamation point with the dumb laugh. The man needs to grow up before he
represents the WWE again as the Champion, and despite him being a "good
heel" or whatever, why on Earth would Vince McMahon want such a
representative in his public traded company.
BTW, great column as usual, Larry.
Posted By: Marty (Guest) on April 29, 2008 at 08:13 AM
I agree Orton needs to grow up. But every time he does something immature,WWE
pushes him. Expect him to win the WWE title,ECW title and heavyweight title in
the coming weeks. AND he will keep and defend all titles!

i am black. i dont condone the use of the n-word by anyone, black or white. my

I gotta say, Hayes was a knucklehead here. I' not gonna dive too deep here, but
common sense, PS. I always said Cowboy Bob should have rolled over and shot
Randy on the wall, and this just reenforces that. Maria has every right to walk
through an airport without some dickhead grabbing her ass, or whatever he did. I
would gladly hold said dickhead down so Umaga could beat him with both fists.
Good man, Eddie. TNA's tag tourney is stupid. 4 random singles guys huh? And if
you don't like your partner, tough shit, huh? Anyone else smell TAG TEAM
CHAMPIONS THAT DON'T GET ALONG!!!? And why are they shitting on the women's
division when it's the only thing keeping them alive at this point? Who'd pay
to see Kong kill Russo? Me.

Honestly, I don't think Hayes meant much by it... but the way society works
Henry was within his rights to cry.

If that story with Randy Orton is true, then he's a fucking dumbass. That
actually makes me angry.
As for Hayes, get a clue, buddy. You can't use slurs and the like with people
you aren't familiar with. Yeah, I through the N word around on occasion with
my black friend, I wouldn't do it with someone else. I called my fat friend
tubby, but I wouldn't call just anyone tubby. Hell, I cuss like a sailor,
sometimes, but I curb it around my mother. Reign in that tongue, you have to
in this fuckin' PC wasteland.
Larry, you always bring a good point about TNA punishing the fans. I vowed to
start watching again after Joe won the title, and I have been watching. But
they aren't making it wasy on me. I really want to enjoy it, how sad is that?

Larry, i think i asked you this last week, but here it is again
if you could only watch wrestling or MMA for the rest of your life, which would
it be?

"And that is the thing, it is 2008 and if you didn't realize, it isn't cool
to walk into the work place and start throwing around racial slurs like
nigger."
Speaking from personal experience, it does make a difference in the workplace.
I worked at a hospital last year in a small office with 5 people. I was the
only male as well as being the only white person. They would run around the
office, yelling "nigger" this and "nigger" that. After a
few months, they eventually got me to open up and everything was cool in the
office; I felt like I had been accepted since it was a very uncomfortable
situation at first. Lo and behold, however, I let the "n-word" loose
when quoting Boondocks. They laughed, life was good. Very next day I was fired
for "derrogatory language."
Tell me, is 2008 really different?

"The person that wins will get killed by Kong, so that's not much of a win
and the "loser" gets their head shaved. Fuck that, I'll eliminate
myself and go drinking."
I guess someone does not realize wrestling is fake...
