Chris Jericho is out in his shiny suit to kick off the show. He isn’t here to apologize, and if anyone should be held responsible for what happened to Rebecca, it should be Shawn Michaels himself. He did not put Rebecca in harms way, and here’s the proof. We get clips of last night’s Michaels promo, and Jericho inadvertently punching Rebecca. Big “you suck” chants for Jericho now. Jericho says Michaels knew what he was doing last night but instead of doing things the classy way, he had to do things the HBK way, to see his name in lights one more time. He wanted to placate his ego one more time. And as a result of that, the fans are responsible for what hap[pened to Rebecca as well. But ultimately, all Shawn had to do was look him in the eye and say it was him who ended his career but he didn’t do that and look what happened. Jericho says despite Shawn’s accolades and nicknames, all that matters is that the last moment he ever spent in this ring was him cradling the head of his unconscious wife and knowing that he was responsible for it. Shawn has tarnished his career and legacy forever and he and his family will have to live with it forever. Jericho says Shawn deserved it. Big “HBK” chants now. Shawn had it coming.
