Harlem Heat To Be Inducted Into WWE Hall of Fame
WWE has announced that the legendary WCW tag team Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray) will both be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2019. They join a group that includes D-Generation X (Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Chyna, X-Pac, Billy Gunn and Road Dogg), The Honky Tonk Man and Torrie Wilson. This will also make Booker T a two-time Hall of Famer along with Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels. The event happens on April 6 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
The tag team never competed in WWE, but held tag team gold in WCW (ten times), GWF (three times) and Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling promotion (one time). Stevie Ray, meanwhile is also a former WCW Television champion, while Booker T is a former five-time WCW champion and WWE World Heavyweight champion.
